He scraps 00:05:50.310 --> 00:05:53.959 democracy. pushes this radical, racist, hyper 00:05:53.959 --> 00:05:56.939 -nationalist agenda and just starts openly rearming, 00:05:56.980 --> 00:05:58.800 tearing up the treaty. And these powers, they 00:05:58.800 --> 00:06:00.839 didn't stay isolated. They formed alliances pretty 00:06:00.839 --> 00:06:02.939 quickly. They did. The Rom -Berlin Axis was announced 00:06:02.939 --> 00:06:05.600 in October 36. Maybe even more significant was 00:06:05.600 --> 00:06:07.899 the anti -common -turn pact between Germany and 00:06:07.899 --> 00:06:10.660 Japan in November 36.
