0:00 there is no emotion more delicate than 0:02 love opening your arms and exposing your 0:04 heart to someone can quite bluntly be 0:07 terrifying especially if you 0:09 inadvertently give it to a reckless 0:11 partner when Lily James crossed paths 0:13 with Paul fan she likely hoped that the 0:16 two would be a perfect match for each 0:18 other sadly she soon learned that he was 0:21 not the kind of man she was looking for 0:23 the fragility that I spoke about works 0:25 both ways it's a sad reality that while 0:28 many doors to new relationship ships 0:30 open most of them will eventually close 0:33 and while many accept this cold and 0:35 harsh fact the rare few never do Paving 0:38 the way to stalking denial anger 0:41 violence and even murder and sadly Paul 0:45 Fan's actions in the following days 0:48 would shock the city of Sydney beyond 0:53 belief welcome or welcome back to Coffee Welcome 0:56 House crime folks my name is Adrian and 0:58 today we're in Sydney to look at a case 1:00 that gripped the city for all of the 1:02 wrong reasons Paul fian was a seemingly 1:04 good person and Lily James she was 1:07 extraordinary but following a chance 1:09 encounter in the year 2023 their brief 1:11 relationship would end in the most 1:13 brutal of ways as you can tell this 1:15 video is slightly different to the usual 1:18 but Coffee House crime posts 1:19 International True Crime cases here 1:21 weekly so if that does sound like a kind 1:23 of thing please consider subscribing and 1:25 now with that said please grab yourself 1:27 a coffee and come along with me for the 1:28 Deep dive this is the case of Lily 1:32 [Music] 1:38 James good day folks and welcome to 1:41 Sydney despite losing the title of 1:43 Australia's most populated city to 1:46 Melbourne in 2023 Sydney is likely still 1:49 seen as Australia's most iconic and with 1:52 the Opera House Sydney Harbor Bridge and 1:54 darling Harbor it is easy to see why the 1:57 city's never ending desire to build 1:59 around the bay makes it extremely unique 2:02 as a result Sydney is left with 2:04 Incredible views from many angles and 2:07 also has one of the busiest waterways on 2:09 the planet with the Blue Mountains to 2:11 the west and dozens of beaches on its 2:14 eastern Coastline anyone with an 2:16 affinity towards outdoor activities is 2:18 spoiled for Choice here and although 2:20 Sydney's coffee couldn't possibly live 2:22 up to Melbourne's golden standards I do 2:24 admit it's not bad at all Sydney's love 2:27 of coffee stems from the 18th century 2:29 when the First Fleet brought coffee 2:31 beans to Australia's Shores and this 2:33 coupled with the arrival of immigrants 2:35 from Italy France turkey and Greece 2:37 during the 19th century led to the first 2:40 coffee houses in Australia opening in 2:42 Sydney making way to give rise to the 2:44 city's now Ardent Cafe culture coffee 2:47 aside our story today begins in the 2:49 suburb of sans suusi which can be found 2:52 around 10 Mi south of Sydney's Central 2:54 business district the rather odd name 2:57 comes from a French term which can be 2:59 translated to without care deliberately 3:01 a perfect representation of Australia's 3:04 chilled out way of life with just over 3:06 10,000 residents sansi is a primarily 3:09 residential area with multiple beaches 3:11 and a small shopping strep it's a great 3:14 place to settle down and have a family 3:16 and scaling back just a year this is 3:18 where we could have found Lily James and Lilie James 3:20 the James family born on May the 21st 3:23 202 Lily James was the daughter of her 3:26 beloved parents Jamie and Peter and 3:28 alongside her brother Max the two were 3:31 quite close to their grandmother Barbara 3:33 growing up in such an Eclectic City Lily 3:36 was exposed to a high quality of life 3:39 she was known to be an independent and 3:41 vibrant young woman who was always on 3:43 the go and lived each day to the fullest 3:46 loyal fun and bright these are three 3:49 words commonly used to describe her and 3:52 Friends relatives colleagues and 3:53 acquaintances all agreed she was an 3:56 absolute joy to be