Welcome to the "What is Prophecy" series. In today's episode, Prophecy: How does Providence shape nations in chaos. Discover the hidden truth behind history, where God governs every moment, and learn why real peace is found not in control, but in trusting Him. Let's begin, with your host Hector Garcia. A man stood before kings, yet he did not tremble. He spoke with calm authority, while nations shook around him. Empires rose, armies marched, rulers boasted of power. And still, this man remained at peace. Why? What did he see, that others could not. The world saw politics, strategy, and power. But Scripture reveals something different. “The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought, he makes the devices of the people of none effect.” And again, “He brings the princes to nothing, he makes the judges of the earth as vanity.” You see, what appears strong, is often fragile. And what appears in control, is often being directed. History tells one story. Heaven tells another. Daniel once declared, “He removes kings, and sets up kings.” Not man, not chance, not fortune. But God. Think about that. Every rise, every fall, every moment. Not random. Ordered. Guided. Watched. The prophet also said, “He revealeth the deep and secret things.” Meaning, nothing is hidden from Him. Nothing escapes His sight. But here is the deeper truth. God is not distant. He is not watching from afar. He is working. Silently, patiently, behind everything. One inspired writer explains, That behind all the play of human events, The agencies of heaven are working out His will. That means, What you see, is not all there is. What you feel, is not the final truth. Now listen closely, Because this changes everything. God does not rule by force. He rules by love. “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us.” Even power, is guided by mercy. Even judgment, is shaped by patience. So the question becomes, If God controls history, What does that mean for you. It means your life, is not forgotten, it is not random, it is not overlooked. Scripture says, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Because the same hand, That moves nations, Guides individuals. And one day, All of this, Will reach its end. “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen.” “And the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed.” Every empire, every system, every power, Will pass away. But His kingdom, will stand, forever. And now, The mystery, The man who stood before kings, Who spoke without fear, Who trusted what he could not see, Was not a ruler, not a general, not a king. He was a captive, a servant, a prophet. His name, was Daniel. And now you know. The truth the Spirit has made known.
