0:00 Following a tumultuous and one-sided 0:02 breakup, Melinda Vasilia found it 0:04 impossible to escape her ex-boyfriend, 0:06 Aga, her son. The two would eventually 0:08 meet for closure, with the evening 0:10 turning into tragedy of the highest 0:12 level. But after friends found Melinda's 0:14 lifeless body, Arager was nowhere to be 0:16 found. Shortly after this, posts made by 0:19 the man on the run began to appear all 0:21 over Reddit and Instagram, with some of 0:23 his messages triggering outrage amongst 0:26 thousands of readers. But despite his 0:28 brazen behavior, officers were not able 0:30 to stop him from crossing the border 0:32 into the US. It would take months to 0:35 finally track him down, ending in an 0:37 intense trial that left a fatigued and 0:39 devastated family further shattered. But 0:42 what were the details that got us here? 0:44 This video looks at the horrific 0:45 behavior of Aga Hassan, his turbulent 0:48 time on the run, and the devastation 0:50 that was left behind from his foul 0:52 actions. 0:55 Welcome, or welcome back to Coffee House 0:57 Crime, folks. Kitchener 1:41 Welcome to Kitchener, folks. Located 1:44 near the southern tip of Canada's 1:45 province of Ontario, Kitchener is a 1:47 stones throw away from Ontario's capital 1:49 city, Toronto. With a population of just 1:52 over a quarter of a million people, it 1:54 was known as Berlin for many years 1:56 before officially changing its name in 1:58 1916. But despite the change in its 2:00 identity, it did not hold the city's 2:02 close connection to its German heritage. 2:05 And to this day, it still continues to 2:07 play host to the largest Oktoberfest 2:09 celebration in the world outside of 2:11 Germany. Museums and art shows are a 2:13 plenty here, so it is well situated for 2:15 the culturally inclined. But if that's 2:18 not your thing, many parks await to be 2:20 visited alongside hundreds of slopes to 2:22 shred if skiing and snowboarding is more 2:24 your kind of scene. Maybe it's the 2:26 festive spirit in me, but it feels like 2:28 fun awaits you around every corner here. 2:31 And no matter what your taste, you will 2:33 find something to entertain you. But 2:35 sadly, these lands also hold some dark 2:38 memories. In April of 2016, in a field 2:41 just 60 mi southwest of Kitchener, a 2:43 farmer came across the gruesome 2:45 discovery of eight bodies. It turns out 2:47 that these eight men belonged to one of 2:49 the local gangs which had been at war 2:51 with another gang in the area. Now, I 2:54 won't go into the details of this case, 2:56 but this tragedy left eight families 2:58 mourning in what could have been an 3:00 entirely avoidable incident. And in 3:02 short, all of it boiled down to what the 3:04 judge described as meth logic, just out 3:07 of curiosity. But if you are interested 3:09 in hearing more about this story, then 3:11 please let me know below. Melinda Vasilije & Ager Hasan 3:14 Anyway, beginning our story today, it's 3:17 in the city of Kitchener that we find 3:19 Melinda Vicilia. Melinda June Vicasilia 3:21 was born on June the 28th, 1994 to her 3:24 mother Anna Todorovik and her father who 3:26 wishes to remain unnamed in the media 3:28 and to complete the family of four. She 3:31 also grew up alongside her sister 3:32 Christina. Although not much is known 3:34 about her childhood, Melinda was known 3:36 to be a bright young woman who is 3:37 loving, honest, forgiving, and kind. She 3:40 was also known to have the loudest laugh 3:42 in the room and apparently one that was 3:44 highly contagious. She was a humble 3:46 woman with nurturing plans. She wanted 3:48 to become a hairdresser one day and 3:50 eventually marry and have kids whenever 3:52 she met the right man. Many of us come 3:54 to such aspirations eventually. Me 3:56 personally, I would eventually like 3:58 kids, but for now, I'm happy just being 4:00 a full-time catad. For Melinda though, 4:02 she knew she wanted kids from a very 4:04 young age. And perhaps she was hoping 4:06 for such a thing when she met a man 4:08 named Agger Hassan. Now Aar was a 4:11 resident of Hamilton, Ontario, and was 4:13 of Iraqi descent. His parents had moved 4:16 to Canada from Iraq to escape the 4:17 Kurdish genocide, starting a new life in 4:20 North America. Melinda and Ara 4:22 immediately clicked when they met. A 4:24 friendship was very quick to blossom 4:26 between them, and it wasn't long before 4:28 they became romantically involved, too. 4:30 As most relationships tend to go, it all 4:32 began idyllically. But over the space of 4:35 just a few