description to grab yours with that 3:31 being said let's get started if there's one word in the Lord's prayer that changes everything it's the very first Our Father in Heaven" – The Power of Calling God "Father 3:38 one father after breaking down what this prayer really is a battle plan a 3:46 strategy a connection to divine power the most important lesson we can take 3:51 from it is who we are praying to Jesus could have said our Lord or our King he 3:58 could have started with oh Almighty creator of the universe but instead he 4:04 deliberately chose to say our father that wasn't by accident that was 4:10 intentional many people struggle to relate to God because they see him as 4:15 distant Untouchable and impossible to please maybe that's how you feel 4:21 sometimes you believe in him but do you truly know him when you pray does it 4:28 feel like you're trying to get the attent attention of an all powerful ruler who might be too busy to listen or 4:34 do you speak to him as a child speaks to their loving father think about it if you are a 4:42 parent how do you feel when your child comes running to you not because they need something but because they just 4:48 want to be near you they crawl into your lap they hug you they just want to be 4:54 with you do you turn them away do you say I'm too busy or does your heart swell because that's exactly what you 5:01 want for your child to be close to you that's what God desires that's why Jesus 5:06 said our father for many people this word father is a difficult one maybe 5:12 your Earthly father was absent abusive or impossible to please maybe he wasn't 5:17 there at all and when you hear the word father it doesn't bring Comfort it brings pain but here's the truth God is 5:25 not like that he is not an imperfect flawed human he is the perfect father he 5:31 is not like your Earthly father he is everything your Earthly father should have been the enemy wants you to believe 5:40 that God is distant cold and uninterested that's the greatest 5:46 deception if Satan can convince you that God is hard to reach then he can keep 5:51 you from experiencing the power of this prayer but Jesus shattered that lie with 5:56 two simple words Our Father and then he adds something even deeper in heaven 6:03 when we say our father in Heaven we are declaring two things at once we are his 6:08 children this is a relationship not just a religious practice Heaven is our home 6:15 we are not just talking to some distant Cosmic Force we are connected to the king of heaven and that is where we 6:23 belong this is what makes prayer different from just wishing manifesting or hoping for good things 6:30 When you pray you are speaking to someone who loves you knows you and 6:35 already has a plan for you and this is exactly why Jesus told us to start our 6:42 prayers this way he was inviting us into a different way of thinking when you 6:47 come before God don't come as a beggar come as a son come as a 6:54 daughter because when you approach God as your father it changes how you pray 6:59 look at Jesus he called God father more than 150 times in the gospels he didn't 7:06 just teach us to say it he lived it in John 11:41 to 42 before raising Lazarus 7:14 from the dead Jesus began his Prayer by saying father I thank you that you have 7:20 heard me I know that you always hear me that's confidence that's the 7:25 relationship he wants you to have and when you understand the this your prayers will never be the same you won't 7:32 pray as someone who hopes God is listening you will pray as someone who knows he is you won't beg for God's 7:39 attention you will rest in the fact that you already have it this is where the power begins so the next time you say 7:47 our father in Heaven don't just say the words feel them mean them know what they 7:54 truly declare you are his child Heaven is your home and when you pray your 8:01 father is listening if calling God our Father changes the way we approach him "Hallowed Be Your Name" – Understanding God's Holiness 8:07 then what Jesus says next changes the way we see him Hallowed Be Your 8:13 Name how many times have you said those words without thinking about what they actually mean the word hallowed isn't 8:21 something we use in everyday conversation it means holy sacred set 8:27 apart but Jesus wasn't n't just teaching us to say that God's name is Holy he was 8:32 teaching us to live like it throughout the Bible names are more than just labels they represent identity Authority 8:41 and reputation this is why God's name is so important it is his very essence in 8:48 Exodus 3 when Moses asks God what is your name God answers I am who I am in 8:57 that moment God wasn't just giving Moses is a name to call him by he was declaring his eternal unchanging nature 9:05 when Jesus tells us to pray Hallowed Be Your Name he's reminding us that we are 9:11 speaking to the god whose name is above every name but here's what most people 9:16 miss this isn't just about saying God's name with respect it's about how we live 9:21 when we say Hallowed Be Your Name we're making a declaration God's name is Holy 9:28 so we must treat him as holy God's name is sacred so our lives must reflect that 9:35 sacredness this is where it gets real if you say Hallowed be your name but live 9:41 like God is just an option not a priority do you really mean it if you 9:46 call him Lord but ignore his commands are you truly honoring his name if your 9:53 words are filled with praise on Sunday but your actions deny him on Monday are you really hallowing his name Jesus 10:01 wasn't just teaching us a phrase he was calling us to a lifestyle think about the world we live in today God's name is 10:09 used in vain every