Chapter 4, John 4, 43. 00:11:51.389 --> 00:11:55.330 After two days he departed from there and went 00:11:55.330 --> 00:12:01.350 into Galilee. And the Bible says in 45. Then 00:12:01.350 --> 00:12:05.230 when he was come into Galilee, the Galileans 00:12:05.230 --> 00:12:11.610 received him. That's a big secret. They received 00:12:11.610 --> 00:12:15.210 him. And in these, lay a great 00:15:20.100 --> 00:15:26.019 multitude of impotent folk, blind, halt, withering, 00:15:26.159 --> 00:15:31.639 waiting for the moving of the water. Now, I want 00:15:31.639 --> 00:15:34.019 you to just see this for a moment. I want you 00:15:34.019 --> 00:15:42.240 to see a crowd of miserable people, and for them, 00:15:43.240 --> 00:15:47.720 Their miracle was all locked up until one stirring 00:15:47.720 --> 00:15:50.559 of the water and then was over again. Locked 00:15:50.559 --> 00:15:56.840 up. Blind people. Horribly sick people. Bible 00:15:56.840 --> 00:16:00.940 says it was a great crowd. A great multitude. 00:16:00.960 --> 00:16:04.600 And nothing was happening for most of them. In 00:16:04.600 --> 00:16:07.779 fact, you know the story of a certain man in 00:16:07.779 --> 00:16:11.179 verse 5 that was there which had an infirmity 00:16:11.179 --> 00:16:14.250 there for 30 years. and 8 years. And when Jesus 00:16:14.250 --> 00:16:17.070 saw him lie and knew that he had been there a 00:16:17.070 --> 00:16:20.149 long time in that case, asked him, do you want 00:16:20.149 --> 00:16:27.309 to be healed? Can you imagine? Just imagine this 00:16:27.309 --> 00:16:36.230 for a moment. 38 years. Can you imagine what 00:16:36.230 --> 00:16:41.409 you can achieve in 38 years? Can you imagine 00:16:41.409 --> 00:16:46.799 what kind of fortune you can amass in 38 years. 00:16:47.039 --> 00:16:50.159 Can you imagine how many homes you can build 00:16:50.159 --> 00:16:56.480 in 38 years? Can you just imagine how much learning 00:16:56.480 --> 00:17:03.879 you can acquire in 38 years? 38 years! His miracle 00:17:03.879 --> 00:17:10.480 remained locked up. Now, Jesus shows up asking 00:17:10.480 --> 00:17:12.619 him, do you want to be healed? You know, you 00:17:12.619 --> 00:17:15.319 can sometimes wonder, why did he say that? Well, 00:17:15.400 --> 00:17:17.460 because, I mean, you know, the man told Jesus, 00:17:17.599 --> 00:17:20.740 you know, every time he says, when I come, somebody 00:17:20.740 --> 00:17:26.019 else gets in before me. 38 years! You would imagine 00:17:26.019 --> 00:17:29.460 this man would go and sit there on the very edge. 00:17:30.859 --> 00:17:34.200 I've missed it once.
