Today, I want to speak 00:02:48.469 --> 00:02:50.909 openly about something many believers experience, 00:02:51.150 --> 00:02:54.090 but few truly understand. Spiritual warfare. 00:02:54.430 --> 00:02:58.189 Not fantasy. Not fear. Not superstition. Reality. 00:02:58.550 --> 00:03:00.289 Because one of the greatest mistakes believers 00:03:00.289 --> 00:03:02.930 can make is assuming that because Jesus won the 00:03:02.930 --> 00:03:05.710 victory at the cross, spiritual battles no longer 00:03:05.710 --> 00:03:08.969 exist. No. Jesus never denied the existence of 00:03:08.969 --> 00:03:11.689 warfare. In fact, He acknowledged it openly. 00:03:12.069 --> 00:03:15.189 In Luke 10 19, after sending out the 70 disciples 00:03:15.189 --> 00:03:18.330 to preach, heal, and cast out demons, they returned 00:03:18.330 --> 00:03:20.810 amazed that demons submitted to them in His name. 00:03:21.069 --> 00:03:23.849 And Jesus responded, Behold, I have given you 00:03:23.849 --> 00:03:26.710 authority over all the power of the enemy. Think 00:03:26.710 --> 00:03:29.110 about that carefully. Authority only matters 00:03:29.110 --> 00:03:31.770 where opposition exists. Jesus would never give 00:03:31.770 --> 00:03:34.310 authority over an enemy that did not exist, which 00:03:34.310 --> 00:03:37.169 means spiritual warfare is real. Battles against your mind, against 00:03:42.810 --> 00:03:45.509 your peace, against your marriage, against your 00:03:45.509 --> 00:03:48.259 purpose, against your spiritual life. And many 00:03:48.259 --> 00:03:50.379 believers are exhausted today because they are 00:03:50.379 --> 00:03:52.520 fighting battles they do not fully understand. 00:03:52.780 --> 00:03:55.340 But here is the powerful truth. The victory of 00:03:55.340 --> 00:03:57.979 the cross did not remove the reality of warfare. 00:03:58.280 --> 00:04:00.840 It changed our position within warfare. That is 00:04:11.479 --> 00:04:13.819 why believers pray with confidence. That is why 00:04:13.819 --> 00:04:16.300 we seek God's protection. That is why we dwell 00:04:16.300 --> 00:04:19.029 in His presence. Not because we are afraid, but 00:04:19.029 --> 00:04:21.069 because we understand that there is an invisible 00:04:21.069 --> 00:04:24.389 war constantly happening around us. Known battles. 00:04:24.730 --> 00:04:27.889 Unknown battles. Seen attacks. A heavenly perimeter. a wall of 00:04:45.389 --> 00:04:47.829 invisible protection around the people of God. 00:04:48.629 --> 00:04:50.730 And throughout scripture, whenever believers 00:04:50.730 --> 00:04:53.769 reached moments of exhaustion, fear, pressure, 00:04:53.970 --> 00:04:57.790 or danger, heaven intervened. Sometimes through 00:04:57.790 --> 00:05:01.089 strength, sometimes through direction, sometimes 00:05:01.089 --> 00:05:04.889 through angels. I remember my own car accident. 00:05:05.410 --> 00:05:07.629 My truck lost control and was headed directly 00:05:07.629 --> 00:05:10.389 toward an electrical pole. The impact should 00:05:10.389 --> 00:05:13.649 have hit my door, the driver's side, my side. 00:05:13.879 --> 00:05:17.459 And somehow, at the last second, the truck shifted 00:05:17.459 --> 00:05:20.839 forward. The pole struck the passenger side instead. 00:05:21.339 --> 00:05:24.139 And even today, I still cannot naturally explain 00:05:24.139 --> 00:05:27.139 what happened. But spiritually, I understand 00:05:27.139 --> 00:05:30.360 something now. Sometimes heaven intervenes silently. 00:05:31.139 --> 00:05:33.079 Sometimes God protects you without announcing 00:05:33.079 --> 00:05:36.120 it publicly. And sometimes, what people call 00:05:36.120 --> 00:05:40.060 luck, was divine intervention. Many believers 00:05:40.060 --> 00:05:42.279 listening to me right now have testimonies like 00:05:42.279 --> 00:05:45.100 that. You should not have survived that sickness. 00:05:45.620 --> 00:05:48.139 That accident should have destroyed you. That 00:05:48.139 --> 00:05:50.819 depression should have buried you. That addiction 00:05:50.819 --> 00:05:53.519 should have consumed you. That relationship should 00:05:53.519 --> 00:05:56.800 have ruined your destiny. But somehow, you are 00:05:56.800 --> 00:05:59.660 still standing. And maybe the reason is simple. 