single day in movies music and everyday speech people use the 10:16 name of the almighty like it's nothing but in scripture God's name is powerful 10:22 in the Old Testament the Israelites had such deep reverence for God's name that they wouldn't even speak it when the 10:30 scribes wrote kwh the name of God they would stop wash 10:35 their hands and pick up a new pen just to write it because it was that sacred 10:41 but today people say it without thinking some even mock it and here's the question are we different do we truly 10:48 live in a way that shows the world that God's name is set apart or do we blend 10:53 in treating him casually jesus' name is powerful in Philippians 2:9 to 11 it 11:00 says God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is 11:05 above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven 11:10 and on Earth and under the Earth and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is 11:16 Lord that is the power of His name it is not ordinary it is hallowed when Jesus 11:23 cast out demons he did it in his name when the disciples healed the sick they 11:28 did it in his his name when we pray we pray in his name so when we say Hallowed 11:35 Be Your Name we are making a commitment a commitment to honor his name in the way we speak a commitment to represent 11:43 his name in The Way We Live a commitment to reveal his name to a world that has 11:49 forgotten its power look at what's happening around us people don't just 11:54 ignore God anymore they oppose him his name is being raced from schools from 12:01 culture from public life the enemy knows that if he can remove the name of God he 12:07 can remove the fear of God but we are called to stand apart so when you pray 12:13 don't just say the words ask yourself does my life hallow God's name do I live 12:19 in a way that shows the world who he really is because when you truly understand what it means to say Hallowed 12:26 be your name you will never pray the same way again if praying Hallowed be "Your Kingdom Come" – Inviting God's Rule on Earth 12:33 your name is a commitment to honoring God's name then what Jesus says next is 12:38 even more radical your kingdom come at first glance this sounds like a simple 12:44 phrase a nice religious sentiment but if you truly understand what it means you'll realize this is a battlecry when 12:52 Jesus told us to pray your kingdom come he was teaching us to call for a complete shift in power a spiritual 13:00 takeover because the reality is there are two kingdoms at War right now the 13:05 kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world and the question is which one are 13:11 you building the kingdom of this world is easy to see it's all around us a 13:17 world obsessed with power money influence and self- Glory A system that 13:23 tells you to do whatever makes you happy no matter the cost a kingdom where truth 13:28 is whatever people want it to be where good is called evil and evil is called 13:34 good but the kingdom of God it's different in God's kingdom the first 13:40 will be last and the last will be first in God's kingdom The Humble are exalted 13:46 and the proud are brought low in God's Kingdom power isn't about domination 13:52 it's about servant Hood in God's kingdom the king died for his people instead of 13:57 demanding they die for him this is the kingdom Jesus told us to pray for but 14:03 here's the part most people Miss God's kingdom is not just a future reality it 14:09 is something we are called to bring into the world right now when Jesus came he 14:14 didn't just preach about heaven he preached about the kingdom he said repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at 14:20 hand Matthew 4:17 he cast out demons healed the sick 14:26 and forgave Sins Not Just to perform Miracles but to show what the kingdom of God looks like in action and now we are 14:35 called to do the same but here's the problem this most people don't actually want God's kingdom to come they want 14:41 their Kingdom to come they want their will their plans their desires to be fulfilled they want a comfortable 14:48 Kingdom a kingdom where God blesses their life but doesn't change their heart they want a kingdom where Jesus is 14:54 present but they still sit on the throne but Jesus didn't teach us to pray Lord 15:01 bless my kingdom he taught us to pray Your Kingdom Come This Means surrender 15:07 this means alignment with God's will not our own this means saying God take over 15:14 establish your rule in my life in my home in my city in this world It Means 15:20 War because the enemy does not want God's kingdom to come the moment you 15:25 start praying this prayer with understanding you become a th threat to the forces of Darkness you are asking 15:32 for God's rule to invade enemy territory you're asking for light to drive out 15:37 Darkness you're praying for a kingdom that will overthrow everything Satan has built look at the world today it is 15:45 proof that people are choosing the wrong Kingdom the division the deception the 15:50 corruption it's all evidence of a world that has rejected God's rule but Jesus 15:57 didn't tell us to sit back and wait for heaven he told us to pray for the kingdom to come and here's the question 16:05 are you willing to live in a way that brings his kingdom to Earth because praying Your Kingdom Come isn't just 16:13 about words it's about action it means being the hands and feet of Jesus it 16:19 means standing for truth in a world full of lies it means living in righteousness 16:25 even when culture promotes sin it means Walking In Love when the world is filled 16:30 with hate so when you pray don't just say the words ask yourself am I living 16:36 in a