What has the Lord been 00:01:34.739 --> 00:01:38.420 speaking to us as Life Bible Church? Now, obviously, 00:01:39.180 --> 00:01:42.250 we're connected to the whole church, meaning 00:01:42.250 --> 00:01:44.890 what is God doing around the world, but he also 00:01:44.890 --> 00:01:47.390 in different countries, different regions, different 00:01:47.390 --> 00:01:50.390 seasons, he's also speaking various things to 00:01:50.390 --> 00:01:53.689 his church. I believe that not only in Life Bible 00:01:53.689 --> 00:01:58.290 Church, but in our Western region and certainly 00:01:58.290 --> 00:02:01.670 in America, God is dealing with some things of 00:02:01.670 --> 00:02:06.030 bringing the church. out of their mindset of 00:02:06.030 --> 00:02:10.210 a certain form of slavery and into a freedom 00:02:10.210 --> 00:02:14.189 of understanding who we are supposed to be in 00:02:14.189 --> 00:02:17.270 Christ. For Life Bible particularly, we've had 00:02:17.270 --> 00:02:22.039 this last year has been a message on... digging 00:02:22.039 --> 00:02:24.379 down, and we're still not done with that message, 00:02:24.500 --> 00:02:27.919 but digging down into the scriptures on being 00:02:27.919 --> 00:02:30.759 what we call the something more church. And we 00:02:30.759 --> 00:02:32.780 can put that up there. I'll eventually get to 00:02:32.780 --> 00:02:36.099 it if time allows. The something more church. 00:02:36.240 --> 00:02:39.280 And in that process, we're talking about the 00:02:39.280 --> 00:02:43.360 something more, meaning it's got more than just 00:02:43.360 --> 00:02:48.199 one message. Now there is one message. Jesus 00:02:48.199 --> 00:02:51.930 Christ is savior and he is king. He's the lamb 00:02:51.930 --> 00:02:55.469 of God and he is the king. And it means that 00:02:55.469 --> 00:02:58.469 we, if you're going to have a relationship with 00:02:58.469 --> 00:03:02.270 a father, Jesus said of himself in John 14, he 00:03:02.270 --> 00:03:04.909 said, I am the way, the truth and the life. No 00:03:04.909 --> 00:03:07.969 man can come to the father, but by me. Well, 00:03:08.050 --> 00:03:12.349 in that reality though, there's more than what 00:03:12.349 --> 00:03:16.949 it just means to get saved. It means that there's 00:03:17.310 --> 00:03:20.650 All the things that he paid for that he wants 00:03:20.650 --> 00:03:24.449 us to walk in as mature sons and daughters. And 00:03:24.449 --> 00:03:27.729 that's the theme of the Something More Church. 00:03:27.909 --> 00:03:32.030 The theme is, yes, we want everyone to experience 00:03:32.030 --> 00:03:35.189 what Jesus paid for. But the first experience 00:03:35.189 --> 00:03:39.110 they have to have is meeting him, being introduced 00:03:39.110 --> 00:03:42.569 to him, them surrendering their life to him and 00:03:42.569 --> 00:03:45.409 him coming to live inside of him. But that's 00:03:45.409 --> 00:03:48.710 not the end of the story. That's where the American 00:03:48.710 --> 00:03:54.150 church seems to park everybody is they park everybody 00:03:54.150 --> 00:03:58.069 right at the entrance of the gate. And I've said 00:03:58.069 --> 00:04:01.629 this before, how stinking upset would your kids 00:04:01.629 --> 00:04:05.849 be if all you did is say, I got a pass. I've 00:04:05.849 --> 00:04:08.830 got all the hopper passes. I've paid for everything 00:04:08.830 --> 00:04:11.330 for Disneyland. We got the quick lightning passes. 00:04:11.370 --> 00:04:16.329 We got the VIP and you go inside the gate. And 00:04:16.329 --> 00:04:17.930 you say, okay, kids, we made it. We're gonna 00:04:17.930 --> 00:04:22.910 stay right here. They're some upset little critters. 00:04:23.889 --> 00:04:29.350 Why? But my Bible says there 00:06:33.079 --> 00:06:38.399 is way more once you enter salvation than you 00:06:38.399 --> 00:06:41.449 have yet to experience. And that he actually 00:06:41.449 --> 00:06:44.730 sends the Holy Spirit. He sends messengers to 00:06:44.730 --> 00:06:47.829 actually bring you into the fullness of what 00:06:47.829 --> 00:06:50.790 he's paid for. And that's what the something 00:06:50.790 --> 00:06:53.509 more church is supposed to be. The more church 00:06:53.509 --> 00:06:56.769 is you. Because the word church is the word ecclesia. 00:06:56.870 --> 00:07:02.050 And it means the assembly that now understands 00:07:02.050 --> 00:07:06.370 that they have been sent with power and authority. 