investigate this is 0:43 the case of Amanda 0:51 Blackburn our story today takes us to 0:54 the heart of Indianapolis a city steeped 0:56 in Community Values and small town 0:58 Hospitality where you context more than 1:01 83% of its residents identify as 1:03 Christian known as the crossroads of 1:05 America many roads from Michigan 1:07 Illinois Kentucky and Ohio all lead into 1:09 the state of Indiana and directly into 1:11 this bustling City so you can probably 1:14 guess that Indianapolis is a place where 1:16 many paths randomly cross and that 1:18 furthermore people from all walks of 1:19 life unexpectedly come together however 1:22 for the main characters of our story 1:23 today I guarantee you that they wish 1:25 this never happened and so enter 1:28 28-year-old Amanda and her husband 1:31 30-year-old tapy Blackburn known as the 1:33 community's loving pastor and his gentle 1:35 wife the two were a well-respected 1:37 couple with the world at their feet some 1:40 would even call them the perfect 1:42 American family and they were very 1:44 excited about the future amander and 1:46 Davey had moved all the way from South 1:48 Carolina with one objective in mind and 1:50 that was to spread the word of God 1:52 between them they owned the now 1:54 abolished resonant Church in the far 1:56 north of Indianapolis City and although 1:58 it is since closed down it was 2:00 established in 2011 to spread the 2:02 gospel's lifegiving power now usually 2:05 you would assume that those who were 2:06 looking to start their own church would 2:08 normally be in the latter years of their 2:10 lives but not these two amander and 2:13 Davey were young ambitious and modern 2:15 scaling all the way back to the Year 2:17 2006 the two met in Pensacola Christian 2:20 College in Florida and what followed was 2:23 a deep and fiery relationship beginning 2:26 with Amanda she was born in the summer 2:28 of 1987 in asan Michigan her proud 2:31 parents Phil and Robin were already 2:33 highly religious people with her father 2:36 being a pastor at their local church the 2:38 family then moved from Michigan to 2:39 Elkart Indiana alongside her sister 2:42 Amber and brother James in 1995 Amanda 2:45 was known to be a kind and a caring 2:48 child and she was particularly close 2:50 with her siblings growing into her 2:52 teenage years she became exceptionally 2:54 hardworking and ambitious throwing 2:56 herself into her studies and much to her 2:59 parents relief her church too she was 3:01 always well behaved and never had any 3:04 trouble at home or at school she 3:06 eventually graduated from the Elkart 3:08 Christian Academy in the year 2006 3:11 before then bravely moving away from her 3:13 family to Florida and of course as we 3:16 already know this was where she would 3:17 meet the man who would soon become her 3:20 husband and his name was Davey Blackburn 3:23 As for Dave he was a beacon of kindness 3:25 humor and charm and although it's cliche 3:28 to say was apparently always wearing a 3:30 smile that could light up any room as 3:33 Amanda and Davey grew closer over the 3:35 following months they realized that 3:37 their goals for the future were actually 3:38 quite similar while still studying at 3:41 College the two decided to move in 3:43 together before then adopting a dog 3:44 named Mel and it is known that the two 3:47 treated and adored her like their own 3:49 child their photos from this time 3:51 captures countless happy memories in 3:53 each other's company of course with 3:55 their dog by their side in fact by 3:58 August 2008 with which was only 2 years 4:01 after leaving College the two decided 4:03 that their love was so profound and 4:04 certain that they got married and this 4:06 Union would only strengthen their bond 4:08 and bring them even closer and then in 4:11 2011 they decided to move back to 4:13 Indianapolis driven by their shared 4:15 dream of saving lives by spreading 4:17 Christ's word the move would also bring 4:20 Amanda closer to her family which did in 4:22 fact prove to be beneficial as in the 4:25 year 2014 the two would welcome their 4:27 first child to the world a baby boy 4:30 named Weston as a family they continued 4:32 to grow Davey's role as a pastor and 4:35 their work in establishing a church 4:37 brought them great fulfillment in life 4:39 Amanda stayed