way that invites God's kingdom or am I just building my own because when 16:42 you truly understand what it means to say your kingdom come you will never 16:48 pray the same way again surrender that's where most people struggle when it comes "Your Will Be Done on Earth as It Is in Heaven" – Total Surrender 16:54 to prayer it's easy to ask God for what we want but it's another thing to say 16:59 not my will but yours be done this one 17:04 phrase your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven is one of the most powerful 17:11 yet challenging parts of the Lord's Prayer because in that moment we are not 17:16 just saying words we are choosing to trust God's plan over our own we are 17:23 acknowledging that his ways are higher even when we don't understand think 17:29 about it have you ever prayed for something so desperately believing with all your heart that it was the right 17:36 thing only for God to say no maybe you begged God to save a relationship but it 17:42 still ended maybe you prayed for a job and someone else got it maybe you asked 17:48 for healing but the suffering remained it's in those moments that this part of 17:54 the Lord's Prayer becomes real because surrender is not just about say saying 17:59 the words it's about trusting God when his answer is different from what we 18:04 wanted Jesus himself modeled this for us in the most intense moment of his life 18:12 In The Garden of Gethsemane the weight of the Cross pressed down on him he knew 18:18 what was coming the Betrayal the pain the humiliation the separation from the 18:24 father and he prayed father if you are willing take this cup from me yet not my 18:31 will but yours be done Luke 22:42 that prayer wasn't easy it wasn't 18:39 emotionless it was a battle but in that moment Jesus showed us what true 18:45 surrender looks like he trusted the father completely even when it led him 18:50 to the cross and this is where we have to ask ourselves are we truly praying 18:55 for God's will to be done or are we just hoping he'll do things our way it's a 19:01 tough question because surrender is hard it means laying down control it means 19:07 saying God even if this doesn't go how I want I trust you it means believing that 19:13 his plan is greater than what we can see right now look at the stories in 19:18 scripture Joseph was sold into slavery falsely accused and imprisoned he could 19:24 have given up thinking God had abandoned him but he didn't he trusted that God's 19:30 will was unfolding even through suffering and in the end he became second in command in Egypt saving 19:37 countless lives or think about Paul he had dreams of spreading the gospel 19:42 freely but instead he found himself beaten Shipwrecked and imprisoned yet in 19:48 those chains he wrote letters that would shape the entire Christian faith why 19:53 because he had surrendered his plans for God's greater purpose and now let's bring this to 20:00 today how often do we fight against God's will without even realizing it we 20:06 chase after things Force situations or get frustrated when life doesn't go our 20:11 way but when we truly pray your will be done we are handing God the pen and 20:18 saying write the story the way you see best and that is where true peace is 20:26 found so here's the challenge the next time you pray don't just say these words 20:31 mean them ask yourself do I really trust God enough to surrender my plans for his 20:37 because if we truly desire his will to be done on Earth as it is in heaven it 20:43 has to start with us there's a reason Jesus didn't say give us this month our "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread" – Trusting God for Provision 20:48 monthly bread or give us this year our yearly bread he said give us this day 20:54 our daily bread it's not just about food it's it's about dependence it's about 21:00 trust it's about breaking free from the illusion that we can sustain ourselves 21:06 without God this is where so many people struggle because in a world that tells 21:11 us to plan save and secure our future Jesus tells us to rely on God day by day 21:19 think about that for a moment how many times have you stayed up at night worrying about money about your job 21:26 about how you're going to provide for your family the anxiety that Creeps in when you 21:31 don't know what's next that's why this part of the prayer is so powerful 21:37 because Jesus is calling us to shift our mindset to stop obsessing over what we 21:42 don't have and start trusting the one who has always provided look at the Israelites in the wilderness God gave 21:50 them Mana from Heaven every single day but there was one condition they could 21:55 only collect what they needed for that day if they tried to store up extra it 22:00 would rot why because God was teaching them daily dependence he was teaching 22:06 them that their provision didn't come from their own hands it came from him 22:12 and that's the same lesson Jesus is teaching us through this prayer but let's be real this is hard everything in 22:19 US wants security we want to know that we're set for the next 5 10 20 years we 22:26 want the guarantee that we'll never never have to struggle and yet Jesus tells us to ask for Daily Bread not 22:34 because God doesn't want us to plan but because he wants us to trust and this 22:40 goes beyond money what about emotional strength how often do we try to store up 22:45 enough peace to carry us through the week only to find ourselves drained by Wednesday Jesus is saying come to me 22:54 every day ask me for what you need to day I will give you the strength the 23:01 wisdom the patience and the provision you need one day at a 23:07 time look at how Jesus lived