00:07:07.230 --> 00:07:11.029 to bring the atmosphere of heaven to now the 00:07:11.029 --> 00:07:14.009 place that they live. The whole theme this morning from the prayer 00:07:16.930 --> 00:07:20.990 room to first service to today with water baptisms 00:07:20.990 --> 00:07:23.930 was what? The word of the Lord that came to us 00:07:23.930 --> 00:07:28.189 was the anointing oil. What is that about? It's 00:07:28.189 --> 00:07:31.370 about partnership with the substance of heaven. 00:07:31.649 --> 00:07:34.829 That's what the anointing is. The anointing is, 00:07:34.930 --> 00:07:39.660 if you will, empowerment of the Holy Spirit that 00:07:39.660 --> 00:07:44.279 comes in you and comes upon you to do something 00:07:44.279 --> 00:07:50.120 that in your natural ability, you cannot do. 00:07:50.240 --> 00:07:53.899 It takes the anointing to release the kingdom 00:07:53.899 --> 00:07:56.560 of God. And then 00:08:02.139 --> 00:08:04.480 I'm going to move forward to Psalms 23 in a bit. 00:08:04.819 --> 00:08:10.129 Isaiah 10, Verse 27 says this, and it will remove 00:08:10.129 --> 00:08:15.430 the yoke from off of your neck by destroying 00:08:15.430 --> 00:08:20.769 the yoke by the anointing oil. God says he breaks 00:08:20.769 --> 00:08:25.310 yokes by the anointing. How does he do that? 00:08:25.410 --> 00:08:28.610 A yoke is what? A yoke is something that you 00:08:28.610 --> 00:08:31.250 have to put your neck through or comes around 00:08:31.250 --> 00:08:34.570 your neck that is meant for you to carry a burden. 00:08:35.980 --> 00:08:39.200 Yokes can represent iron stanchions because that's 00:08:39.200 --> 00:08:41.039 what they load up prisoners with when they have 00:08:41.039 --> 00:08:43.919 to move them is an iron bar and their hands are 00:08:43.919 --> 00:08:46.559 over that bar like this and they're yoked around 00:08:46.559 --> 00:08:48.679 their neck. It's what a yoke, you can put it 00:08:48.679 --> 00:08:51.080 on a beast of burden, whether it be a donkey 00:08:51.080 --> 00:08:53.519 or whether it be a mule or whether it be an oxen. 00:08:53.960 --> 00:08:57.179 Yoke comes over them and then it's to tie and 00:08:57.179 --> 00:09:01.100 to pull. Everything that represents a yoke represents 00:09:01.100 --> 00:09:04.639 something that comes on them that removes liberty 00:09:04.639 --> 00:09:09.360 but actually fastens them into a form of slavery. 00:09:10.500 --> 00:09:15.240 And what the American church, and I'm not from 00:09:15.240 --> 00:09:18.139 the... country that they're now living in. But 00:09:18.139 --> 00:09:22.679 sometimes we who are supposed to be free in Christ 00:09:22.679 --> 00:09:26.080 actually sometimes have the greatest yoke on 00:09:26.080 --> 00:09:28.980 our lives because we don't understand what we've 00:09:28.980 --> 00:09:32.820 been given. And those that come from communist 00:09:32.820 --> 00:09:34.860 countries or closed countries, and I've been 00:09:34.860 --> 00:09:36.679 to closed countries around the world and been 00:09:36.679 --> 00:09:40.039 snuck into places, the freedom that... Christians 00:09:40.039 --> 00:09:43.139 have there is way different than the freedom 00:09:43.139 --> 00:09:46.480 we have here. Why? They understand the privilege 00:09:46.480 --> 00:09:49.519 of what Jesus Christ paid for. And because it's 00:09:49.519 --> 00:09:51.659 a closed country and they don't have freedoms 00:09:51.659 --> 00:09:55.860 in the natural, their freedom is precious to 00:09:55.860 --> 00:09:58.799 them to operate in the fullness of what God has 00:09:58.799 --> 00:10:02.620 given them. And the key of what God is trying 00:10:02.620 --> 00:10:06.240 to awake in all of us, especially here on the 00:10:06.240 --> 00:10:11.529 West Coast, To awaken us as people that have 00:10:11.529 --> 00:10:15.389 been in slumber. Why would he want to do that? 00:10:15.470 --> 00:10:18.509 Well, because he wants to actually have a representation 00:10:18.509 --> 00:10:22.889 of what it means to have a group of people that 00:10:22.889 --> 00:10:27.190 actually live and function in the anointing. 