months, and at this early 4:37 stage, cracks suddenly began to form. To 4:40 begin with, it was things like arguing, 4:42 bickering, and disagreeing, the usual 4:44 suspects. But over time, those issues 4:46 became more concerning. As the 4:48 relationship approached his first year 4:50 anniversary, their difficulties would 4:52 come to a head to the point where 4:53 Melinda made the decision to end things 4:55 with Argo. The arguments were beginning 4:57 to get out of control, and deep down, 5:00 Melinda knew that there was no viable 5:02 future to be had with him. Too much 5:04 hostility had grown, and it was sadly 5:06 time to move on. But unfortunately, Ara 5:09 did not take this decision well. 5:13 Soon after this, Ara broke into 5:15 Melinda's home through a patio door. 5:17 Unfortunately for Ara, though, both her 5:19 roommate's brother and boyfriend were in 5:21 at the time, and let me tell you, they 5:23 were not pleased. Amidst the tense 5:25 confrontation, police were called to the 5:27 property where they then arrested Ara. 5:29 He was eventually charged with two 5:31 counts of assault and one count of 5:33 breaking and entering. He was later 5:34 released on the condition that he would 5:36 not approach or contact Melinda. But in 5:38 typical Ara fashion, this was another 5:40 thing he refused to accept. He continued 5:43 to barrage with messages on a very 5:45 regular basis. But despite Melinda 5:47 leaving most of these messages 5:48 unanswered, he doubled down and became 5:51 more emotionally riled. Despite the 5:53 tense situation, it was clear that there 5:55 was still a lot to address and close off 5:57 between the two of them. And so on that 5:59 note, Melinda agreed to meet up with him 6:02 in order to figure out how to move 6:04 forward. But you see, even this detail 6:07 had issues. Although she felt like this 6:09 was something that needed to happen in 6:11 order to move on, it was clear that she 6:13 was still concerned for her safety to 6:15 the extent that she asked her roommate 6:16 Anna, another friend, and her sister to 6:19 be in the same house when he came over, 6:21 just in case things weren't pear-shaped. April 27th, 2017 6:23 The night in question here was April the 6:25 27th, 2017. It was during this evening 6:28 that the group waited for him to arrive, 6:30 but strangely, he never actually showed 6:34 up. With the evening dragging on, 6:36 Melinda allowed her friends and sister 6:38 to carry on with their original plans, 6:40 that being to head out to a local club. 6:42 By the time the group had arrived back 6:44 home at the apartment, it was just after 6:46 midnight, meaning that the date had just 6:49 progressed to April the 28th. But upon 6:51 entering the apartment, the first thing 6:53 that they noticed were shoes that they 6:55 knew belonged to Aga, sitting just 6:57 outside of Melinda's bedroom. And in 6:59 addition to this, they could also hear 7:01 the sound of two people talking inside. 7:03 Melinda's friends shouted out to her to 7:05 ask her if she was okay, in which 7:07 Melinda replied yes. And after feeling 7:09 satisfied that there were no indications 7:11 that anything was wrong, they texted her 7:13 to ask if she wanted some food since 7:15 they themselves were planning to head 7:17 out soon. Melinda replied that she was 7:19 fine and didn't feel hungry, and so 7:21 relatively comfortable that she and Argo 7:23 were okay to be alone, the group left 7:25 the apartment to grab a bite. By the 7:28 time they returned home, the time had 7:29 just passed 2:30 in the morning. And 7:32 when they eventually walked back into 7:33 the house, they were met with a sight 7:35 that would haunt them for the rest of 7:37 their lives. 7:40 Melinda was lying on the ground, 7:43 surrounded by a pool of her own blood. 7:45 Two bloody knives lay by her side. She 7:48 had been stabbed multiple times, and 7:50 tragically, it was clear that she was 7:53 already dead. In a state of panic, the 7:55 group frantically knocked on the door of 7:57 a nearby neighbor. And after checking 7:58 for vital signs on the phone with 8:00 emergency services, they couldn't find a 8:03 pulse. The arrival of emergency services 8:05 would only confirm what they could 8:07 already see. Tragically, Melinda was 8:09 dead. And as it turns out, she'd been 8:12 stabbed a horrifying 47 times. It was 8:15 obvious to everyone who was responsible 8:17 for this. Ara was already known to the 8:20 police, had previously broken in, was 8:22 the last person to have seen Melinda, 8:24 and had already proven himself to be 8:25 violent. And