he didn't carry a stash of gold he didn't worry 23:12 about where his next meal would come from he relied on the father completely setting an example for us and the truth 23:20 is when we start living this way trusting God daily rather than hoarding 23:26 up resources for security we experience of Freedom that the world can't offer 23:32 because anxiety Fades when we realize we are in the hands of a faithful provider 23:39 now think about today's culture the pressure to achieve the obsession with wealth the constant worry about the 23:46 future it's exhausting but Jesus is saying let it go ask for what you need 23:53 today trust me to handle tomorrow so here's the challenge 23:59 what would change in your life if you truly believed that God would provide for you daily if you stopped living in 24:04 fear of the future and started trusting him in the present if you really lived 24:10 as though the God who fed the Israelites Who provided for Elijah through Ravens 24:15 who multiplied bread and fish was the same God watching over you right now 24:22 because he is so the next time you pray this part of the Lord's Prayer don't just say the words Fe heal them let them 24:29 break your dependence on money on your job on your own ability to make things 24:35 happen because true peace comes not from having everything figured out but from 24:40 knowing that your father in Heaven never fails to give you exactly what you need 24:46 and if you believe that then today's worries don't stand a chance if asking for Daily Bread teaches us dependence on "Forgive Us Our Debts, As We Forgive Our Debtors" – The Key to Freedom 24:54 God asking for forgiveness teaches us something just is lifechanging how to 25:00 break free free from guilt free from bitterness free from the chains that 25:07 keep us stuck in the past but here's the part that makes this prayer so radical 25:13 Jesus doesn't just tell us to ask for forgiveness he tells us to forgive others in the same way we want to be 25:20 forgiven and that's where most people struggle because it's easy to say God forgive me it's much harder to say God 25:27 help me for forgive them but Jesus ties these two together in a way that we 25:32 can't ignore think about it have you ever felt distant from God but couldn't 25:38 quite figure out why maybe you were praying reading your Bible even going to 25:43 church but something felt off Jesus gives us the answer right here 25:49 unforgiveness blocks us from experiencing the fullness of God's mercy it hardens our hearts distorts our 25:56 prayers and keeps us trapped in a cycle of pain Jesus made this clear in Matthew 26:04 61415 when he said for if you forgive other people when they sin against you 26:10 your heavenly father will also forgive you but if you do not forgive others 26:15 their sins your father will not forgive your sins that's a terrifying reality it 26:22 means that if we hold on to resentment we are cutting ourselves off from the Forgiveness we desperately 26:29 need look at the parable of the unmerciful servant in Matthew 18 a man 26:35 owed an unpayable debt to a king and the king in his Mercy forgave it all but 26:42 what did the man do he immediately turned around and refused to forgive someone who owed him just a small amount 26:50 when the king found out he threw the man into prison saying shouldn't you have 26:56 had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you this is exactly what happens when we 27:03 refuse to forgive we have been forgiven and immeasurable debt every sin every 27:09 failure every moment of rebellion against God and yet we so often hold on 27:14 to Petty offenses we say but they hurt me but they don't deserve it but they 27:20 haven't even apologized but did we deserve forgiveness did we come to God perfectly 27:27 cleaned up apologizing for every sin before he chose to send Jesus number 27:33 Romans 58 tells us that while we were still sinners Christ died for us that 27:40 means we forgive not because people deserve it but because we didn't deserve it either and let's be clear this 27:46 doesn't mean pretending that what they did was okay it doesn't mean allowing 27:51 toxic people back into your life it doesn't mean ignoring pain it means 27:57 releasing them handing them over to God saying I I refuse to let this bitterness 28:03 take root in me I refuse to let their actions control my heart and here's the 28:09 beautiful part forgiveness doesn't just set them free it sets you free studies 28:16 even show that holding on to bitterness increases stress damages your immune system and leads to depression meanwhile 28:24 those who forgive experience greater peace Better Health and even longer life 28:30 expectancy but Jesus knew this long before science did that's why he made 28:36 forgiveness a central part of prayer now let's talk about the other 28:41 side If we're honest sometimes we are the ones who need forgiveness not just 28:47 from God but from others we've hurt people said things we shouldn't have 28:52 made mistakes and just as we want God's mercy we need need to be humble enough 28:59 to seek reconciliation when possible so here's the question who do you need to 29:05 forgive maybe it's someone from years ago a parent a friend a spouse maybe 29:11 it's yourself or maybe you need to ask for forgiveness from someone else 29:17 because Jesus makes it clear we cannot separate receiving God's forgiveness 29:23 from giving it if we want our prayers to be powerful if we want to to walk in 29:28 true Freedom we must let go of the chains of bitterness so when you pray 29:34 this part of the Lord's Prayer don't just say the words mean them let them change you and if God brings a name to 29:42 your heart don't