00:06:00.160 --> 00:06:03.459 Heaven stepped in. And one of the most powerful 00:06:03.459 --> 00:06:06.620 examples in scripture to me is Gideon. Because 00:06:06.620 --> 00:06:09.079 Gideon shows us what warfare exhaustion looks 00:06:09.079 --> 00:06:12.189 like. When the angel appeared to Gideon, He was 00:06:12.189 --> 00:06:16.209 hiding. Fear had exhausted him. Israel had suffered 00:06:16.209 --> 00:06:19.310 under Midianite oppression for years. Their harvests 00:06:19.310 --> 00:06:22.870 were stolen. Their peace was stolen. Their confidence 00:06:22.870 --> 00:06:26.050 was stolen. And Gideon was threshing wheat and 00:06:26.050 --> 00:06:30.250 hiding. That is warfare exhaustion. That is what 00:06:30.250 --> 00:06:33.370 prolonged invisible battles do to people. Strong 00:06:33.370 --> 00:06:36.370 people begin living small. Chosen people begin 00:06:36.370 --> 00:06:39.329 hiding. Believers begin questioning themselves. 00:06:40.270 --> 00:06:43.149 and heaven stepped directly into Gideon's exhaustion. 00:06:44.009 --> 00:06:46.850 What is powerful is this. The angel did not speak 00:06:46.850 --> 00:06:49.509 to Gideon according to his condition. The angel 00:06:49.509 --> 00:06:51.730 spoke to Gideon according to heaven's perspective. 00:06:52.550 --> 00:06:56.009 Mighty man of valor. Imagine hearing that while 00:06:56.009 --> 00:06:59.709 hiding in fear. Because sometimes exhausted believers 00:06:59.709 --> 00:07:02.730 cannot see themselves correctly anymore. And 00:07:02.730 --> 00:07:04.790 divine intervention often begins when heaven 00:07:04.790 --> 00:07:07.310 reminds you who you are before the battle is 00:07:07.310 --> 00:07:10.819 over. And this pattern repeats throughout scripture. 00:07:11.500 --> 00:07:13.519 An angel strengthened Elijah when exhaustion 00:07:13.519 --> 00:07:16.500 made him want to die under the broom tree. An 00:07:16.500 --> 00:07:18.620 angel strengthened Jesus in Gethsemane before 00:07:18.620 --> 00:07:21.959 the cross. An angel delivered Peter from prison. 00:07:22.519 --> 00:07:24.560 Because heaven understands something many people 00:07:24.560 --> 00:07:28.279 ignore, battles can exhaust even strong believers. 00:07:29.480 --> 00:07:31.660 On some of you listening today know exactly what 00:07:31.660 --> 00:07:34.180 I mean. There are moments where the spiritual 00:07:34.180 --> 00:07:37.060 atmosphere becomes heavy. You feel pressure you 00:07:37.060 --> 00:07:40.100 cannot explain naturally. You feel urgency in 00:07:40.100 --> 00:07:43.600 your spirit. And something inside you says, pray 00:07:43.600 --> 00:07:48.720 now, not tomorrow, not later, now. There have 00:07:48.720 --> 00:07:50.439 been nights where I woke up in the middle of 00:07:50.439 --> 00:07:52.980 the night, woke up my wife and children, and 00:07:52.980 --> 00:07:55.920 we began praying together with authority. Not 00:07:55.920 --> 00:07:59.720 emotional prayer, authority prayer. Because spiritually, 00:08:00.180 --> 00:08:02.740 you could sense resistance. You could feel the 00:08:02.740 --> 00:08:06.110 heaviness. And after praying, Peace would suddenly 00:08:06.110 --> 00:08:09.709 return, the atmosphere would clear, and we would 00:08:09.709 --> 00:08:13.189 begin thanking God for his intervention. We may 00:08:13.189 --> 00:08:15.310 never fully know what battle was happening in 00:08:15.310 --> 00:08:18.089 the unseen realm, but one thing was certain, 00:08:18.550 --> 00:08:21.930 victory came. Because prayer is not passive, 00:08:22.350 --> 00:08:25.810 prayer is warfare. Daniel prayed and angels fought 00:08:25.810 --> 00:08:28.589 through resistance. Paul and Silas worshipped 00:08:28.589 --> 00:08:31.870 and chains broke open. Peter prayed and prison 00:08:31.870 --> 00:08:34.809 doors opened. Meaning prayer moves heaven into 00:08:34.809 --> 00:08:37.649 earthly battles. But this is also why believers 00:08:37.649 --> 00:08:41.210 become weary spiritually. Long exposure to warfare 00:08:41.210 --> 00:08:44.070 can drain people. Even strong believers become 00:08:44.070 --> 00:08:46.710 tired. And this is where the solution becomes 00:08:46.710 --> 00:08:50.850 important. Not fear. Not panic. Not obsession 00:08:50.850 --> 00:08:54.450 with demons. No. The solution is intentional 00:08:54.450 --> 00:08:57.970 spiritual living. Being aware of spiritual reality. 00:08:58.590 --> 00:09:01.370 Protecting your intimacy with God. And the demon responded, Jesus I know, 00:09:31.000 --> 00:09:34.940 Paul I know. But who are you? That statement 00:09:34.940 --> 00:09:37.919 reveals something powerful. The spiritual realm 00:09:37.919 --> 00:09:41.559 recognizes authentic intimacy with God. Authority 00:09:41.559 --> 00:09:44.799 flows from relationship, not performance, not 00:09:44.799 --> 00:09:48.960 appearance, not religious talk. Relationship. 00:09:49.799 --> 00:09:52.000 It is not enough to know about God. That is 00:10:16.019 --> 00:10:18.600 why prayer matters. Because the believer becomes 00:10:18.600 --> 00:10:21.519 a dwelling place for God's presence.
