Meaning, you know, God has done the 00:03:13.500 --> 00:03:17.919 big one with the Passover and Pharaoh's firstborn 00:03:17.919 --> 00:03:20.500 and all the other firstborn in Egypt have died. 00:03:20.699 --> 00:03:23.840 And in a panic, Pharaoh says, okay, get out, 00:03:23.919 --> 00:03:27.020 go. Finally, get out, go. Keep in mind, Pharaoh's 00:03:27.020 --> 00:03:30.000 had a hardened heart up into this point. God 00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:34.139 has, through Moses, spoken to Pharaoh, stop messing 00:03:34.139 --> 00:03:38.629 with my people. Right before we get into 00:04:55.050 --> 00:04:58.149 Exodus 14 God reveals kind of like his purpose 00:04:58.149 --> 00:05:00.149 for not taking the people straight into the promised 00:05:00.149 --> 00:05:04.230 land keep in mind y 'all that Hundreds hundreds 00:05:04.230 --> 00:05:07.209 of years before this happens God has already 00:05:07.209 --> 00:05:09.610 spoken about the promised land to Abraham, right? 00:05:09.889 --> 00:05:12.649 God is talking to Abraham and he's like, hey, 00:05:12.689 --> 00:05:14.730 can you count these stars in the sky? Yeah, well 00:05:14.730 --> 00:05:16.829 like your descendants are gonna be greater than 00:05:16.829 --> 00:05:19.790 that and Abraham's like, okay, I believe you 00:05:19.790 --> 00:05:23.050 that and God's like and I'm gonna give you a 00:05:23.050 --> 00:05:24.709 promised land." And Abraham's like, okay, but 00:05:24.709 --> 00:05:27.350 how? Like, how's this gonna happen? And that's 00:05:27.350 --> 00:05:29.529 when God actually tells Abraham about the Exodus 00:05:29.529 --> 00:05:31.569 that's gonna happen, where he's like, your descendants 00:05:31.569 --> 00:05:33.490 are gonna be in the land that isn't theirs for 00:05:33.490 --> 00:05:36.730 400 years. It says, when Pharaoh 00:06:44.750 --> 00:06:47.860 let the people go, God did not lead them along 00:06:47.860 --> 00:06:49.839 the road to the land of the Philistines, even 00:06:49.839 --> 00:06:52.660 though it was nearby. For God said, the people 00:06:52.660 --> 00:06:54.800 will change their minds and return to Egypt if 00:06:54.800 --> 00:06:58.500 they face war. So he led the people around toward 00:06:58.500 --> 00:07:01.420 the Red Sea, along the road of the wilderness. 00:07:02.240 --> 00:07:04.540 And the Israelites left the land of Egypt in 00:07:04.540 --> 00:07:07.399 battle formation. So we already see God's purpose 00:07:07.399 --> 00:07:09.319 for them being led into the wilderness, right? 00:07:09.519 --> 00:07:12.639 God is saying like, I brought my people out of 00:07:12.639 --> 00:07:15.139 Egypt, but I have not yet gotten the Egypt out 00:07:15.139 --> 00:07:19.139 of them. meaning God has physically delivered 00:07:19.139 --> 00:07:22.660 them from bondage, but he has not yet broken 00:07:22.660 --> 00:07:26.439 the bondage out of them internally, right? So 00:07:26.439 --> 00:07:29.399 they're not yet going into the promised land. 00:07:30.379 --> 00:07:32.860 God takes them the long way. I would not have stewarded over them 00:09:04.490 --> 00:09:07.990 well. Like this podcast for instance. The confidence 00:09:07.990 --> 00:09:09.990 and authority I speak with now I did not have 00:09:09.990 --> 00:09:15.679 even like nine months ago. I would not have been 00:09:15.679 --> 00:09:21.539 as bold as I am now back then without some of 00:09:21.539 --> 00:09:23.440 the seasons and some of the things I had to face 00:09:23.440 --> 00:09:29.299 first, okay? But the interesting 00:10:39.440 --> 00:10:42.419 thing is God did something else with this wilderness 00:10:42.419 --> 00:10:49.960 season While they were in this wilderness He 00:10:49.960 --> 00:10:53.580 took out Pharaoh He took out their enemy that 00:10:53.580 --> 00:10:56.799 wasn't gonna stop pursuing them So this wasn't 00:10:56.799 --> 00:11:00.940 only a heart surgery for them, but this was like 00:11:00.940 --> 00:11:05.320 an ultimate deliverance situation and that's 00:11:05.320 --> 00:11:07.100 more what we're gonna look at today because I 00:11:07.100 --> 00:11:09.019 have experienced it personally and I know that 00:11:09.019 --> 00:11:10.659 there are people listening to this today too 00:11:10.659 --> 00:11:12.899 that have experienced this when God delivers 00:11:12.899 --> 00:11:15.919 you from something right when he removes you 00:11:15.919 --> 00:11:17.980 from that situation when he removes you from 00:11:17.980 --> 00:11:20.940 that relationship when he removes you from like 00:11:20.940 --> 00:11:23.600 that habit or that cycle and you're like oh my 00:11:23.600 --> 00:11:26.080 gosh I'm free I'm unbound and you're trying to 00:11:26.080 --> 00:11:29.000 move forward and you're trying to like just one 00:11:29.000 --> 00:11:31.059 step in front of the other go into the next thing 00:11:31.059 --> 00:11:33.590 God is calling you to go into But all of a sudden 00:11:33.590 --> 00:11:36.990 that thing starts chasing you down. Like like when I'm 00:12:02.450 --> 00:12:04.769 reading that scripture this past week like that 00:12:04.769 --> 00:12:10.710 has been more where my mind is at And we see 00:12:10.710 --> 00:12:14.450 here in the beginning of chapter 14 right the 00:12:14.450 --> 00:12:17.909 Lord is speaking to Moses and He's giving Moses 00:12:17.909 --> 00:12:20.009 a very specific instructions and he's telling 00:12:20.009 --> 00:12:24.549 the Israelites to camp. He's like an I y 'all 00:12:24.799 --> 00:12:26.740 I am not going to be able to pronounce these 00:12:26.740 --> 00:12:28.600 words. I'm going to do my best. He says, tell 00:12:28.600 --> 00:12:31.299 the Israelites to turn back and camp in front 00:12:31.299 --> 00:12:36.419 of Pai Harav between Migdal and the sea. You 00:12:36.419 --> 00:12:39.799 must camp in front of Baal -Zephron facing it 00:12:39.799 --> 00:12:44.039 by the sea. Pharaoh will say of the Israelites, 00:12:44.179 --> 00:12:46.200 they are wandering around the land in confusion. 00:12:46.580 --> 00:12:49.470 The wildernesses box them in. I will harden Pharaoh's 00:12:49.470 --> 00:12:52.309 heart so he will pursue them. God is like revealing his game plan 00:12:59.509 --> 00:13:01.690 to Moses. He's like, I want y 'all to camp out 00:13:01.690 --> 00:13:07.710 here. Right here. And Pharaoh, the dude who doesn't 00:13:07.710 --> 00:13:09.789 like you guys, who wants to see you guys back 00:13:09.789 --> 00:13:12.309 in bondage, the one who keeps attacking you, 00:13:12.570 --> 00:13:14.610 just keep in mind y 'all, Pharaoh is the one 00:13:14.610 --> 00:13:17.269 that had all these warning shots from God.