active by running many 4:41 marathons with her siblings and her 4:43 parents while Davey maintained his 4:45 physical and mental health through 4:47 regular workouts at LA Fitness their 4:49 social media was filled with photos that 4:52 showcased happiness and the rich life 4:54 that they LED surrounded by family 4:56 friends a supportive community and their 4:58 budding Church and then in 2015 their 5:02 richness would deepen even further with 5:04 the announcement of their second child 5:07 amander and Davey were simply Overjoyed 5:09 with the news with Davey convinced that 5:11 they were destined for a daughter whom 5:13 he lovingly named Eevee Grace Blackburn 5:16 however sadly their envisioned future 5:19 was not the one they would receive and 5:21 that's because in November of 2015 their 5:24 world was shattered in the most 5:26 unexpected and harrowing of 5:28 circumstances 5:31 no11 case emergency yes I'm at 2812 5:35 sunnyfield Court 46228 my my wife has 5:38 collapsed she is okay hold on hold on 5:41 hold on stand on line for EMS while I 5:43 transfer 5:45 you fire an ambulance what's the address 5:48 of your emergency 2812 sunnyfield Court 5:53 46228 2812 sunnyfield court is that a 5:57 house or an apartment it is a house 5:59 house and your phone number 6:02 uh and what's wrong there uh my wife I 6:06 just walked in the door coming back from 6:07 the gym she's collapsed she's breathing 6:09 right now but she she she's there's 6:11 blood all over the place coming out of 6:13 her nose it looks like she's still 6:14 breathing I didn't want to turn her over 6:16 the date was November the 10th 2015 and 6:18 just like any other workday Davey woke 6:20 up at around 6:00 a.m. to do his morning 6:22 workout random side note here but maybe 6:25 this is living proof that God actually 6:27 does exist because no amount of caffeine 6:29 could get me out that early finishing 6:31 around 1 hour later he then returned to 6:33 the property at around 7:30 before then 6:35 taking a call in the driveway you see 6:37 Davey was trying to be considerate here 6:39 and so rather than wake Amanda up he 6:42 took that phone call in the car now 6:44 usually this wouldn't be considered a 6:46 suspicious right well unfortunately he 6:49 had no idea that this morning would be 6:51 very different to the several hundred 6:53 before after finishing his phone call 6:55 Davey walked inside to a devastating 6:57 scene Amanda was lying on the floor in a 7:00 pool of her own blood and although she 7:02 was still breathing she was unresponsive 7:05 fears for Western's safety were quickly 7:07 calmed as thankfully he was still 7:09 upstairs safe alive and well as soon as 7:12 he checked to make sure he was okay 7:14 Davey then called emergency services and 7:16 begged them for come to help save 7:18 Amanda's life paramedics arrived quickly 7:21 at the scene where they found Davey at 7:23 the end of the homes driveway with his 7:25 hands covered in blood they determined 7:27 that Amanda had been shot three times 7:29 times once in the back once in the arm 7:32 and a third in the back of her head 7:34 miraculously she was still breathing but 7:37 with her condition being critical time 7:39 was running out she was therefore rushed 7:42 to the hospital in a desperate attempt 7:44 to save her life but despite all the 7:46 efforts made by the paramedics both she 7:49 and her unborn baby would pass away the 7:51 following day with Davey holding his 7:53 wife's hand during her final moments 7:55 before her heart stopped beating this 7:58 tragedy was un imaginably 8:00 heart-wrenching for him leaving him to 8:02 mourn the loss of his wife and their 8:04 future daughter on what had started as 8:06 an ordinary November morning amidst all 8:09 of this grief three pressing questions 8:11 would arise how had this happened who 8:14 was responsible and why Amanda it was 8:18 obvious that Davey's wife had been 8:20 murdered in Cold Blood and someone or at 8:23 least one person was accountable but who 8:27 and why it was now up to the authorities 8:29 to answer those questions through their 8:32 investigation but they too would be left 8:34 dumbfounded the Blackburn family had no 8:37 known enemies debts or even conflicts 8:39 with the community they lived a very 8:41 peaceful and happy lifestyle and were 8:44 well loved by