the spotlight shone even 8:28 brighter on him when they realized that 8:29 Arga was nowhere to be found. He had 8:32 simply vanished into the night, leaving 8:34 a devastating crime scene behind. As 8:37 outrage and pain ripped through the 8:38 community, the police made it their 8:40 number one priority to try and track him 8:42 down. But despite their best efforts, 8:44 Arga was nowhere to be found. And it 8:47 soon became apparent that if Arga was 8:49 responsible for Melinda's murder, he 8:51 didn't plan to hang around in Canada to 8:53 explain. Finding Ager (Online posts) 8:55 Although a surveillance camera had 8:57 captured him and the car he was using on 8:59 the night Melinda was killed, he was 9:01 captured a second time when swapping out 9:03 the license plates in a parking lot 9:04 after crossing the border. And with this 9:07 information, it wouldn't take the 9:08 authorities long after this to pinpoint 9:10 the exact time and place where he left 9:12 Canada. At around 6:00 a.m. of the same 9:15 morning of Melinda's murder, his vehicle 9:17 was recorded crossing the peace bridge 9:19 located east of Lake Erie, which 9:21 connects Ontario to Buffalo. And shortly 9:23 after crossing the border, that is when 9:25 the internet became involved because 9:28 shortly after this, strange posts began 9:30 to appear all over Reddit. In these 9:32 posts, Ara gave his own grievous version 9:35 of events. And although they were 9:37 promptly removed and the account was 9:38 deleted, it was all too late because 9:41 many people had already archived these 9:43 posts. And just as fast as those 9:46 messages disappeared, Aahan himself 9:48 would as well. 9:50 several days later and to begin 9:52 negotiations, he contacted the police on 9:55 WhatsApp. Argo said that he would turn 9:57 himself in if he had some sort of deal 10:00 in place first, but without any sort of 10:02 deal coming into fruition, he once again 10:04 vanished after these messages. Now, this 10:07 was no small accomplishment here. Ara 10:10 had successfully evaded the law, and 10:12 unfortunately, this wouldn't be the last 10:15 time either. He had vanished into the 10:17 lands of the United States, and all 10:19 detectives could do was hope that he 10:21 would eventually message them back. The 10:23 next sign of life from Margo would be 10:25 two weeks later on May the 20th when he 10:27 claimed that he'd been photoshopped 10:29 after being wrongfully spotted in 10:30 Tennessee. And then one month later on 10:33 June the 19th, three more posts would 10:35 suddenly appear. Slightly different from 10:37 the rest, these two were merely images 10:39 with captions which explained his 10:41 feelings. Despite this, no matter how 10:43 hard detectives and data forensics 10:45 tried, they simply could not pinpoint 10:47 his position. And despite multiple 10:49 points of contact with the officers, he 10:52 would continue to evade the law. Sadly, 10:54 with everyday on the run, further 10:56 distressing Melinda's family and loved 10:58 ones. But finally, on July the 10th, 11:00 2017, progress was suddenly made when 11:03 Ara posted on Instagram. In this post, 11:05 he said, "I'm coming home. It's time to 11:08 end the dark path I've been traveling 11:10 and give people the closure they 11:11 deserve. Saying that he wouldn't post 11:14 this without some half-ass vanity photo. 11:16 I'm unsure if black and white was for 11:18 deep, thoughtful dramatic effect or to 11:20 simply enunciate his jawline. But either 11:23 way, it just screams how tonedeaf he was 11:25 in the moment. But despite this post, 11:27 Aar didn't actually turn himself in. 11:30 Instead, he was finally arrested as part 11:32 of a counterfeit investigation. His 11:34 phone was identified and tracked after 11:36 buying counterfeit currency via the dark 11:38 web with officers arresting him just one 11:40 day after this Instagram post. And this 11:42 isn't the end of his terrible time on 11:44 the internet either. Oh no. In fact, it 11:47 would get much, much worse. 11:51 It was later learned that while still on 11:53 the run, Arga had opened a Facebook 11:55 account under a fake name. And under 11:57 this fake Facebook account, he would 12:00 actually go on to message Melinda's 12:01 mother. and in addition to this would go 12:03 on to join at least one group that was 12:05 dedicated to Melinda's memory. In a 12:08 direct message to Melinda's mother, he 12:10 wrote, "Just an outsider looking in." 12:12 "Sorry about what happened to your 12:13 daughter." However, it seems like this 12:15 could have been avoided had you not let 12:17 her stay in the apartment after he broke 12:19 in the first time. "Parti your fault, 12:21 yes, but I hope you can forgive 12:23 yourself. We all make mistakes." This 12:25 one, however, cost your daughter's life. 12:27 Oh well, you have other daughters, 12:29 right? He would then go on to post on 12:31 the memorial page saying, "This is what 12:33 happens when a dates a douche 12:36 murder." 