ignore it forgiveness isn't easy but it is necessary and when 29:49 you finally release that weight you'll realize it wasn't just holding them 29:54 captive it was holding you and God never intended for you to live that way if "Lead Us Not Into Temptation" – Spiritual Warfare in Prayer 30:01 forgiveness sets us free from the chains of the past this next part of the Lord's 30:06 Prayer prepares us for the battles ahead Jesus tells us to pray lead us not into 30:13 temptation but have you ever wondered why would God lead us into temptation in 30:18 the first place some people struggle with this line because it sounds like we're asking God not to do something he 30:26 might otherwise do but that's not what Jesus meant the Bible is clear James 30:33 1:13 tells us God cannot be tempted by evil nor does he tempt anyone so why did 30:39 Jesus include this in his prayer because temptation is a reality and he was 30:44 teaching us to stay spiritually alert temptation is not a possibility it 30:50 is a guarantee every single person faces it even Jesus himself was tempted in the 30:57 wilderness by Satan in Matthew 4 but while Temptation itself is not a sin 31:02 giving in to it is that's why Jesus is showing us how to pray for protection 31:08 before we even step into the battle think about it how often do people fall 31:14 into sin into addiction into bad choices because they weren't on guard they 31:20 weren't praying against Temptation they were just hoping they'd be strong enough in the moment but Jesus is teaching us 31:28 that we don't wait until Temptation comes to start fighting we ask God to guide us in a way that helps us avoid it 31:35 all together and this is where Spiritual Warfare comes in because temptation is 31:42 not just about human weakness it is a strategy a setup the enemy studies us he 31:49 knows our patterns our weaknesses are blind spots he doesn't waste time 31:54 tempting us with things we don't care about he tempts us with the very things we struggle with most that's why Jesus 32:02 tells us to pray this daily because whether you realize it or not there is a 32:07 battle over your mind your Purity your focus your integrity and without 32:14 spiritual protection you are walking straight into enemy territory unarmed 32:19 look at Peter before Jesus was arrested he warned Peter Satan has asked to sift 32:26 you like wheat but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail Luke 32:34 2231 to 32 Jesus didn't tell Peter to just be strong he covered him in prayer 32:40 but what did Peter do he relied on his own strength he ignored jesus' warning 32:46 and when Temptation came he denied Jesus three times but contrast that with Joseph in Genesis 32:52 39 when Piper's wife tried to seduce him he didn't sit there and bait he didn't 32:59 try to resist in his own strength he ran he removed himself from the Temptation 33:05 immediately this is the difference between those who fall and those who 33:10 stand the ones who stand don't just pray after they fall they pray before they 33:16 are even in danger they stay ahead of the attack they ask God not just for 33:21 strength to resist but for wisdom to avoid and here's something powerful 1 33:26 Corinthians 10:13 says God is faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond 33:32 what you can bear but when you are tempted he will also provide a way out 33:37 that means there is always an escape no matter what you face God always provides a way out but we have to take it so how 33:45 do we live out this part of the Lord's Prayer first we must stay alert first 33:51 Peter 58 tells us be sober minded and watchful your adversary the devil prowls 33:57 around like a roaring lion looking for someone to Devour the enemy is always watching for an opportunity so we cannot 34:04 afford to live carelessly second we must guard our influences Temptation often 34:11 comes through what we allow in our minds through entertainment relationships 34:16 conversations if you're struggling with lust but watching impure content you're 34:21 feeding the very thing you're praying against if you're praying for patience but surrounding yourself with toxic 34:27 people people you're making it harder to resist anger and third we must run to 34:33 God not just away from sin too many people try to resist temptation In Their 34:38 Own Strength but the key is Not Just resisting it's replacing James 4:7 says 34:46 submit to God resist the devil and he will flee from you notice the order 34:52 first submit to God then resist you don't just fight sin 34:58 you fill yourself with something stronger so the question is are you just reacting to Temptation or are you 35:05 praying against it before it comes are you staying spiritually alert or are you 35:11 walking into the enemy's traps without armor Jesus gave us this part of the prayer for a reason because temptation 35:18 is real the battle is real and if we do not prepare we will fall but the good 35:26 news God has already given us the weapons we need to win the question is 35:33 will we use them if Jesus tells us to pray against Temptation then this next "But Deliver Us From Evil" – Calling on God for Protection 35:39 part of the Lord's Prayer takes it even further but Deliver Us from Evil not 35:45 just avoiding sin but calling on God's power to rescue us from it this is not 35:51 just a prayer for protection it is a declaration of war because evil is not 35:57 an IDE idea it is not just a concept evil is real and whether we acknowledge 36:03 it or not we are in a battle every single day think about it why would 36:09 Jesus include this if it weren't necessary why would he teach us to pray 36:14 for deliverance if there weren't real forces at