around after 3:58 graduating from D Bank Anglican School 4:00 for Girls in 2020 she went on to study 4:03 Sports business at the University of 4:05 Technology Sydney Lily was naturally 4:08 ambitious and worked hard to achieve her 4:10 goals and dreams she loved to dance and 4:13 despite her busy schedule she still made 4:16 time to support her brother Max her 4:17 friends and family now outside of 4:20 working and studying she also loved to 4:23 play water polo so much so that she was 4:25 even employed as a part-time water polo 4:28 coach by St Andrew Cathedral School and 4:31 this school was where she would meet 4:33 someone extremely crucial to this case 4:36 and his name was Paul fian born in 1999 Paul Thijssen 4:40 Paul was the son of an affluent Dutch 4:42 family in the Netherlands his mother 4:44 Steph and father Esther were high-flying 4:47 corporate parents and despite their ever 4:49 demanding corpo lives they loved their 4:52 only child his father was a consultant 4:55 in marketing and Communications and 4:57 following an opportunity to move from 4:59 the NE lands to Australia the family 5:01 relocated to Sydney in 2015 this paved 5:04 the way for Paul to attend St Andrew's 5:06 School in Sydney where soon enough he 5:08 soon became a sports captain and part of 5:11 the school leadership team and although 5:13 he would return to the Netherlands with 5:14 his parents in 2018 he soon returned 5:17 after graduating from University by 2020 5:21 he once again found himself living in 5:23 one of the world's most exciting albeit 5:25 expensive cities Sydney's high price tag 5:28 comes with the promise of son excellent 5:30 Healthcare and sports and Stellar 5:32 education which actually was perfect for 5:35 Paul because he planned to become a 5:37 sports teacher he continued to work at 5:40 St Andrews Cathedral School as a cricket 5:42 and hockey coach in addition to this he 5:45 also became an after hours coordinator 5:47 while studying for a masters of teaching 5:50 living in a semi- detached house in 5:51 Kensington he hardly knew his other 5:54 three housemates they described him as 5:56 polite and courteous yet sometimes messy 5:59 not that it mattered too much as he was 6:01 hardly ever 6:02 [Music] 6:06 in many adults saw Paul as a high 6:09 achieving young man who was bound to 6:11 become successful but sadly that is 6:13 where the compliments end allegedly some 6:16 of the students around Paul felt rather 6:18 uncomfortable around him with some even 6:20 reporting to their friends that he was 6:22 behaving quite creepily apparently he 6:25 was rather flutacious with the younger 6:27 female students and had a wondering eye 6:29 and this made many of them feel 6:31 unsettled in their environment he was 6:33 also described as arrogant by former 6:35 peers objectified women and was not 6:37 liked by many of the men around him 6:40 unfortunately Paul bore all of the 6:41 typical red flags most of which were 6:43 seemingly well hidden he was quite 6:46 narcissistic had a fragile ego and 6:48 wanted to control all of his 6:50 relationships again many of these red 6:52 flags were not Apparent from the outset 6:55 so Paul would have had plenty of 6:56 opportunity to catch a woman's attention 6:58 before they noticed is who he really was 7:01 and tragically Lily was one of those 7:03 people with Lily and Paul working at St Relationship 7:06 Andrew's Cathedral School it was only a 7:08 matter of time before they crossed paths 7:11 and fast forward several months to 7:13 September of 2023 and the two had began 7:16 dating now it isn't precisely clear why 7:20 but the two began their relationship 7:21 secretly perhaps in an effort to prevent 7:24 rumors spreading at school close friends 7:26 and family knew that the two were dating 7:28 but in General the relationship was kept 7:31 Under Wraps despite their Newfound 7:33 relationship Lily was quick to find both 7:36 discomfort and concern where a new 7:38 partner is usually filled with 7:40 excitement and happiness she simply 7:42 wasn't feeling it and so after 5 weeks 7:45 of being together she decided to call a 7:48 Tom this