12:39 Although there was never any concrete 12:41 proof that Arga had sent these messages, 12:43 it is extremely likely because after 12:46 tracking down the IP address, it was 12:48 proven to have been sent from the same 12:49 house he was hiding in. And as you will 12:51 soon come to realize, there is much more 12:53 evidence for the court to use later on. 12:55 The timeline on the night of Linda's 12:57 death has never been fully agreed upon. 13:00 However, using the information and 13:01 evidence available, we can generate a 13:04 pretty thorough understanding. Despite Timeline of the murder 13:06 legal procedures already in place to 13:08 restrict Agger from meeting Melinda, the 13:10 two had chosen to meet up and speak 13:12 again in person. Although Arag missed 13:14 the initially agreed time frame, he 13:16 would eventually meet Melinda after her 13:18 friends left for the evening. And after 13:20 arriving back at the property, her 13:22 friends were satisfied with the 13:23 conversation being calm enough that they 13:25 did not intervene and furthermore left 13:27 to get food. Sometime between the group 13:29 leaving and then returning, it is clear 13:31 that the situation between Melinda and 13:33 Arga began to rapidly deteriorate. Arga 13:36 claims that he did actually plan to be 13:39 at the property while Melinda's friends 13:40 were there, but would accidentally 13:42 arrive late. Following their 13:44 conversation, surveillance footage 13:46 captures Melinda walking Argar out of 13:48 the apartment and to his car. In this 13:50 footage, both of them seem to be calm 13:52 and comfortable with each other. Melinda 13:54 then goes back inside where Arga pauses 13:57 for a moment before then following her 13:59 back into the apartment. According to 14:01 Arga, their conversation had gone very 14:03 well up until this point in time, but he 14:05 hadn't yet fully shared his story with 14:08 her. On that basis, he decided to go 14:10 back inside and confessed that he had 14:12 cheated with another woman in recent 14:13 months. Shortly after 2:00 a.m., a 14:15 surveillance camera captures him running 14:17 to his vehicle before speeding off into 14:19 the night. And just 40 minutes later, 14:22 the other members of the group returned 14:24 home. According to his Reddit post, 14:26 Melinda allegedly lost her temper after 14:28 learning of his infidelity. He claimed 14:30 that she began to slap and hit him, and 14:32 eventually he pushed her back in 14:34 self-defense. depending on whether you 14:36 believe him or not. But Ara claims that 14:38 she grabbed a knife from the kitchen and 14:40 began to stab him with it, inflicting 14:42 several wounds on his hands and wrists. 14:44 He then claims that he apparently quote 14:47 blacked out, and when he came back 14:49 around, she was on the floor. He 14:51 allegedly thought that she had just 14:53 merely passed out and then he fled the 14:55 scene. He then texted a phone saying how 14:57 glad he was that they had made up and 14:59 everything was good between them before 15:01 then of course for no reason at all 15:03 speeding off towards the US Canadian 15:05 border. 15:07 I am remaining mostly impartial as 15:09 always but honestly folks I am 15:12 struggling with this guy. As a side 15:14 note, Arga's Reddit profile was named 15:16 Red is blue 101 which leans into the 15:18 whole red pill blue pilly. I do think he 15:21 was just trying to sound smart and edgy 15:23 but it could also be nihilism. Anyway, 15:25 with Arag being on the run for so long 15:27 and in the end not even giving himself 15:30 up, he had a lot of work to do to 15:32 convince the jury he was innocent. But 15:34 before we get into the legal 15:35 proceedings, let's reiterate a few cold 15:37 hard facts. While on the run, he had 15:40 been in contact with the police multiple 15:41 times to try and negotiate some sort of 15:43 plea deal. In fact, the very day that 15:46 Melinda was murdered and he crossed the 15:47 border into the US, he spoke with a 15:49 detective via WhatsApp. The text message 15:51 read, "Detective, I did not attack her 15:54 first. She came at me with a knife after 15:56 I revealed to her what I did in the 15:58 past. Things were good. I was in her 16:00 room for an hour just cuddling and 16:01 kissing. Even asked her roommate. When I 16:03 came back to get my keychain, I told her 16:05 the truth. She then went for the knife. 