work trying to pull us away from God Ephesians 6:12 makes it clear for we 36:23 do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against rulers against authorities against the cosmic Powers 36:30 over this present Darkness against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places in other words the real fight is 36:38 not what we see it's what we don't see the battles we face in our minds in our 36:45 families in our struggles are not just physical issues they have spiritual 36:51 roots and yet how often do we try to fight these battles on our own we try to 36:56 overcome addiction through willpower we try to fix broken relationships with 37:02 logic we try to break out of depression or anxiety by just thinking positive but 37:07 Jesus knew better that's why he told us to pray this daily because Deliverance 37:13 is not something we achieve by Our Own Strength it is something God does when we call on him look at Peter in Luke 22 37:23 31-32 Jesus warned him Simon Simon Satan has asked to sift you like wheat 37:30 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail notice what Jesus said he didn't say Peter just try harder 37:39 he didn't say Peter figure it out yourself he said I have prayed for you 37:45 because the only way Peter could withstand the enemy's attack was through the power of God and yet Peter Still 37:52 tried to rely on himself he told Jesus Lord I am ready to go with you to prison 37:59 and to death but hours later he denied Jesus three times this is what happens 38:07 when we fight spiritual battles with human strength we fail but now contrast 38:13 that with the people of Israel in Exodus 14 when they were trapped at the Red Sea 38:19 with Pharaoh's Army behind them they had no weapons no strategy no way out and 38:26 Moses told them the Lord will fight for you you need only to be still and what happened God 38:33 parted the sea he delivered them this is what Jesus is teaching Us in this prayer 38:40 Deliverance is not something we achieve it is something we receive it is God 38:45 stepping in when we call on him and this applies to every area of Our Lives 38:51 struggling with addiction you don't just need more self-control you need Deliverance Fighting Fear anxiety 38:59 depression you don't just need good advice you need Divine rescue feeling 39:05 trapped in cycles of sin you don't just need to try harder you need the power of 39:10 God to break those chains this is why the enemy works so hard to keep us from 39:15 praying because he knows that when we call on God for deliverance chains break 39:20 strongholds collapse Darkness flees Psalm 515 says call on me in the day of 39:26 trouble I will deliver you and you will honor me this is not just a nice idea it 39:34 is a promise so how do we live this out first we must recognize that we need 39:40 God's power every single day Deliverance is not a one-time thing it is a daily 39:47 dependence on him second we must stop fighting alone there is a reason Jesus 39:54 said when you pray say Deliver Us from evil not just deliver me but us because 40:01 we are not meant to fight in isolation we need a community of Believers praying 40:06 for each other standing in the gap for one another and third we must trust that 40:12 God is already working on our behalf sometimes Deliverance is instant other 40:18 times it is a process but either way God is faithful so the question is are you 40:25 trying to fight alone or are you called calling on God for deliverance because 40:30 the battles you're facing are bigger than you but the god you serve is greater than every attack of the enemy 40:37 and when you pray Deliver Us from Evil you are not just speaking words you are calling on the very power of Heaven to 40:44 fight for you and that changes everything if asking God for deliverance "For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory Forever" – Declaring Victory 40:49 is calling on his power then this final line of the Lord's Prayer is the ultimate Declaration of that power for 40:57 yours is the kingdom the power and the glory 41:02 forever it is not just a closing phrase it is a Battle Cry a proclamation of 41:08 Victory a reminder that no matter what happens no matter what battles we fight 41:14 god reigns Supreme Jesus did not teach us to end 41:19 this prayer with fear doubt or uncertainty he did not say for I hope 41:24 you will help me or for maybe you have control he taught us to end in 41:30 confidence for yours is the kingdom the power and the glory Forever This is a 41:36 statement of certainty a declaration that despite what we see despite what we 41:42 feel God's Reign is eternal this is critical because prayer is not just 41:48 about asking it is about aligning aligning our hearts with God's truth 41:54 aligning our perspective with his reality and when we end in worship when 41:59 we Proclaim his authority we are shifting our Focus from our problems to 42:06 his power think about how different your prayers would be if they ended this way 42:12 instead of finishing with God I don't know what to do you would end with but yours is the kingdom meaning I don't 42:21 have control but you do instead of finishing with Lord I feel so weak you 42:27 would end with but yours is the power meaning I may not have strength but you 42:34 do instead of finishing with God I'm scared of what's coming you would end 42:39 with but yours is the glory forever meaning this world is temporary but your 42:45 Reign is eternal this is exactly what king Jehoshaphat did in 2 Chronicles 20 42:53 when his enemies were closing in when it looked like defeat was in inevitable what did he do he prayed he 43:02 acknowledged that he had no power of his own but then instead