everyone around them so 8:46 despite the investigation beginning the 8:49 question why was still on everybody's 8:51 mind taking a look at the evidence would 8:54 present several Clues to the authorities 8:56 to begin with it appeared that there was 8:58 no Force Breakin Davy and Amanda had 9:01 faith in their community and felt safe 9:03 and trusting with their neighborhood and 9:05 so as a result they rarely ever locked 9:08 their front door and it turns out that 9:10 on the day that Amanda was murdered the 9:12 morning was no different therefore 9:14 allowing her Killers to walk in without 9:16 any contest or conflict the home itself 9:19 was usually very tidy but the crime 9:22 scene was vastly different detectives 9:25 observed large blood spatters alongside 9:27 remnants of brain matter around 5 ft 9:29 from the body meanwhile Amanda was lying 9:32 face down and devoid of clothes found 9:35 next to her was her underwear and a 9:37 scattered mess of mail and bank cards 9:39 and notably not all of them were 9:41 accounted for a pack of swisser cigars a 9:44 pair of earphones and a roll of duct 9:46 tape were all found on the counter Davey 9:48 confirmed that these items did not 9:50 belong to him or his wife and as for 9:53 Amanda's cell phone well that was 9:55 discovered untouched in her bedroom 9:57 which thankfully their dog melt was 9:59 found trapped but safe and Alive there 10:02 was one other piece of evidence too 10:04 Amanda's phone showed a missed call from 10:06 Chase Bank at 7:53 that morning which 10:10 detectives would soon discover turned 10:11 out to be an inquiry about suspicious 10:14 activity on her 10:16 account the entire situation suggested a 10:19 tragedy marked by Killers a home 10:21 invasion gone wrong however with the 10:23 evidence and clues left behind so 10:25 obvious some started to wonder if maybe 10:28 this was a setup some people would even 10:30 highlight how convenient it seemed that 10:32 Davey was out of the property at the 10:34 precise time that Amanda was murdered I 10:36 mean surely this was more than just a 10:39 coincidence right well actually not 10:41 really because Davey's schedule was very 10:43 predictable furthermore if her Killers 10:46 knew that he'd be out for at least an 10:47 hour then they may also know that he 10:49 would leave the front door wide open 10:51 Davey also had not one but several 10:53 confirmed aliis at the gym and as for 10:55 the couple's love life well they were 10:57 absolutely smitten with each other with 10:59 a second baby on the way however aliis 11:02 and information aside this wouldn't stop 11:04 some people from coming to their own 11:06 conclusions unfortunately pastors have 11:09 had a bad rap in the recent decade and 11:11 we've seen many go down for scandals 11:13 abuse and even murder think of John 11:15 White Timothy Tilman or even Helga fosmo 11:18 which we have covered here on coffee 11:19 house crime so at least initially people 11:22 did seem to be quite skeptical of Davey 11:25 in fact I've just read about the 11:26 investigation of a Texas Mega church 11:28 that had to remove four leaders who all 11:31 knew of a pastor's alleged abuse and 11:33 even murder honestly it is crazy how 11:36 often these scandals simply fly under 11:38 the radar but with so many external 11:40 sources influencing our mainstream media 11:43 I guess it is no wonder why and that's 11:45 why I've been using today's sponsor 11:47 straight arrow news to keep up to date 11:49 as they are my choice for unbiased news 11:51 I believe the values are great because 11:53 they for supporting us 12:22 content creators now let's get straight 12:25 back to this case following Amanda's 12:27 tragic murder d launched a campaign to 12:30 draw attention to her case he did this 12:33 by turning to social media engaging with 12:35 local news outlets participating in 12:37 numerous interviews and doing everything 12:39 in his power to spread the news in doing 12:42 so his Hope was to uncover a lead that 12:44 might help identify her killer however 12:47 this activity would also unfortunately 12:50 spur the online amateur sleuths into a 12:52 fry and some of them would even begin to 12:55 suspect that Davey himself was 12:57 responsible for Amanda's death in 12:59 interpreting his helpful actions as 13:01 maybe just a way to try and