16:07 The version of events that Arag 16:09 described seemed to be at odds with Legal Proceedings 16:11 almost all of the evidence that was 16:13 brought up during the trial, and 16:14 Melinda's autopsy revealed that she had 16:17 been stabbed a total of 47 times. The 16:20 cause of her death was determined to be 16:21 sharp forced trauma to the neck and 16:23 chest with more than half of those 47 16:25 wounds made to her neck. No surprise, 16:28 Argo continued to paint the picture of 16:30 self-defense during his trial, claiming 16:32 he had only retaliated while trying to 16:34 protect himself from a supposed crazed 16:36 exed partner. He claimed that she had 16:38 grabbed the knife out of nowhere, 16:40 injuring his hand and wrist in the 16:42 process. However, the sheer number of 16:44 stab wounds that were inflicted on 16:45 Melinda made it very difficult to 16:47 believe. I mean, it is one thing to 16:49 defend yourself, but 47 times, the 16:53 forensic pathologist who carried out the 16:55 autopsy believed that just two of the 16:57 six stab wounds would have been fatal. 16:58 And this means that the other 45 were 17:00 all simply overkill. She also stated 17:03 that the wounds on hands and arms were 17:05 typical of self-defense, or at least 17:07 were wounds that were typical of someone 17:09 being attacked and trying to protect 17:11 themselves. Argar insisted that he had 17:13 feared for his life and merely blacked 17:15 out and was therefore unable to remember 17:17 his actions. During his trial, he said, 17:20 "I remember stabbing her twice. I was 17:22 overwhelmed. I just blacked out after 17:25 that. When I regained focus, there was 17:27 blood everywhere. I didn't expect to 17:29 lose control like I did." When Aragger 17:31 was given the chance to address the 17:32 court, he said, "I genuinely, from the 17:35 bottom of my heart, apologize. There are 17:37 zero excuses for taking one's life. I 17:40 cannot and will not forgive myself. 17:42 During his trial, text messages between 17:44 the pair were read out and shown to the 17:46 courtroom. One from Argus saying, I 17:48 never did and never will physically hurt 17:50 you in any way. Another read, I don't 17:52 want to get over what we had. If anyone 17:54 tells you our relationship was toxic, 17:56 they are wrong. Yes, we fought a lot, 17:59 but it's only because of our cultural 18:00 differences, but I was slowly starting 18:02 to change for the better. We can work 18:04 out any situation as long as there was 18:07 no cheating or hitting involved. And 18:09 yeah, I hate to break it to you, Arga, 18:11 but you kind of failed on both of those 18:13 factors. The final text message sent by 18:15 Arga was sent at 3:39 a.m., which was 18:18 roughly 1 hour after paramedics arrived. 18:21 And this text message simply said, "Nice 18:23 seeing you tonight. Glad we worked 18:25 things out. Anyways, see you soon." 18:34 The prosecution would ultimately suggest 18:36 that this was just a poor effort to 18:37 cover his tracks while he made his way 18:39 to the border to flee the country. They 18:41 would also highlight that this cute text 18:43 message was sent only after he'd stabbed 18:45 her almost 50 times and then left her 18:47 for dead. No surprise, Arga was 18:49 eventually found guilty of murder in the 18:51 second degree, defined as intentional 18:53 killing without premeditation in the 18:55 Canadian criminal code. And so as a 18:57 result, he was sentenced to life in 18:59 prison with the possibility of parole 19:01 after 16 years. With this being 19:03 seconddegree murder, Arager could have 19:05 technically received as little as 10 19:07 years behind bars if his parole was set 19:09 accordingly. But thankfully, the judge 19:11 set this at 16 years instead. Although 19:13 Melinda's family were happy to receive 19:16 justice, they were rather disappointed 19:18 with what felt like a relatively short 19:20 sentence. After all, with the time he 19:22 had already spent in custody taken into 19:24 account, he could theoretically be out 19:26 of prison as early as the year 2033, 19:30 putting Arg at the still young age of 19:32 only 41. Many of the delays seen before 19:34 his trial were due to the court system 19:37 shutting down due to CO 19. But this was 19:40 also further exacerbated by Arga 19:42 changing his own legal representation. 