I will go through the Old Testament 00:01:48.900 --> 00:01:51.760 Scriptures, what we call the prophets, the writers 00:01:51.760 --> 00:01:54.810 of Moses and the prophets, the Psalms. Every single time 00:03:49.009 --> 00:03:54.169 you come across a story, a parable, an instance 00:03:54.169 --> 00:03:58.310 recorded, anything that Jesus did, there's always, 00:03:58.430 --> 00:04:01.569 there's always a teaching. All right? There's 00:04:01.569 --> 00:04:06.509 always a teaching that Jesus will do whenever 00:04:06.509 --> 00:04:09.330 there is a miracle. Whenever there's a miracle 00:04:09.330 --> 00:04:12.810 in the Bible and not just there for fun. Okay? 00:04:13.550 --> 00:04:18.189 Every bit of Jesus' miracle, you will see a teaching 00:04:18.189 --> 00:04:22.550 in line with that. This aligns with biblical 00:07:37.540 --> 00:07:42.389 teaching on the origin of faith. The origin of 00:07:42.389 --> 00:07:44.029 faith. And when we talk about the origin of faith, 00:07:44.050 --> 00:07:48.230 we're talking about the biblical faith. And we've 00:07:48.230 --> 00:07:50.850 said this in the past week, that faith comes 00:07:50.850 --> 00:07:55.930 from God. A man who does not have the spirit 00:07:55.930 --> 00:07:58.509 of God in him does not have the ability to exercise 00:07:58.509 --> 00:08:03.389 the kind of faith of God. Because the life of the 00:08:37.289 --> 00:08:41.529 believer is anchored on what God has done. The 00:08:41.529 --> 00:08:44.429 life of the believer is situated, is founded 00:08:44.429 --> 00:08:48.950 in what God has worked in Christ. Ephesians 2, 00:08:49.309 --> 00:08:54.850 verse 8 -10. In the King James Version it says, 00:08:54.929 --> 00:08:59.769 For by grace are ye saved through faith. Alright? 00:08:59.870 --> 00:09:04.960 By grace we are saved through faith. And that's 00:09:04.960 --> 00:09:10.000 not of yourselves. So we didn't contribute in 00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:14.740 what God did in our salvation. Acts chapter 3 from verse 1 to 9. Now Peter 00:15:08.669 --> 00:15:11.889 and Job went up together to the temple at the 00:15:11.889 --> 00:15:16.129 hour of prayer, the ninth hour. We don't need a special retreat so we 00:17:03.379 --> 00:17:05.400 can be complete and sufficient to do the works 00:17:05.400 --> 00:17:10.200 of God. We have all that God has done in us. 00:17:11.119 --> 00:17:14.970 And what we need to understand is the work that 00:17:14.970 --> 00:17:18.529 God has established in us. Peter was particularly 00:17:18.529 --> 00:17:23.170 conscious of what he had in him. Now, oftentimes 00:17:23.170 --> 00:17:25.289 we are not conscious of what God has worked in 00:17:25.289 --> 00:17:29.390 us. We are not conscious of consciousness. Faith 00:17:29.390 --> 00:17:33.890 works with knowledge. Faith works with knowledge. 00:17:35.890 --> 00:17:38.950 We must be conscious of what God has wrought 00:17:38.950 --> 00:17:41.799 in us. And we see Peter acting, giving expression 00:18:16.339 --> 00:18:23.920 to what God has put in him. So faith speaks from 00:18:23.920 --> 00:18:26.819 the position of what we already have. We're not 00:18:26.819 --> 00:18:29.599 looking for something else. But faith speaks 00:18:29.599 --> 00:18:32.420 from the position of what we already have. It 00:18:32.420 --> 00:18:34.619 speaks from the position of the reality of the 00:18:34.619 --> 00:18:41.650 believer. So you don't need a special kind of 00:18:41.650 --> 00:18:48.730 faith. The faith you have is all of the faith 00:18:48.730 --> 00:18:52.250 that you need in order to live the life of God 00:18:52.250 --> 00:18:55.890 and to do the work of God. You don't need a special 00:18:55.890 --> 00:19:01.589 faith. You don't need a special faith. And your 00:19:01.589 --> 00:19:04.970 faith is not little. There's no little faith. 00:19:06.329 --> 00:19:11.519 Faith is faith. When you believe in Jesus Christ, 00:19:11.799 --> 00:19:17.559 you receive in fullness the faith of God. And some people are not, are lower ranks 00:21:14.950 --> 00:21:20.829 than others. No, we equally have. The same faith 00:21:20.829 --> 00:21:26.309 has been given to all men as salvation.