cover up his 13:03 own tracks They questioned his lack of 13:05 visible grief during interviews wondered 13:07 why he barely cried interrogated the 13:09 12-minute delay before he called 13:11 emergency services and even asked why he 13:13 would swiftly turn to social media to 13:15 cope despite the barrage of online 13:18 accusations Davey's close friends and 13:20 family would rally around him trying to 13:22 Shield him from the hatred he found 13:24 online yet as is human nature Davey of 13:27 course could not help but be affected by 13:29 The public's opinion meanwhile the 13:31 authorities cleared Davey of any 13:33 suspicion whatsoever and instead focused 13:35 their efforts on unraveling the events 13:37 of that fateful morning now there is 13:39 quite a lot of debate around Davy which 13:42 we will come back to later in this video 13:44 but for all intents and purposes the 13:46 detectives were confident that he had 13:48 nothing to do with her murder they 13:50 leaned towards the theory of a home 13:51 invasion gone wrong and in their 13:53 investigation they noted that the 13:55 Blackburn home was not the only target 13:58 of that morning in fact it was only one 14:00 of three homes in the neighborhood to be 14:02 burgled in addition to this several 14:05 others were affected earlier that month 14:07 and this pattern of crime lend Credence 14:09 to their belief that Amanda's murder was 14:11 part of a larger wave of break-ins not 14:14 only that but one of those invasions 14:17 which occurred only one week prior 14:19 involved a masked man breaking in while 14:21 the homeowner was in the shower after 14:23 breaking in he then ushered her out at 14:25 gunpoint before then sexually assaulting 14:28 her and as Grim as that story may be it 14:31 did at least show that it seemed to 14:32 follow the similar motives of both 14:34 thievery and sex high value items such 14:37 as jewelry purses cell phones and 14:40 laptops were stolen in all three 14:42 incidents however spare a credit card 14:44 and a Macbook almost nothing appeared to 14:47 be taken at the Blackburn residence 14:49 therefore leading the authorities to 14:51 believe that The Intruders were likely 14:54 interrupted naturally the neighborhood 14:57 was shaken to its core by Amanda's 14:59 tragic death in an act of solidarity the 15:02 neighbors collectively handed over all 15:04 of their home surveillance footage to 15:06 help the investigating officers and what 15:09 do you know this footage proved to be a 15:11 crucial asset to begin with one neighbor 15:14 recounted hearing what she believed to 15:16 be two gunshots at around 6:30 that 15:19 morning though at the time she dismissed 15:21 them as the investigation deepened more 15:24 neighbors would come forward with 15:25 chilling testimonies several reported 15:28 seeing a shadow shy figure cloaked in 15:30 black and with his hood drawn tight 15:32 suspiciously talking on the phone at 15:34 around 7:00 a.m. before then slipping 15:36 into a silver Chrysler Sebring and after 15:38 looking at the local surveillance 15:40 footage well none of them were lying a 15:43 surveillance camera captured the 15:44 unsettling image of a masked man lurking 15:47 in the shadows before then hopping into 15:49 a vehicle and this vehicle which would 15:51 be the Chrysler would be one of the most 15:53 instrumental pieces of evidence to this 15:55 case and that's because it was not 15:57 actually theirs in the first place but 16:00 stolen only a couple of hours prior at 16:02 5:23 that very same morning a call was 16:05 made to the Indianapolis Police to 16:07 report that a car had been stolen and 16:09 although the owner never saw the 16:11 perpetrator she did wake up to find her 16:13 porch door had been left open and that 16:15 her cell phone laptop purse and car keys 16:18 were all missing and of course her 2007 16:21 Chrysler Sebring was not in the spot she 16:24 had left it now thankfully her 16:26 surveillance camera did manage to catch 16:28 them in the Pro process and from these 16:30 images it is assumed that three men were 16:33 involved with the break-in and given the 16:35 timeline they most likely traveled 16:37 straight to Davies and Amanda's home 16:39 after stealing her vehicle the terrible 16:41 thing is that these men cared so little 16:43 about Amanda being