00:10:28.470 --> 00:10:34.149 You see, you can be saved and not operate in 00:10:34.149 --> 00:10:39.019 the anointing. You'd be saved and not operate 00:10:39.019 --> 00:10:46.440 in the anointing. The key, the gospel for the 00:10:46.440 --> 00:10:54.399 most part in America is an anoint, has no anointing 00:10:54.399 --> 00:10:59.080 for greater things than just the gospel. That's 00:10:59.080 --> 00:11:04.600 what's shared in most Sunday churches. Why? Because 00:11:04.600 --> 00:11:07.649 you have spiritual influencers. that all that 00:11:07.649 --> 00:11:09.870 they want to do is speak to the lowest common 00:11:09.870 --> 00:11:13.169 denominator in Christianity. Let me say that 00:11:13.169 --> 00:11:15.950 again. I know this sounds like I'm pulling out 00:11:15.950 --> 00:11:21.769 a weapon and shooting it, and I am. I'm shooting 00:11:21.769 --> 00:11:26.990 the elephant in the room. Why? Because I'm not 00:11:26.990 --> 00:11:31.309 preaching to the lowest common denominator. Yes, 00:11:31.429 --> 00:11:34.460 you have to get saved. Through Jesus Christ, 00:11:34.559 --> 00:11:37.419 he is the only way to get to heaven. But there 00:11:37.419 --> 00:11:42.220 is so much more in that Bible than just you getting 00:11:42.220 --> 00:11:45.919 saved. It's about you actually being a conduit 00:11:45.919 --> 00:11:50.279 and a vessel filled with his presence, with his 00:11:50.279 --> 00:11:54.080 power, with his word, and operating through faith 00:11:54.080 --> 00:11:57.620 that you would now go do the works that Jesus 00:11:57.620 --> 00:12:03.659 does and did. And that's... The full gospel. 00:12:04.120 --> 00:12:10.000 The full gospel is, now I send you. Heal the 00:12:10.000 --> 00:12:15.639 sick. Cast out devils. Come on. Yes, that 00:12:58.340 --> 00:13:00.460 message needs to be preached. The gospel, there 00:13:00.460 --> 00:13:03.480 needs to be a net. always thrown in. But if it 00:13:03.480 --> 00:13:06.679 never told me that I could operate in faith, 00:13:06.779 --> 00:13:09.779 grow in faith of the same works that Jesus did, 00:13:09.879 --> 00:13:13.100 I could now do in my life because of my relationship 00:13:13.100 --> 00:13:15.860 with Jesus, because the word formed in me, I 00:13:15.860 --> 00:13:18.720 would now all of a sudden think, well, all I'm 00:13:18.720 --> 00:13:20.980 doing is I'm getting saved so I can go to heaven. 00:13:21.059 --> 00:13:23.639 I don't need the body of Christ. And when 00:13:36.820 --> 00:13:39.419 I get in a mandate that says, I don't need the 00:13:39.419 --> 00:13:42.340 church, I don't need anybody else because my 00:13:42.340 --> 00:13:46.159 relationship with Jesus is just like a quickie 00:13:46.159 --> 00:13:49.460 mark. I go in, get what I need, and that's just 00:13:49.460 --> 00:13:54.389 for me. It's never designed that way. In fact, 00:13:54.470 --> 00:13:56.850 if you got the real, are you all right? I'm gonna 00:13:56.850 --> 00:13:58.289 preach at you a little bit because we're just 00:13:58.289 --> 00:14:00.490 in second gear. We haven't got to third and fourth 00:14:00.490 --> 00:14:05.570 yet. Come on. The issue is when you come to church, 00:14:05.730 --> 00:14:09.009 you're coming to church to what? Engage with 00:14:09.009 --> 00:14:12.409 the presence of God to get filled, to worship 00:14:12.409 --> 00:14:16.610 and to be inspired to do what? Go and let Jesus 00:14:16.610 --> 00:14:20.919 live through you. That's the whole point. You want some meat. How many meat 00:14:38.279 --> 00:14:40.940 eaters do I have here in the house of God? The anointing 00:16:10.139 --> 00:16:14.440 oil itself. Psalms 133. Jesus said, how good 00:16:14.440 --> 00:16:17.120 and how pleasant. This is in Psalms. David write 00:16:17.120 --> 00:16:19.019 it as the spirit of God was writing through him. 00:16:19.080 --> 00:16:21.539 How good and how pleasant it is when brothers 00:16:21.539 --> 00:16:25.100 dwell together in unity. It is like the oil, 00:16:25.320 --> 00:16:29.019 the precious oil running down on the high priest, 00:16:29.200 --> 00:16:31.899 on the beard, on the beard, on the collar, down 00:16:31.899 --> 00:16:35.440 on the robes. What was that significant of? And I'm telling you it does 00:17:02.419 --> 00:17:03.960 because I got it memorized and I'm seeing it 00:17:03.960 --> 00:17:06.940 right there on the page. Jesus is the high priest 00:17:06.940 --> 00:17:09.920 and the apostle of our faith. What did they do 00:17:09.920 --> 00:17:13.119 in every Old Testament scripture? Because Hebrews 00:17:13.119 --> 00:17:16.680 is the book that compares the old covenant with 00:17:16.680 --> 00:17:19.880 the new covenant. Hebrews, the theme of Hebrews 00:17:19.880 --> 00:17:22.880 is you're living now in a better covenant than 00:17:22.880 --> 00:17:25.200 what they had because of Jesus.