of panicking he ended with worship the entire Army of 43:10 Judah praised God before the battle was even won and what happened God caused 43:15 their enemies to turn against each other and Judah didn't even have to fight because the battle was never theirs it 43:23 was the Lord's this is what Jesus was teaching the the prayer does not end with us 43:28 begging it ends with us declaring declaring that God already Reigns 43:34 declaring that his power is already greater than our struggles declaring that no matter what happens he has the 43:41 final Victory and this is so important because we live in a world that tries to 43:47 convince us that God is not in control that darkness is winning that chaos is 43:55 reigning but when we pray thee these words we push back against that lie we 44:00 remind our souls of the truth the kingdom is his the power is his the glory is his 44:06 forever so how do we live this out first we must learn to end every prayer in 44:12 faith no matter what you are going through declare God's sovereignty end with confidence not uncertainty second 44:20 we must remember that Victory does not always look like we expect sometimes God 44:25 delivers instantly sometimes he works through the process but either way he 44:30 reigns and third we must let this truth shape how we live if we truly believe 44:36 his is the kingdom the power and the glory then why do we live in fear why do 44:42 we hesitate to trust why do we let circumstances Shake us because if we 44:47 really believe this then it changes everything when you walk into a difficult situation you don't walk in 44:54 defeated you walk in knowing that that God's kingdom is unshakable when you face a battle that 45:01 feels too big for you you don't shrink back you stand firm knowing that God's 45:07 power is greater when the world tries to convince you that darkness is winning 45:13 you don't lose hope you remind yourself that his glory is Forever This is why 45:19 Jesus ended the prayer this way it is not just a closing line it is a 45:25 declaration it is the final word over every circumstance every battle every 45:31 fear for yours is the kingdom the power and the glory forever no matter what 45:36 happens in this world no matter what you face in your life God Reigns and that is 45:43 why we pray if we understand what Jesus was teaching then this prayer is not What This Prayer Means for Us Today 45:49 just something we say it is something we live the most important lesson we got 45:55 from going through the Lord's Prayer is this prayer is not about changing God's 46:00 mind it's about changing us think about that how often do we pray as if we are 46:08 trying to convince God to do something as if we need to persuade him to care about our needs but Jesus didn't give us 46:15 a prayer of persuasion he gave us a prayer of alignment a prayer that when prayed with understanding reshapes our 46:23 priorities refocuses our hearts and reenters our faith on God's power not 46:28 our problems this is why Jesus didn't teach his disciples to pray for their 46:34 kingdoms to grow for their will to be done for their success to come he taught 46:40 them to pray first for God's kingdom first for his will first for his 46:45 presence because when we pray like this we are no longer just asking God to change our circumstances we are asking 46:52 him to change us so how do we apply this prayer in our daily lives first we must 46:58 approach prayer differently prayer is not a monologue it's a conversation too 47:04 often we treat prayer like a checklist we say our part list our requests and 47:09 then move on but what if we prayed the way Jesus taught what if we started by 47:14 acknowledging God's presence what if we truly hallowed his name sat in awe of 47:20 who he is before we ever asked for anything what if we took time to listen 47:26 instead of just speaking second we must live out what we pray if we pray your 47:32 will be done then we must surrender our own we cannot pray for God's Will and 47:39 then refuse to follow it we cannot ask for Daily Bread while still worrying about tomorrow we cannot ask for 47:46 forgiveness while holding on to bitterness and third we must let this prayer shape how we see the world every 47:55 part of this prayer challenges is the way Society teaches us to think the 48:00 world tells us to be self-sufficient Jesus tells us to rely on the Father the 48:06 world tells us to build our own kingdoms Jesus tells us to seek God's first the 48:12 world tells us to demand Justice Jesus tells us to forgive this is why the 48:18 Lord's Prayer is so powerful it is not just words it is a lifestyle and if we 48:25 truly live it out it will change everything imagine what would happen if 48:30 we stopped praying for our own agendas and started praying for God's kingdom to come imagine if we stopped trying to 48:38 control everything and instead trusted God's daily provision imagine if we 48:43 truly forgave others the way we expect God to forgive us imagine if we stopped 48:49 fighting spiritual battles in our own strength and instead called on God to 48:55 Deliver Us from Evil this prayer is an invitation an invitation to live differently to think 49:03 differently to trust differently so the real question is are we truly praying 49:09 the way Jesus taught or have we been reciting words without understanding their weight because once you understand 49:17 it once you truly grasp the depth of what Jesus was teaching you will never 49:23 pray the same way again you will never approach God the same way again and you 49:29 will realize that the Lord's Prayer is not just something we repeat it is the battlecry of those who live by faith if Conclusion 49:36 the