fatally shot that 16:45 they then carried on with their third 16:46 Heist afterwards and we know this to be 16:49 true because only 1 hour later another 16:51 phone call was made to 911 reporting yet 16:53 another burglary with surveillance 16:55 cameras in the area capturing the same 16:57 three people now I think we've all been 17:00 in a situation before where we're doing 17:02 something that's a little bit stupid or 17:03 Reckless at least I know I have but 17:05 usually if I hurt myself or have an 17:07 accident I then stop and think about 17:10 what I'm doing but not these guys 17:12 despite literally murdering someone 17:14 after a botched robbery they then 17:15 decided to go on with a little Escapade 17:18 to answer that they didn't seem to be in 17:20 much of a hurry either because with the 17:21 homeowners currently out they decided to 17:23 help themselves to an array of 17:25 belongings this included four 17:27 televisions a universal remote a MacBook 17:30 Pro a Tiffany pole necklace an expensive 17:32 sweater some bed sheets and even a bag 17:35 of oranges in addition to their rather 17:37 healthy portion of vitamin C our Three 17:39 Musketeers decided to then put their 17:41 feet up and help themselves to several 17:43 bottles of wine not quite the nutritious 17:45 Choice especially at 8:00 a.m. they 17:47 would even leave these bottles behind 17:49 which was great for officers by the way 17:51 it made collecting their DNA very 17:55 easy however the most concrete piece of 17:58 evidence in in this investigation was of 18:00 course the stolen car and although the 18:02 license plate had been removed as soon 18:04 as they stole the vehicle the 18:05 authorities still had the make model and 18:07 color this made it quite easy for 18:10 officers to find it in fact it was so 18:12 easy that they discovered the vehicle 18:14 only one day later and that's because 18:16 whoever decided to dump the vehicle only 18:18 did so several minutes away from the 18:21 crime scene inside the vehicle 18:23 investigators discovered an assortment 18:25 of items including an extra extra large 18:27 men sweater a bag of oranges a universal 18:30 remote a pink men's shirt and an ATM 18:32 receipt that indicated a failed payment 18:35 to withdraw $500 from Amanda's now 18:37 missing debit card the ATM receipt was 18:40 then traced back to a gas station which 18:42 was near Amanda's and Davey's home 18:45 police officers realized that while one 18:47 of the men had tried to conceal his 18:49 identity by wrapping the pink shirt 18:51 around his face he had also failed to 18:53 remember to take that shirt with him 18:55 when he abandoned the car and of course 18:58 such a stupid move would leave behind an 19:00 easy trace of DNA on the shirt DNA that 19:04 would ultimately come back with a key 19:06 Link in solving this case and that's 19:08 because the DNA matched to 21-year-old 19:11 jayen e Watson a man who had recently 19:13 been released on parle for surprise 19:16 surprise burglary while analyzing his 19:18 profile officers discovered that 19:20 Watson's previous crimes were in fact 19:23 connected with an accomplice named Dio 19:25 Gordon it turns out that both men were 19:27 being monitored during their parole 19:29 which included tracking of their cell 19:31 phone activity and after some rather 19:33 careful triangulation they realized that 19:35 this monitoring confirmed that both men 19:38 were at all three locations of the 19:40 burglaries that morning with the ATM 19:42 machine included further investigations 19:45 showed that Watson and Gordon made 19:47 several phone calls that morning which 19:49 included a third individual that being 19:51 18-year-old Larry Joe Taylor Jr and just 19:55 like that the authorities finally had 19:57 her three guys after triangulating their 20:00 cell phone numbers investigators 20:01 realized that all three suspects had 20:03 been together the night prior and after 20:05 visiting their landlord she was able to 20:07 confirm that they had left together at 20:09 approximately 3:30 that morning taking 20:12 her boyfriend's handgun and a shirt with 20:14 them in the process both of these items 20:16 would positively match the evidence 20:18 recovered from the crime scene with the 20:20 gun even matching a second murder 20:21 committed earlier that month