decision clearly was the best 7:51 for her but that doesn't mean that Paul 7:53 was ready to accept Lily's choice and 7:56 the breakup was sure to leave him upset 7:58 in fact he was Furious now the average 8:02 person apparently goes through three to 8:04 four major breakups in their lifetime 8:06 but we can't even call this a 8:08 significant one Paul and Lily were only 8:10 seeing each other for around 5 weeks 8:13 before breaking up and the way that Paul 8:15 emotionally reacted was Far Beyond 8:18 acceptable even for the most serious of 8:21 relationships students and friends 8:23 always assumed that Paul had a fragile 8:26 ego sadly he was about to prove it and 8:29 one of the most deplorable ways possible 8:32 and tragically it would all come at the 8:34 expense of Lily's October 26th 2023 8:39 life October 26th 2023 over the course 8:43 of the evening concern grew in the James 8:46 household Lily who usually made her way 8:49 home on time was nowhere to be found 8:52 furthermore she wasn't replying to her 8:54 phone calls or messages with her 8:57 unexpected absence both of of Lily's 8:59 parents were becoming worried in fact 9:02 her father had become so nervous that he 9:05 called the police to report her missing 9:07 and sadly their fears would only 9:10 escalate from here Lily's disappearance 9:13 would be shortlived as the news began to 9:15 spread around family and close friends 9:18 her father received a strange text 9:20 message although this message came from 9:22 Lily's phone it didn't sound like her 9:25 she had asked him to pick her up from 9:27 school which was unusual at this time of 9:31 night by now her father had become 9:33 desperate he wanted to make sure that 9:36 his daughter was okay and so in a bid to 9:38 find Comfort he headed out the front 9:41 door to pick her up at St Andrew's 9:43 Cathedral School tragically he would be 9:45 met with devastation after arriving at 9:48 the school jimie immediately sensed that 9:51 something was wrong the school itself 9:53 was surrounded by police cars with 9:56 multiple areas cordoned off and no way 9:58 to to get in something bad had happened 10:01 here but the details were not yet clear 10:04 that is when ja's world came crashing 10:06 down the authorities had been tipped by 10:09 an anonymous caller declaring that a 10:12 body could be found on the school 10:13 grounds and that it should be 10:16 investigated officers soon arrived at 10:18 the school shortly before Lily's father 10:21 and they were met with a confronting 10:23 scene the body of a young woman was 10:25 found in the bathroom of the school's 10:28 gymnasium upon entering they realized 10:31 there were evident signs of a struggle 10:33 the victim had been bludgeoned to death 10:35 had tragically been hit many times with 10:38 a hammer that victim was soon identified 10:40 to be Lily James this news would be sure 10:44 to rip a hole into the local community 10:46 of Sydney Lily was a much-loved teacher 10:50 now callously murdered on the very 10:52 grounds she worked on and was supposed 10:55 to feel safe as for her killer whoever 10:58 they were they were nowhere to be 11:01 [Music] 11:02 found amid this unfolding tragedy 11:05 parents and teachers found themselves 11:07 deeply concerned about the well-being of 11:09 their students murder in a downtown 11:12 School in Sydney sent shock waves 11:14 throughout the community this sort of 11:16 tragedy was simply unheard of and many 11:19 were wondering how such a thing could 11:21 happen as the news circulated 11:23 speculations and rumors spread like 11:25 wildfire and many wondered who would 11:28 Target such a g gent and compassionate 11:30 young woman close friends and family 11:32 found themselves contemplating her 11:34 various connections and it didn't take 11:36 long for them to think about Paul and 11:38 his various motives but the authorities 11:40 were already aware that he may have 11:42 something to do with his now exgf 11:45 friend's death and even more 11:47 suspiciously he was nowhere to be found 11:51 the authorities were able to establish In search of Paul... (CCTV) 11:52 Lily's