19:44 To add to this, the evidence created and 19:46 messages sent while he was on the run 19:48 were kept out of the case by the 19:50 prosecution, which also seems odd. It 19:53 was made clear in the court that 19:54 although there was no doubt that he was 19:56 the one who had taken her life, the 19:58 exact circumstances behind it have never 20:01 been fully agreed. 20:04 Following her sentencing in September of 20:06 2023, Melinda's aunt spoke outside of 20:09 the courthouse on behalf of the family. 20:11 In her statement, she said, "The past 6 20:13 and 1/2 years, it's been hard, 20:15 emotional, aggravating, upsetting. It is 20:18 never over for the victim's families, 20:21 especially for us. Melinda is gone 20:23 forever. She's never coming back, and I 20:25 don't agree that he should even be 20:27 allowed allegibility for any type of 20:29 parole." On these words alone, you can 20:31 see how strongly they felt about his 20:33 sentence. One of the most unique aspects Unique aspects 20:35 of this case is Arg's decision to put 20:37 his own version of events on a public 20:39 forum. It is crazy to me that he felt 20:42 confident and sure enough in himself to 20:44 do that. Messaging Melinda's mother 20:46 under a fake name to tell her that it 20:48 was her fault that her daughter had died 20:50 while simultaneously calling her a 20:52 is one of the most evil and sick things 20:54 I've ever heard. I just can't get my 20:56 head around that. That is just 20:57 depraved. And feeling cocky enough to 20:59 call out the police on Instagram while 21:01 also on the run is just bitterly funny, 21:03 too. Even after murdering somebody, he 21:06 is out there victimizing himself like a 21:07 true narcissist. And this black and 21:09 white photo and quote to show that he 21:11 was somehow a good little boy for 21:13 handing himself in really was the cherry 21:15 on top. 21:18 The protracted legal proceedings once he 21:20 had been apprehended as well as the 21:22 information that was kept out of the 21:24 court case is also fairly unique. The 21:26 prosecution was looking for a conviction 21:28 based on the crime that had been 21:30 committed that night. And at that 21:32 moment, they didn't want to muddy the 21:34 waters with extra information that was 21:36 essentially irrelevant. Although there 21:39 was some backlash over his sentence, it 21:41 is worth noting that if they did charge 21:43 him with murder in the first degree, 21:45 then the prosecution would have had to 21:46 prove that he had traveled to Melinda's 21:48 house with the premeditated intention of 21:50 killing her, which, as you can imagine, 21:52 would have been quite difficult to 21:54 prove. And sadly, no matter the charge 21:57 or the sentence given, Melinda's death 21:59 is something that cannot be undone. 22:02 She was a young woman with an entire 22:04 life ahead of her. Murdered at the hands 22:06 of a man who claimed to have loved her. 22:09 Her death has left a massive hole in the 22:11 lives of everyone who knew her. And in 22:13 court, her mother spoke about the life 22:15 goals that she would now never 22:17 experience. She would never have the 22:19 opportunity to have children as she'd 22:21 dreamed about and would never be able to 22:23 experience the joy of growing old. Her 22:26 mother spoke of how the light had gone 22:27 out in her own life, how she was unable 22:30 to hold down full-time work or even 22:32 visit busy areas. Melinda's sister, her 22:34 aunts, and her friends all described her 22:36 as beautiful with a vibrant personality, 22:39 that she was caring and loving, and 22:41 would do anything for anyone. Her 22:43 obituary pages, and the various groups 22:45 and fundraisers on social media are full 22:48 of platitudes where anyone who crossed 22:50 paths with her had nothing but great 22:52 things to say. Her life was cut short by 22:54 a man alleging to love her. A man who 22:56 had already proven himself to be 22:58 unstable and impulsive by breaking into 23:00 her house. A man who was under legal 23:02 instruction not to even approach her. 23:05 The time he spent on the run and even 23:07 his defense that he tried to deploy was 23:09 nothing more than an attempt to smear 23:11 the memory of his victim. Thankfully, it 23:14 was an effort that was in vain. 23:18 Every once in a while, I come across a 23:20 killer that just really gets under my 23:22 skin, and Ara definitely is one of them. 23:25 Hope he spends many years behind bars. 23:27 Anyway, folks, I think that pretty much Outro 23:29 wraps up our case today.
