That's our goal There are men in 00:00:23.780 --> 00:00:26.879 the world and we would say yeah that guy's acting 00:00:26.879 --> 00:00:29.539 as a man because he's doing the things a man 00:00:29.539 --> 00:00:32.789 should do But he's not a biblical man because 00:00:32.789 --> 00:00:35.469 he's not a Christian. He's not ordering his life 00:00:35.469 --> 00:00:39.990 according to God's ways or not seeking God's 00:00:39.990 --> 00:00:44.929 glory. So our goal is to be a man, be doing these 00:00:44.929 --> 00:00:48.250 things that men should do, but with a proper 00:00:48.250 --> 00:00:53.149 motivation and in addition to those things, a 00:00:53.149 --> 00:00:57.270 biblical man does spiritual things as well. He's 00:00:57.270 --> 00:01:01.479 not just doing these outward things. but he's 00:01:01.479 --> 00:01:03.579 ordering his spiritual life in a certain way 00:01:03.579 --> 00:01:06.599 also. Okay, so I want to make that distinction. 00:01:08.379 --> 00:01:11.560 That's our goal. Now the woman 00:06:32.540 --> 00:06:35.660 was also told to take some dominion there when 00:06:35.660 --> 00:06:39.740 the Lord, He spoke that command to both of them, 00:06:39.839 --> 00:06:42.420 be fruitful and multiply, subdue the earth and 00:06:42.420 --> 00:06:45.939 so on. But we see Adam given authority there 00:06:45.939 --> 00:06:48.480 in the naming, naming of all the creatures, and 00:06:48.480 --> 00:06:51.600 then he names Eve. She's brought to him. And 00:06:51.600 --> 00:06:54.319 what was Eve called? She was called a helper. 00:06:55.259 --> 00:07:00.060 Was Adam anywhere called a helper? No, he wasn't. 00:07:00.360 --> 00:07:03.459 We see elsewhere in the New Testament the fact 00:07:03.459 --> 00:07:06.959 that a man is to lead.