Lord's Prayer has taught us anything it's that prayer was never meant to be just a habit it was meant to be a weapon 49:44 a strategy a Lifeline to the father but for so many of us prayer has become 49:51 routine something we say because we were taught to without ever realizing ing the 49:57 power behind it the most important lesson we got from going through the Lord's Prayer is this prayer is not just 50:05 about speaking it's about surrendering think about that Jesus 50:10 didn't give his disciples a prayer to Simply repeat he gave them a model a 50:15 blueprint for how to pray in a way that shifts the atmosphere aligns their 50:21 hearts with God's Will and prepares them for Spiritual battle this prayer was 50:26 meant to change us not just be recited out of obligation so the real question is are 50:33 you just reciting words or are you truly praying because there's a difference 50:40 when we pray Our Father in Heaven do we actually pause to recognize that we are 50:46 speaking to the creator of the universe yet he calls us his children when we say 50:52 Hallowed Be Your Name do we mean it do we actually honor his name in The Way We 50:59 Live the way we speak the way we think when we pray your kingdom come your will 51:06 be done do we truly want his will or are we secretly hoping he will bless our 51:11 plans instead what about give us this day our daily bread are we really trusting God 51:18 for today or are we so consumed with worrying about tomorrow that we don't even recognize his provision in the 51:25 present and when we say forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors do we 51:30 really want that because if we're honest some of us are still holding on to 51:35 grudges still clinging to offenses still refusing to extend the same Mercy we are 51:41 desperately asking from God these are not just words this is a battlecry a 51:47 declaration of dependence on God a surrender to his will a commitment to 51:53 live differently so let's make this personal which part of the Lord's Prayer 51:58 Will you pray differently after today maybe for you it's surrendering your 52:03 will to God instead of trying to control everything maybe it's learning to trust 52:09 him for daily provision instead of being consumed with fear about the future 52:15 maybe it's the call to forgive to finally let go of that bitterness that has been poisoning your soul for far too 52:23 long or maybe just maybe the biggest shift shft in your prayer life will come 52:28 when you stop treating this as a ritual and start praying it with expectation with understanding with 52:36 faith because once you truly grasp the depth of this prayer you will never pray 52:41 the same way again and that is the challenge to stop just saying this 52:46 prayer and start living it so as we close I want you to reflect are you just 52:52 reciting words or are you truly praying because the difference between those two 52:59 things will determine how much power your prayers actually carry if there's Final Prayer – Praying the Lord's Prayer With Power 53:04 one thing we've learned from The Lord's Prayer it's that this isn't just a collection of words it's a road map a 53:11 battle plan a declaration of dependence on God and now as we close we aren't 53:19 just going to talk about this prayer we are going to pray it the way Jesus 53:24 intended with power without understanding with faith so wherever you are right now pause still your heart let 53:33 these words sink in not just into your mind but into your soul Our Father in 53:39 Heaven God we come before you as your children not as orphans not as strangers 53:45 but as Sons and Daughters of the most high you are not distant you are not 53:50 unreachable you are our father and we trust you Hallowed Be Your Name Lord we 53:55 honor you we declare That You Are Holy that your name is above every name May 54:01 Our Lives reflect that Holiness May the way we speak think and act bring glory 54:06 to your name not dishonor your kingdom come your will be done on Earth as it is 54:12 in heaven father we surrender not our will but yours let your kingdom rule in 54:19 our lives in our homes in our cities let your righteousness transform us we don't just want to pray about your kingdom we 54:26 want to live it give us this day our daily bread Lord we trust you for today 54:32 not just for food but for every need provision wisdom strength peace teach us 54:39 to stop obsessing over the future and to see how you are providing for us in this very moment forgive us our debts as we 54:47 forgive our debtors God we ask for your mercy we have sinned we have fallen 54:54 short but just as you forgive us we choose right now to forgive those who 55:00 have wronged us even the ones who don't deserve it even the ones who haven't 55:06 apologized we release it we let it go because your forgiveness is greater lead 55:14 us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil father we need your strength 55:20 the enemy prows like a lion waiting to destroy temptation is everywhere but we 55:26 know you have already made a way out keep us from falling guard our hearts our minds our families cover us with 55:34 your protection for yours is the kingdom the power and the glory forever Lord you 55:40 Reign no matter what happens in this world no matter what struggles we face 55:45 you are on the throne our hope is in you our trust is in you and we will praise 55:51 you today tomorrow and forever and if you prayed that with an open heart heart you didn't just recite a prayer you just 56:00 activated it so from now on when you pray the Lord's Prayer don't just say it 56:05 mean it let it transform your life let it shift the way you think the way you
