Now most of us understand that the 00:22:13.930 --> 00:22:16.710 number seven most often represents, you'd say, 00:22:16.750 --> 00:22:21.309 rest or completeness or fullness, or some of 00:22:21.309 --> 00:22:24.019 you would even say perfection. And that's a good 00:22:24.019 --> 00:22:26.019 definition. That's a good working definition 00:22:26.019 --> 00:22:28.900 of seven. That'll help us understand the cycle 00:22:28.900 --> 00:22:32.220 of seven. We're contending for rest, for completion, 00:22:32.539 --> 00:22:35.140 for fullness, or for perfection. Here's something 00:22:57.990 --> 00:23:00.490 very simple. How about seven days of the week? 00:23:01.490 --> 00:23:04.910 That's a cycle of sevens, right? Okay. How about 00:23:04.910 --> 00:23:07.509 the seven feasts of the Lord? That's a cycle 00:23:07.509 --> 00:23:10.970 of sevens. The Levitical purification process 00:23:10.970 --> 00:23:15.450 in the Bible takes seven days. Seven days for 00:23:15.450 --> 00:23:18.450 them to be purified. That in the Bible is what 00:23:18.450 --> 00:23:22.000 we would call a seasonal... cycle of seven. Just 00:23:22.000 --> 00:23:24.500 a few examples there. There's many. Now, what 00:23:24.500 --> 00:23:27.079 about an example of a generational cycle of seven? 00:23:27.299 --> 00:23:29.500 What would that look like in the Bible? How about 00:23:29.500 --> 00:23:33.240 70 years old? 70 years of age, biblically, would 00:23:33.240 --> 00:23:41.099 constitute a cycle, a cycle of sevens. Now, seven 00:23:41.099 --> 00:23:45.019 times seven is 49 years. Is that right? Pretty 00:26:20.609 --> 00:26:23.750 amazing, cycles of seven, prophetic cycles of 00:26:23.750 --> 00:26:26.069 seven to accomplish something. Here's another 00:26:26.069 --> 00:26:29.380 one, Enoch. The Bible says that Enoch was the 00:26:29.380 --> 00:26:32.460 seventh generation from Adam. He prophesied into 00:26:32.460 --> 00:26:35.579 this time. There was a prophetic cycle of sevens 00:26:35.579 --> 00:26:37.480 with Enoch being the seventh generation from 00:26:37.480 --> 00:26:39.980 Adam. If you'll watch the Bible pattern, the 00:26:39.980 --> 00:26:42.960 seventh generation from there on out prophesied 00:26:42.960 --> 00:26:47.220 right into our time.
