This is how he said it in John 00:03:37.500 --> 00:03:41.159 chapter seven, verse 37. On the last day, that 00:03:41.159 --> 00:03:43.879 great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried 00:03:43.879 --> 00:03:46.759 out, saying, if anyone thirsts, let him come 00:03:46.759 --> 00:03:50.319 to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the 00:03:50.319 --> 00:03:54.319 scripture has said, out of his heart will flow, 00:03:54.580 --> 00:03:59.819 let's all say it, rivers of living water. But 00:03:59.819 --> 00:04:02.759 this he spoke concerning the spirit whom those 00:04:02.759 --> 00:04:05.960 believing in him would receive, for the Holy 00:04:05.960 --> 00:04:08.939 Spirit was not yet given because Jesus was not 00:04:08.939 --> 00:04:12.819 yet glorified. He wanted them to Be filled with, he wanted 00:04:19.629 --> 00:04:24.610 them to experience the river of God. Out of your 00:04:24.610 --> 00:04:29.009 life, out of your heart would flow rivers of 00:04:29.009 --> 00:04:33.490 living water. Years, hundreds of years before 00:04:33.490 --> 00:04:36.149 the prophet Ezekiel received a vision from God. 00:04:36.939 --> 00:04:39.160 And it too was about the river. And a messenger 00:04:39.160 --> 00:04:42.060 from heaven was sent to him as he began to have 00:04:42.060 --> 00:04:44.680 this vision from the Lord about what it was going 00:04:44.680 --> 00:04:47.319 to be like as the house of the Lord was established 00:04:47.319 --> 00:04:50.579 and built in this season and time. Jesus, I think, 00:04:50.579 --> 00:04:54.019 confirming it in John 7. But in Ezekiel 47, the 00:04:54.019 --> 00:04:56.899 prophet encounters this messenger from God with 00:04:56.899 --> 00:05:00.720 this incredible vision. The Bible says in Ezekiel 00:05:00.720 --> 00:05:03.519 47 verse one that he brought me back to the door 00:05:03.519 --> 00:05:06.160 of the temple and there was water flowing from 00:05:06.160 --> 00:05:08.000 under the threshold of the temple toward the 00:05:08.000 --> 00:05:10.699 east for the front of the temple faced east. 00:05:11.100 --> 00:05:14.199 The water was flowing from under the right side 00:05:14.199 --> 00:05:16.720 of the temple south of the altar. He brought 00:05:16.720 --> 00:05:19.019 me out by way of the north gate and led me around 00:05:19.019 --> 00:05:21.379 on the outside to the outer gateway that faces 00:05:21.379 --> 00:05:24.920 east and there was water running out on the right 00:05:24.920 --> 00:05:28.329 side. Its swamps and marshes will 00:08:01.639 --> 00:08:06.139 not be healed. They will be given over to salt. 00:08:07.100 --> 00:08:11.439 How is the salt and marsh formed? How does a 00:08:11.439 --> 00:08:14.680 swamp and marsh get... birth or how does that 00:08:14.680 --> 00:08:17.180 occur? Let me tell you how it happens. River's 00:08:17.180 --> 00:08:19.639 flowing and all of a sudden the part of the river 00:08:19.639 --> 00:08:24.720 gets diverted, gets distracted, gets disconnected 00:08:24.720 --> 00:08:28.389 from the flow of the river. And what happens 00:08:28.389 --> 00:08:32.210 is that part goes over and becomes still. Now 00:08:32.210 --> 00:08:36.129 there's no flow. Now there's no infusion or release 00:08:36.129 --> 00:08:38.370 and flow of the river through it. Now it just 00:08:38.370 --> 00:08:41.909 becomes stopped up, held up, and the water begins 00:08:41.909 --> 00:08:45.850 to die because it has become disconnected from 00:08:45.850 --> 00:08:49.629 the river. I'm going to speak to you 00:09:43.000 --> 00:09:44.919 about that. Five things about the life in the 00:09:44.919 --> 00:09:47.440 river. The river of God is incredible. It's the house of 00:16:02.990 --> 00:16:06.110 God. It's the people of God. You are the holy 00:16:06.110 --> 00:16:09.250 place. This gathering is the holy place. We are 00:16:09.250 --> 00:16:12.639 the holy place where he dwells. And the incredible 00:16:12.639 --> 00:16:17.299 thing is, is that we have the ability to go to 00:16:17.299 --> 00:16:20.620 places that are dry and places that are barren 00:16:20.620 --> 00:16:24.299 and places that are having a drought in the spirit. 00:16:24.419 --> 00:16:28.100 And God has empowered you to be able to give 00:16:28.100 --> 00:16:32.000 birth to a flow of the river that is not there 00:16:32.000 --> 00:16:36.240 right now. But when you arrive, you can see the 00:16:36.240 --> 00:16:40.139 river flow out from you and dig a well and the 00:16:40.139 --> 00:16:45.149 river flows. You may not realize this, but the 00:16:45.149 --> 00:16:49.149 word heart in John 7, out of your heart will 00:16:49.149 --> 00:16:53.690 flow. It means the innermost part of your being. 00:16:54.169 --> 00:16:57.629 It means the inward parts, the belly. And here's 00:16:57.629 --> 00:17:00.429 another thing that the Greek word is, it means 00:17:00.429 --> 00:17:06.829 womb. Out of your heart, out of your womb will 00:17:06.829 --> 00:17:10.819 flow. In other words, what Jesus is saying is 00:17:10.819 --> 00:17:14.319 you, by the Holy Spirit, have the power to give 00:17:14.319 --> 00:17:17.079 birth to a river where there was not one before. 00:17:18.190 --> 00:17:20.950 You have the power to birth something in prayer 00:17:20.950 --> 00:17:23.369 and intercession.
