That is why the story of the Prodigal 00:07:05.990 --> 00:07:09.040 Son is so powerful. The prodigal son believed 00:07:09.040 --> 00:07:12.139 the grass was greener on the other side. He wanted 00:07:12.139 --> 00:07:16.439 freedom, excitement, new experiences, distance 00:07:16.439 --> 00:07:19.860 from the father's house. And for a moment, it 00:07:19.860 --> 00:07:23.019 probably looked exciting until reality appeared. 00:07:23.500 --> 00:07:26.180 The pleasure disappeared. The money disappeared. 00:07:26.699 --> 00:07:29.660 The friends disappeared. The enemy advertises 00:08:48.389 --> 00:08:51.529 excitement while hiding destruction. He shows 00:08:51.529 --> 00:08:54.629 pleasure while hiding bondage. He shows freedom 00:08:54.629 --> 00:08:58.049 while hiding chains. He shows excitement while 00:08:58.049 --> 00:09:00.909 hiding emptiness. And this is why Galatians 6 00:09:00.909 --> 00:09:04.039 .9 is so powerful. Let us not grow weary in doing 00:09:04.039 --> 00:09:06.600 good. Paul acknowledged something important. 00:09:07.059 --> 00:09:09.720 Believers can grow weary, even in well doing, 00:09:10.159 --> 00:09:13.139 not in evil doing, not in rebellion, in well 00:09:13.139 --> 00:09:16.299 doing. Meaning, faithful Christians, serving 00:09:16.299 --> 00:09:19.259 Christians, committed Christians, good believers, 00:09:19.639 --> 00:09:22.480 can become weary spiritually. And this principle 00:09:22.480 --> 00:09:25.700 exists in every area of life. Marriages fail 00:09:25.700 --> 00:09:28.379 because of it. Businesses fail because of it. 00:09:28.679 --> 00:09:31.120 Ministries fail because of it. Churches fail 00:09:31.120 --> 00:09:34.309 because of it. Leaders fail because of it. And Samson 00:11:17.830 --> 00:11:20.009 is one of the greatest examples of spiritual 00:11:20.009 --> 00:11:23.389 weariness. People focus on Delilah, but before 00:11:23.389 --> 00:11:26.870 Delilah, there was exhaustion. That is prophetic.
