It is claiming 00:05:17.750 --> 00:05:20.910 to give you the mind and perspective of the God 00:05:20.910 --> 00:05:24.589 who made the elephant, the blind man, the village, 00:05:24.850 --> 00:05:28.750 India, and the entire universe. It tells a unified 00:05:28.750 --> 00:05:31.790 story about the personal, loving, triune God. 00:05:32.009 --> 00:05:34.550 The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who created 00:05:34.550 --> 00:05:37.470 everything out of nothing, intentionally, not 00:05:37.470 --> 00:05:41.269 by cosmic accident. It presents him stepping 00:06:06.579 --> 00:06:09.579 into history in the person of Jesus Christ, not 00:06:09.579 --> 00:06:12.459 just as a teacher, but as a rescuer. Does it 00:06:50.089 --> 00:06:52.329 correctly diagnose what's wrong with us? Does 00:06:52.329 --> 00:06:55.589 it offer a real cure or just spiritual painkillers 00:06:55.589 --> 00:06:58.610 and distractions? Some of these systems may echo 00:06:58.610 --> 00:07:01.709 partial truths about conscience, justice, suffering, 00:07:01.850 --> 00:07:04.910 or the emptiness of selfishness. But whenever 00:07:04.910 --> 00:07:07.550 they contradict God's clear revelation in scripture, 00:07:07.850 --> 00:07:10.689 they miss the mark precisely where it matters 00:07:10.689 --> 00:07:14.009 most. If you misdiagnose the disease, if you 00:07:14.009 --> 00:07:17.110 call the problem ignorance or attachment or bad 00:07:17.110 --> 00:07:20.430 karma instead of sin against a holy God, then 00:07:20.430 --> 00:07:23.540 your solution will always be off target. You 00:07:23.540 --> 00:07:27.019 can meditate, do rituals, pursue secret knowledge, 00:07:27.339 --> 00:07:30.839 optimize your supposed next rebirth. But if the 00:07:30.839 --> 00:07:34.560 root issue is guilt before your creator, none 00:07:34.560 --> 00:07:37.720 of that is going to fix the real problem. Who is God, personal or impersonal? 00:07:43.500 --> 00:07:46.839 One, many, holy or just impersonal energy? Did 00:07:46.839 --> 00:07:49.399 the world have a beginning? Was it created? Is 00:07:49.399 --> 00:07:52.230 it eternal? Is it an illusion?