murder to be between the time of 11:55 7 and 8:00 p.m. with the anonymous call 11:57 coming into the authorities around 4 11:59 hours later at midnight with knowledge 12:02 of her death it was likely that the 12:04 caller was responsible or related to her 12:07 murder with four to 5 hours to spare the 12:10 caller could have long disappeared into 12:12 the expansive Regional area of Australia 12:15 however interestingly enough analysts 12:18 were soon able to trace the call to v 12:20 clu that being an Eastern suburb only 5 12:23 m away from the sko now vuse is a 12:26 beautiful part of Sydney and of Al one 12:29 of the most expensive suburbs to live in 12:32 it overlooks the harbor to the west and 12:34 more notably the expansive sea to the 12:37 east the Anonymous phone call was traced 12:39 to Diamond Bay Reserve located along the 12:42 eastern coast of v cluse and with its 12:44 steep Cliffs and Rocky drop this place 12:47 is known to be particularly dangerous 12:50 and as you will soon come to find out 12:52 later in this video my personal 12:54 experience determined that it's a 12:56 gorgeous yet very dangerous place to be 12:59 went off the beaten path more 13:01 specifically the Gap is Infamous for 13:03 being a place where many people take 13:06 their own lives and while being here I 13:09 could feel a lot of sadness found behind 13:11 its beauty eventually police officers 13:14 determined that the call originated from 13:16 Paul's phone however by the time they 13:19 arrived he was long gone after digging 13:22 through surveillance footage which was 13:24 recorded by a private home detectives 13:26 were met with more concerning clothes 13:29 as it turns out a security camera of one 13:32 of the local houses picked up more than 13:34 Paul had bargained for at 847 p.m. 13:38 roughly 1 hour after Lily's murder a 13:40 Lexus vehicle parked along the curb of 13:43 Chris bank crants with the street being 13:45 found right next to diamond Bay reserve 13:48 and the Gap at 9:04 p.m. the driver 13:52 emerged from the vehicle before walking 13:54 Westward the man appeared to be holding 13:57 a bag and was carrying a relatively calm 14:00 posture after identification it is 14:03 confirmed that this man was Paul thisan 14:05 8 minutes later at 9:12 p.m. he was once 14:09 again spotted walking eastwards towards 14:11 his car he remained there for 36 minutes 14:14 before turning it on at 9:49 he then 14:17 drove away into the nights it is noted 14:20 that Paul only called the authorities 2 14:22 hours after being captured by the 14:24 surveillance footage on this road he was 14:26 then seen driving off in that direction 14:28 never to be seen again before driving 14:31 away he was spotted walking in that 14:33 direction towards the Cliffside and a 14:35 nearby bin by daylight his vehicle was 14:37 found in a nearby car park but as for 14:39 the man himself he was nowhere to be 14:42 found for the next 24 hours police 14:45 frantically searched for Paul by now he 14:47 had been identified in the surveillance 14:49 footage found at the skull indicating 14:51 that he was likely involved with the 14:52 Le's murder but sadly officers would 14:55 never have the opportunity to interview 14:57 him because the very next morning on 14:59 Friday the 27th of October Tradesman 15:02 found his body at the bottom of these 15:04 Cliffs coincidentally the Gap had Aftermath 15:06 already been sectioned off for routine 15:09 Renovations looking across the Gap they 15:11 spotted what appeared to be a body 15:14 amongst the rocks found at the bottom of 15:16 the cliffs and sadly they were correct 15:19 in their assumptions at 9:00 a.m. police 15:22 helicopters and boats arrived to 15:23 retrieve the unidentified body strong 15:26 winds on the day made the operation 15:28 extremely challenging the ocean was 15:31 rough and as you can see large swells 15:33 were at the base of the cliff after 15:35 sectioning off the area the authorities 15:37 found a bin that contained Paul's items 15:40 and a hammer by noon the body had been 15:43 retrieved and identified to belong to a 15:45 white male identification would