Welcome, to the "What is Prophecy" series, read by Hector Garcia…. In today's episode, Secrets Revealed, Part C we find that knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent stands as the supreme science that defines eternal life itself and draws the community into living fellowship with the divine as we seek to experience His presence daily in every decision we make. Let us answer the question: What is the most important knowledge for us to seek? Let's begin with Jeremiah 9:23-24 “Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord. In John 17:3, it reads: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” In Ephesians 3:17–19, it says: “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” In Testimonies for the Church, Volume 5, page 25, we read: “In the word of God the mind finds subject for the deepest thought, the loftiest aspiration. Here we may hold communion with patriarchs and prophets, and listen to the voice of the Eternal as He speaks with men. Here we behold the Majesty of heaven as He humbled Himself to become our substitute and surety to cope singlehanded with the powers of darkness and to gain the victory in our behalf. A reverent contemplation of such themes as these cannot fail to soften, purify, and ennoble the heart, and, at the same time, to inspire the mind with new strength and vigor.” This is what it means to me…. A voice speaks Not from a throne you can see Not from a man you can question But from a place beyond time It tells of beginnings Before the first breath of man It tells of endings Before the last tear falls And yet Most have heard it But few have understood it…. This voice Has outlived kings Survived empires Endured fire And escaped the silence of those who tried to bury it Men have debated it Scholars have dissected it Critics have dismissed it But none Have stopped it Because this voice does not come from man It comes From God “All scripture is given by inspiration of God….” Not some, Not parts, But all…. And if that is true, then this is no ordinary book It is a message A message that stretches from creation to the end of all things. A message that does not simply inform; but transforms. “But as many as received him….” Did you hear that Received! Not studied only. Not admired from a distance. But received, “to them gave he power to become the sons of God ” Power. Not human strength Not personal effort But divine power, to become something we were not- Children Of God And yet If this message is so powerful, why do so many ignore it? If this voice is so clear, why do so many fail to hear it? Because understanding requires more than hearing It requires surrender. “For God so loved the world….” Not observed. Not analyzed, loved “…that he gave his only begotten Son….” This is not information This is sacrifice This is love A love that moves toward us Even when we move away. And this love Calls, Calls through history. Calls through prophecy Calls through the quiet conviction of the heart. Calling you…. But here is the mystery The same voice that calls, also warns…. “Watch therefore….” Not later…. Not someday…. Now! …. “…for ye know neither the day nor the hour….” This is not passive listening. This is active watching. “…Study to shew thyself approved….” Study. Search. Seek. Because this voice Will not force itself upon you. And still Through all the attempts to silence it/ It remains “The word of our God shall stand for ever….” Forever. Unchanged. Unbroken. Undeniable. So what is this voice? What is this message? What is this Book? It is the Bible. Not just pages. Not just ink. But the living voice of God. Speaking. Calling. Waiting. Waiting for you, to listen, to receive. to respond. And now you know, the truth the Spirit has made known….