and so only 20:24 11 days after Amanda's death Larry Joe 20:27 Taylor was arrested on suspicion of 20:28 murder theft and breaking and entering 20:31 and by December both Jaylen and Dio 20:34 followed perhaps one of my favorite 20:36 patterns here but when multiple parties 20:38 are arrested it is relatively common for 20:41 them to turn on each other in the 20:42 process and of course this would happen 20:45 between these three suspects it's kind 20:47 of like watching an argument happen 20:48 between three clowns at the circus but 20:51 instead of a pie on the face the 20:52 argument is served with lifetime 20:54 punishments Dio was the first one to 20:57 cave in accepting a plead deal in 20:59 exchange for throwing his friends under 21:01 the bus according to him all three had 21:03 agreed to Rob multiple homes that 21:05 morning however it was Larry who 21:07 suggested they bring a gun after 21:09 breaking and entering Larry would then 21:11 enter the victim's bedroom while they 21:12 slept this was probably more for the 21:15 adrenaline kick than anything else and 21:17 well he was safe with that firearm in 21:19 his hand but unfortunately this would 21:22 not work with Amanda and in response the 21:24 crime changed from robbery to a hostage 21:27 situation armed with the handgun Larry 21:29 held Amanda hostage while the other two 21:31 then drove to an ATM machine with her 21:33 credit card phone records would show 21:35 that they kept in contact through 21:37 multiple phone calls over this time 21:39 frame and when her pin failed Larry 21:41 realized that Amanda was not prepared to 21:44 part with her money that is when he hung 21:46 up the phone and then forced himself 21:48 upon her amidst the struggle he then 21:50 shot her three times with Amanda 21:52 collapsing in the process after that he 21:55 then phoned his friends to pick him up 21:57 which further explains the surveillance 21:59 footage capturing him getting into the 22:00 krysler Diana would also tell the 22:03 investigators that Larry seemed to be 22:05 proud of his actions and had even stood 22:07 over her while he watched her bleed out 22:10 unfazed by the events he then told them 22:12 to focus and prepare for their third and 22:14 final home in light of the news Larry's 22:17 charges were therefore upgraded to one 22:19 count of burglary robbery resulting in 22:21 serious bodly harm criminal confinement 22:24 auto theft carrying a gun without a 22:26 license and two counts of felony murder 22:29 for reasons that will soon become 22:31 important to the story it is worth 22:33 noting here that his two murder charges 22:35 were focused on Amanda and the man he 22:37 had allegedly murdered earlier in the 22:39 same year but not Amanda's baby Dio held 22:42 up his plea deal against Larry and jayen 22:45 was close to follow behind and so 22:47 ultimately with both men now against him 22:50 Larry was sure to lose his trial 22:53 eventually I say eventually because 22:55 rather frustratingly there would be two 22:57 Mist trials before any deliberation took 22:59 place and this was due to technicalities 23:01 around Amanda's pregnancy you see with 23:04 there being no murder charges related to 23:06 Amanda's baby the judge declared that no 23:08 mention of a pregnancy was allowed 23:10 during his trial but with several 23:12 members of the jury declaring their own 23:13 acknowledgement of her pregnancy it 23:15 meant that sadly the trial could not 23:17 proceed as a result Larry agreed to a 23:20 bench trial which meant that no jury was 23:22 needed and only the judge would 23:23 determine his fate which he is probably 23:25 regretting now because that judge would 23:27 go down on him like a sack of potatoes 23:30 ultimately Larry Taylor was found guilty 23:32 on all counts and sentenced to 86 years 23:35 behind bars meaning that he will never 23:37 walk as a free man again the trials of 23:40 diano Gordon and Jaylen Watson occurred 23:42 earlier in March of 2021 and with their 23:45 plea deals in place they were charged 23:47 with two counts of burglary and a charge 23:49 of robbery resulting in serious bodily 23:51 harm with five other charges against the 23:53 men dropped as a result of their plea 23:55 deal jayen received 29 years in prison 23:58 which was eventually reduced to 15 with 24:00 at least 10 years