take a 15:48 while though the body was bloated and 15:51 shattered from The Cliffs and harsh 15:53 Waters soon enough though through 15:55 fingerprint technology and Records held 15:57 at the Dutch Embassy see the body was 16:00 identified to belong to Paul fion it 16:02 appeared that the cowards had decided to 16:04 take the easy way out instead of face 16:07 the 16:09 consequences to add to the already 16:11 incomprehensible feelings of pain and 16:13 frustration Lily's family and friends 16:15 were now faced with the prospect of 16:16 never finding closure and instead of 16:19 finding the closure they so desperately 16:20 needed from Paul they were left with 16:22 more questions than before with no way 16:24 of answering them Paul's death almost 16:26 certainly confirmed that he was the one 16:28 to blame he seemingly had a deep issue 16:31 with control and wanted to maintain it 16:33 right until his final breath in a world 16:35 where he survived Paul would have likely 16:37 faced his trial here at the Supreme 16:39 Court of New South Wales where he could 16:41 have faced Life Behind Bars over the 16:43 following days officers constructed a 16:45 timeline of what precisely happened on 16:47 that fateful night of October the 25th Timeline of events 16:50 let's begin in mid-september after 16:52 crossing paths Paul and L Lee started to 16:55 secretly date in the middle of this 16:56 month 3 weeks later Paul thisen and Lily 16:59 James visited a friend and wore clothes 17:02 not only did this location hold some 17:04 sort of sentimental significance to the 17:07 relationship but this is also likely how 17:09 he knew of the Gap sadly though the 17:12 relationship would not last very long it 17:15 is reported that Paul was controlling 17:17 and aggressive towards Lily and knowing 17:19 that he was no longer someone that she 17:21 wanted in her life she called the 17:23 relationship off roughly 2 weeks after 17:26 visiting for Clos Paul's anger and 17:28 frustration simmered for multiple days 17:30 after the breakup he was devastated but 17:34 instead of focusing on how he could 17:35 become a better partner in the future he 17:38 refused to allow Lily control over her 17:40 own life on the day of Lily's murder 17:43 Paul traveled to local hardware store 17:46 and purchased a hammer clearly 17:47 displaying premeditation and killing or 17:50 at least harming his former girlfriend 17:52 he then rented out a silver 2003 Lexus 17:55 sedan and drove it towards St Andrew's 17:58 Cathedral School at around 700 p.m. that 18:00 night and following her shift at school 18:03 Lily James was spotted by a surveillance 18:05 camera entering the gymnasium toilets 18:08 although this surveillance footage is 18:09 not currently available to the public 18:12 Paul was spotted following her with 18:13 multiple Witnesses reviewing this 18:15 surveillance footage and confirming his 18:17 identity an altercation followed sadly 18:20 ending in Lily's death she was beaten 18:23 and bludgeoned to death with a hammer 18:26 and tragically had been assaulted so 18:28 badly that her face was no longer 18:31 recognizable all spent over an hour in 18:33 the bathroom before leaving shortly 18:35 after 8:00 p.m. he then jumped in his 18:38 car and drove to Diamond Bay Reserve 18:40 known as The Gap that is when a 18:42 surveillance camera captured him at 8:47 18:45 p.m. as we know he made a short trip 18:48 away from the car before returning it is 18:50 believed that he dumped the hammer and 18:52 his belongings in this bin in that time 18:54 frame Paul then drove away and parked 18:56 his car in a nearby car car park he then 18:59 phoned the authorities to inform them of 19:01 her body anonymously confessing that she 19:03 had been murdered and her body was in 19:05 one of the school's bathrooms after that 19:08 Paul callously messaged Lily's father 19:11 pretending to be her as he asked him to 19:13 pick her up from the sko criminologists 19:16 speculate that Paul's motive for sending 19:18 those text messages was either to ensure 19:20 that Lily's body would be found or to 19:23 potentially alter the time at