In today's episode, Secrets Revealed, Part C, we find that knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent stands as the supreme science that defines eternal life itself and draws the community into living fellowship with the divine as we seek to experience His presence daily in every decision we make. Let us answer the question: What is the most important knowledge for us to seek? Let's begin withJeremiah 9:23-24.... Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. In John 17:3, it reads.... And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. In Ephesians 3:17–19, it says.... That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. In Testimonies for the Church, Volume 5, page 25, we read: “In the word of God the mind finds subject for the deepest thought, the loftiest aspiration. Here we may hold communion with patriarchs and prophets, and listen to the voice of the Eternal as He speaks with men. Here we behold the Majesty of heaven as He humbled Himself to become our substitute and surety to cope singlehanded with the powers of darkness and to gain the victory in our behalf. A reverent contemplation of such themes as these cannot fail to soften, purify, and ennoble the heart, and, at the same time, to inspire the mind with new strength and vigor.” This is what it means to me.... A man once opened a sacred book He read the words He understood the language But he did not understand the truth Because understanding does not come from reading alone It comes from revelation You see there is a key Not made by human hands Not earned by education But given from above Jesus once said “Howbeit when he the Spirit of truth is come he will guide you into all truth” Not some truth Not partial truth All truth And yet many still read and remain unchanged Why Because the door is still closed The Apostle Paul explains “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him” Foolishness Not because they lack value But because they require a different kind of sight Spiritual sight Now listen closely There is a place where this sight is given It is not a classroom Not a stage Not even a church pew It is a quiet place A hidden place A place where no one sees Except God Jesus said “Enter into thy closet and when thou hast shut thy door pray to thy Father which is in secret” Because heaven meets man In secret There the Spirit begins to speak Not loudly But clearly Not forcefully But faithfully And something happens The words begin to live The truth begins to breathe And the heart begins to change But here is the mystery The same Spirit who reveals truth Also tests the heart Because not all who seek truly want to see Some want knowledge Without surrender Light without obedience Truth without transformation But heaven does not work that way Because the Spirit is not just a teacher He is life itself And where He enters Nothing remains the same Now consider this Why would heaven give such a gift So freely So fully The answer is simple Love “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son” And with that gift Came another The Spirit To reveal To guide To transform But every gift carries responsibility Jesus said “Ye are the light of the world a city that is set on an hill cannot be hid” Light must shine Truth must be lived And what is received in secret Must be revealed in life Because a time is coming When heaven will pour out its Spirit In fullness In power In finality The Bible calls it The Latter Rain “Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain” Not wait Ask Because preparation begins now Not later Not someday Now So the question is not Will the Spirit come He will The question is Will He find you ready Ready to listen Ready to surrender Ready to be changed Because the man Who once read And did not understand Discovered something The key was never missing It was never lost It was simply Not invited And when he invited it Everything changed And now you know What the Spirit Has Shown You!
