And now that church is running 00:06:10.920 --> 00:06:14.120 around 1 ,700 people, plus outreach works, branch 00:06:14.120 --> 00:06:17.180 works that we've started, and even have a church 00:06:17.180 --> 00:06:20.829 in L .A. We had contact with a family in Panama. 00:06:20.949 --> 00:06:23.970 So the work has really expanded. But all six 00:06:23.970 --> 00:06:26.410 of our kids, five boys and one girl, they are 00:06:26.410 --> 00:06:29.509 all married. First 00:07:16.949 --> 00:07:19.709 of all, I grew up in a missions church, in a 00:07:19.709 --> 00:07:21.610 missions family, but I never wanted to be a missionary. 00:07:21.730 --> 00:07:24.860 So God had to do a major work in my heart. He 00:07:24.860 --> 00:07:26.459 always wanted to be a missionary. But anyway, 00:07:26.600 --> 00:07:29.560 God called us. It's a whole long story. But I 00:07:29.560 --> 00:07:31.420 remember I was talking to my best friend and 00:07:31.420 --> 00:07:33.259 she goes, so what are you guys doing? I said, 00:07:33.319 --> 00:07:35.540 we're going to Mexico. And she goes, well, why 00:07:35.540 --> 00:07:37.040 are you doing that? I said, well, God has called 00:07:37.040 --> 00:07:39.100 us to Mexico. And she said, if God called me 00:07:39.100 --> 00:07:42.819 to Mexico, I would say no. And I just remember, 00:07:42.939 --> 00:07:44.839 I think my mouth kind of fell open. It was just 00:07:44.839 --> 00:07:47.350 like. You know, I never wanted to be a missionary, 00:07:47.529 --> 00:07:49.550 but I was always taught you never say no to God. 00:07:49.730 --> 00:07:52.970 And so God changed my heart. And I think one 00:07:52.970 --> 00:07:55.410 of the most compelling verses for me personally 00:07:55.410 --> 00:07:58.870 was the verse where Jesus said, freely you have 00:07:58.870 --> 00:08:02.350 received, freely give. And I just think, you 00:08:02.350 --> 00:08:04.779 know, that verse. always would come back to me, 00:08:04.819 --> 00:08:06.620 even when I was dragging my feet a little bit, 00:08:06.660 --> 00:08:09.220 how freely he gave to me. You know, salvation, 00:08:09.459 --> 00:08:12.819 forgiveness, mercy, hope, restoration, family, 00:08:12.920 --> 00:08:15.879 just blessing after blessing. And Jesus said, 00:08:15.959 --> 00:08:19.120 you've gotten a lot of stuff for free. Now it's 00:08:19.120 --> 00:08:22.060 time for you to give out. Well, I 00:12:53.279 --> 00:12:56.700 believe we're all on a mission. All of us. You know, I mean, you guys 00:14:03.000 --> 00:14:06.590 have a huge church. For the size of an area you're 00:14:06.590 --> 00:14:10.850 in. So this is a mega church. But there's a lot 00:14:10.850 --> 00:14:12.690 of people working really hard to have a mega 00:14:12.690 --> 00:14:16.009 church. And they spend their whole life trying 00:14:16.009 --> 00:14:18.710 and never ever get there. And then die discouraged. 00:14:19.669 --> 00:14:22.309 I think it's very comforting to know that the 00:14:22.309 --> 00:14:24.889 Bible actually says.