which the 19:25 police believed she had died it isn't 19:27 known what Paul was up to in the two 19:29 hours between the surveillance votage 19:31 and calling the authorities but we do 19:34 know that in the hours after his phone 19:36 call he made his way to the Gap walked 19:38 to the Cliff's Edge and then jumped the 19:41 authorities found his airpods on this 19:43 rock 19:46 nearby by 4:30 a.m. St Andrew school Aftermath 19:50 emailed all students parents to inform 19:51 them that the school would be closed for 19:53 the rest of the week due to a critical 19:55 incident the school also brought in 19:57 professional therapist ists to provide 19:59 support to students teachers and parents 20:01 and all exams happening at the time were 20:03 moved to separate buildings by 11:00 20:05 a.m. Lil's death had been confirmed by 20:07 the authorities and what also became 20:10 glaringly apparent was that Paul was 20:12 nowhere to be found however what they 20:15 didn't know at the time is that he too 20:17 was dead meanwhile Paul's body remained 20:20 undetected for just over 24 hours before 20:23 being discovered by Tradesmen working on 20:24 the past Renovations behind me follow 20:28 her death the former Headmaster of St 20:30 Andrew's Cathedral School received heavy 20:32 criticism after describing Paul of all 20:35 people as an absolute delight and not a 20:38 monster but context is important here in 20:41 full Dr Kia said what is chilling about 20:44 the tragedy which unfolded at St Andrews 20:47 the shock and grief of which will 20:49 Cascade for a long time is that the 20:51 young man concerned was in everybody's 20:53 estimation an absolute Delight he 20:56 appeared to be just like the best of us 20:59 the important detail to take away here 21:01 is that Paul seemed to be like everybody 21:04 else people capable of monstrous actions 21:07 are all around us and nobody would have 21:09 ever suspected this from Paul I think 21:12 it's important here to note that do Kia 21:14 was not justifying Paul in any way but 21:17 rather highlighting that he had masked 21:19 his actual self around the 21:22 public to this day nobody understands 21:25 why Paul reacted in such an aggressive 21:28 and permanent way to the breakup he was 21:30 young successful and had a very 21:32 prosperous future ahead of him and sure 21:35 he may have been a douchebag but he had 21:37 plenty of time to mature into a 21:39 thoughtful and kind man some do 21:41 speculate that the 18 months of 21:43 isolation he had during covid-19 may 21:45 have affected him badly but personal 21:48 opinion that doesn't change anything 21:50 most of us had to go through that it has 21:52 left many students confused because 21:54 although some of them do refer to him as 21:56 a creep others say he he was a good 21:58 friend who cared about his students 22:01 quite honestly his behavior is simply 22:03 incomprehensible it also appears that 22:05 her murder was premeditated in the hours 22:08 prior to her death he rented out a car 22:10 and purchased a hammer before finding 22:13 her in fact the car even suggests that 22:15 he may have planned to dispose of a body 22:17 in hopes that she would never be found 22:20 for all we know he may have continued 22:21 with his life afterwards as if nothing 22:23 had 22:24 happened following Paul's death his 22:27 parents decided decided that they would 22:28 not repatriate their only child's body 22:31 to the Netherlands and would instead 22:33 have him cremated before scattering his 22:36 ashes in Sydney enough about Paul though Remembering Lilie, Criminology 22:38 who really matters here is Lily Lily's 22:41 family who understandably still don't 22:44 understand how Paul murdered their 22:45 daughter in such a public place are 22:48 considering suing the school for 22:49 compensation over her death with this 22:52 happening in a public bathroom they are 22:54 currently trying to understand how he 22:56 was able to conduct such violent 22:58 assaults without anyone hearing or 23:00 seeing the attack the James family will 23:03 also question why the elite in a city 23:05 scho where Annual fees