So that Kuro Ushi cockroach 00:02:40.120 --> 00:02:43.379 curse spirit thing that they had briefly touched 00:02:43.379 --> 00:02:47.639 on in the last episode, it uses this swarm to 00:02:47.639 --> 00:02:52.050 try to overwhelm and defeat Yuta. See, what I 00:02:52.050 --> 00:02:54.469 like is Yuta wasn't going full power with him 00:02:54.469 --> 00:02:58.389 instantly. He knows that there are two other 00:02:58.389 --> 00:03:02.270 high -level opponents in that colony. And he 00:03:02.270 --> 00:03:04.969 doesn't want to reveal anything that he doesn't 00:03:04.969 --> 00:03:09.009 have to. But then 00:05:25.629 --> 00:05:29.610 Ryu Ishigori steps in and he makes the entire 00:05:29.610 --> 00:05:33.860 situation worse. Because he is not waiting for 00:05:33.860 --> 00:05:37.860 a turn. He sees two strong targets and treats 00:05:37.860 --> 00:05:40.480 it like an opportunity to take them both out. 00:05:40.839 --> 00:05:44.519 I really enjoyed him. He blasts them with this 00:05:44.519 --> 00:05:49.839 concentrated, cursed energy beam. And it immediately 00:05:49.839 --> 00:05:55.139 shifted the whole fight's pace. See, this is a big part of why this episode 00:06:09.139 --> 00:06:12.160 worked for me. As much as Yuta is a beast and 00:06:12.160 --> 00:06:15.639 he is fighting like an absolute monster, he is 00:06:15.639 --> 00:06:18.639 also fighting like someone who is responsible 00:06:18.639 --> 00:06:22.959 for everybody else. And I really appreciated 00:06:22.959 --> 00:06:27.399 seeing that. It was very on brand for Yuta. From 00:06:27.399 --> 00:06:31.060 here though, the episode became this chain of 00:06:31.060 --> 00:06:35.600 exchanges where Uro's technique was keeping Yuta 00:06:35.600 --> 00:06:40.139 from landing any real hits. Ishigori keeps trying 00:06:40.139 --> 00:06:44.379 to overwhelm them with raw output. And our boy 00:06:44.379 --> 00:06:49.899 Yuta is just constantly adapting. It was just 00:06:49.899 --> 00:06:53.839 non -stop. I couldn't believe it. The Higuruma fight 00:09:11.220 --> 00:09:15.340 and the Reggie and Fushiguro fight were very 00:09:15.340 --> 00:09:19.769 dark. They were very heavy. This is more of a 00:09:19.769 --> 00:09:23.269 very high stakes fight. And I could feel a total 00:09:23.269 --> 00:09:27.490 shift in tone and energy throughout this whole 00:09:27.490 --> 00:09:34.769 episode. And what I also loved was Yuta can also 00:09:34.769 --> 00:09:40.710 shoot a condensed beam of cursed energy. So him 00:09:40.710 --> 00:09:46.059 and Ishigori are basically a good matchup. And 00:09:46.059 --> 00:09:48.100 I was very interested to see how their whole 00:09:48.100 --> 00:09:51.559 situation was going to play out. They ended up 00:09:51.559 --> 00:09:53.700 looking like they were having so much fun by 00:09:53.700 --> 00:09:58.899 the end. We had Yuta just smiling. And I still 00:09:58.899 --> 00:10:01.659 couldn't believe that Kurushi was still actually 00:10:01.659 --> 00:10:05.139 alive. And I mean, he ended up taking one of 00:10:05.139 --> 00:10:08.720 Uro's arms. Ishigori ends up seeing his opening 00:10:08.720 --> 00:10:12.980 and he takes it. He hits them with a blast that 00:10:12.980 --> 00:10:16.899 knocks Uro out. and also kills Kuro Ushi. But Yuta is dealing with enemies that 00:12:07.789 --> 00:12:11.269 he doesn't fully comprehend. And this is the 00:12:11.269 --> 00:12:15.690 final taste that the episode left in my mouth. 00:12:16.009 --> 00:12:20.190 Even when Yuta wins, the story is trying to tell 00:12:20.190 --> 00:12:24.309 me that the game is so much bigger than what 00:12:24.309 --> 00:12:28.509 I currently understand in this moment. Again, I was really confused 00:12:43.950 --> 00:12:47.409 by that. I'm still confused by that. Starting right off from the Yuji and Yuta 00:14:24.669 --> 00:14:27.929 fight, along with Choso and Naoa, that really 00:14:27.929 --> 00:14:32.389 set the tone for me for an opening season. Especially 00:14:32.389 --> 00:14:35.529 where we were given those two episodes right 00:14:35.529 --> 00:14:39.429 away, that was amazing for me.