to be served Behind 24:02 Bars Dio on the other hand received 30 24:05 years for his involvement with 25 to be 24:07 spent Behind Bars and five on probation 24:10 now I have no idea why jaylen's and Dio 24:13 sentences were so different in this case 24:15 considering Diana was the first to agree 24:17 to a plea deal and cooperate with the 24:19 officers you would expect him to receive 24:22 a shter sentence and not longer yeah but 24:25 then again who cares with their trials 24:27 taking place in 20 21 and 2022 Amanda's 24:31 loved ones would have to endure seven 24:32 long years of pain before they could 24:34 finally seek closure with Davey who had 24:37 lost his wife and his unborn baby in the 24:39 process at the epicenter of this anguish 24:42 he admits that following the murder he 24:44 felt rage like any other and had to 24:47 fight thoughts of bigotry and racism 24:49 towards Amanda's Killers but throughout 24:52 those seven years he eventually learned 24:54 to see them in a different light and 24:56 finally show mercy no doubt religion 24:58 must have played a massive part in his 25:00 healing 25:03 process however there was some 25:05 controversy around Davey's story and 25:07 that's because not even one year after 25:09 Amanda's death he found himself in a new 25:11 relationship and then one year after he 25:14 was remarried now of course there is no 25:17 written rule in how one should grieve or 25:19 not grieve after the death of their 25:20 partner but some did find it quite odd 25:23 how quickly he moved on personally I 25:25 think I'm in the middle with this one 25:27 because I don't think I could do the the 25:28 same but I do understand that some 25:30 people are different obviously this 25:32 decision would only fuel some of his 25:34 doubters even further and in fact even 25:36 to this day some still believe he was 25:39 involved but honestly I think this is 25:41 quite ridiculous because not only was 25:43 there no evidence to tie Davey to the 25:45 crime scene but none of her Killers 25:47 tried to blame him either despite moving 25:49 on with this new life Amanda still seems 25:51 to be on his mind with every day that 25:53 passes in his book he light-heartedly 25:56 says I always joke about this that one 25:59 day we're going to get to heaven and I'm 26:00 going to get a chance to introduce the 26:02 two of them and then they're going to 26:04 talk about all their frustrations with 26:05 me and they're going to share all kinds 26:07 of beautiful memories of Weston with 26:09 Amanda having been an avid Runner Davey 26:11 feels as if Amanda has passed the Batton 26:14 on to christe it wasn't something she 26:16 voluntarily did because well obviously 26:19 Amanda didn't know that this was going 26:21 to happen but it's something that helps 26:23 Davey and christe keep their minds and 26:25 memories at peace much like the rest of 26:28 her loved ones they remember Amanda as a 26:30 beautiful loving and selfless individual 26:33 who would have done anything to help 26:34 another person out her family and loved 26:37 ones feel deep sadness through their 26:39 loss a loss that will likely never be 26:42 refilled I'm going to end this video 26:44 with one more quote from Davey's book in 26:47 his words he said Amanda was probably 26:50 the most selfless person you have ever 26:52 met in your entire life she made her 26:54 life about other people and that's why 26:57 people were so impacted by her we all 26:59 felt like Amanda cared about us loved us 27:02 because she didn't make her life about 27:04 herself I think that is one of the most 27:06 amazing attributes about Amanda is that 27:09 she lived her life for something bigger 27:11 than herself and she wanted her life to 27:13 be poured out to help other people she 27:16 was faithful she was steadfast she was 27:19 balanced she was 27:22 rhythmic you know I think this is one of 27:24 those stories where although it's fully 27:26 solved there's always going to be about 27:27 10% % of people who watch this and still 27:29 think Davey was involved again though I 27:32 really don't see how but as always I'd 27:34 love to know what you think about this 27:35 one so please do share your thoughts 27:37 below with that said I think I've pretty 27:39 much come to the end of this story thank 27:41 you so much for watching