exceed $40,000 23:09 Australian dollars still does not employ 23:11 security guards overnight understandably 23:14 there is a lot of frustration and anger 23:16 Behind These extremely valid questions 23:19 and I sincerely hope that they find the 23:21 answers they so desperately deserve 23:25 sadly like many other countries across 23:27 the globe the number of intimate partner 23:29 homicides has been increasing over the 23:31 years however saying that the Australian 23:34 Institute of criminology does come with 23:36 some rather positive news the intimate 23:39 partner homicide rate per 100,000 23:42 population in Australia is decreasing 23:45 it's just that with an increase in 23:47 population the overall number of 23:49 intimate homicides is climbing yet of 23:51 course we can always strive to push this 23:54 figure to zero refocusing here from a 23:56 broad to a personal lend 23:58 it is easy to see that Lily's death was 24:00 entirely avoidable and should never have 24:03 happened sadly Paul's Behavior was not 24:06 predictable but one could argue that the 24:08 school should have had a security guard 24:10 or system in place to protect Lily from 24:13 Paul after all he was alone with her in 24:15 that bathroom for more than 1 hour 24:17 before fleeing it's terrible to realize 24:20 that questions over security require a 24:22 tragedy like this to happen first Lily's 24:25 close friends remember her with fondness 24:28 they continue to describe her as the 24:30 nicest and kindest person they have ever 24:32 met she is remembered as full of 24:34 Vitality energy enthusiasm and a natural 24:38 fit for the community she served Lily's 24:41 bright bubbly personality will be dearly 24:43 missed by those who knew her she was a 24:46 vibrant smart compassionate young lady 24:48 who impacted the lives of many at her 24:50 school and hundreds including myself are 24:54 utterly heartbroken by her death 24:57 following her death Lily's friends left 24:59 heartfelt messages both online and 25:02 offline one friend said there was 25:04 nothing that you couldn't do beautiful 25:06 girl fly high liil we will miss you 25:09 forever another wrote Lily was the most 25:11 kind caring funny and supportive friend 25:14 there is I could never think that we 25:16 would lose our friend in these 25:18 circumstances her funeral was Private to 25:21 those who knew her with some sections 25:23 being live streamed to the school where 25:25 she worked I hope that those close to 25:28 her will find peace in the coming years 25:30 and I also hope that eventually her 25:33 story will help protect others in the 25:35 future with beautiful weather an Outro 25:37 Eclectic and vibrant culture and many 25:40 things to do Sydney truly is a 25:42 magnificent place to be in fact it is 25:45 often ranked as one of the most livable 25:47 cities in the world but just like 25:49 everywhere that doesn't mean that it's 25:51 exempt from danger Sydney will never 25:53 forget Lily's name and while walking 25:55 around this city it has become evid ENT 25:58 to me that she has touched the hearts of 25:59 many behind every tragedy there is a 26:02 lesson to be learned and whether that be 26:04 in the form of heightening security or 26:07 improving mental health facilities we 26:09 should never stop in our desire to make 26:11 our cities a safer place for 26:18 everyone to this day it isn't precisely 26:21 clear what Paul plans to do with himself 26:23 and with Lily was this his plan all 26:25 along if it was then why did he rent out 26:28 the vehicle did he plan to perhaps dump 26:31 her body elsewhere and carry on with his 26:33 life as if nothing had happened 26:35 unfortunately Paul is the only one to 26:37 know the answers to these questions 26:39 questions which will never be fully 26:41 understood and also as you likely notice 26:44 this is a slight change to our usual 26:45 format so with that in mind while you're 26:48 in the comments section let me know what 26:49 you think if you'd like to follow me in 26:51 my Adventures then please check out my 26:52 social media here most notably my 26:54 Instagram and I think
