Now, this ship 00:12:27.980 --> 00:12:33.960 is a key part of our expedition with three boats, 00:12:34.220 --> 00:12:37.779 skiffs, on board to handle landing as well as 00:12:37.779 --> 00:12:43.500 a chef and terrific cabins, terrific able seabed 00:12:43.500 --> 00:12:46.139 onboard to make sure that our voyage was safe 00:12:46.139 --> 00:12:50.470 and we arrived ahead of schedule. and fewer than 00:12:50.470 --> 00:12:54.309 six days to Baker. So two nights 00:13:33.950 --> 00:13:36.830 ago, we had just a torrential, torrential storm, 00:13:37.269 --> 00:13:40.269 which was very unexpected and very out of season, 00:13:40.350 --> 00:13:43.529 and it destroyed one of the antennas. at the 00:13:43.529 --> 00:13:46.309 water line and also flooded our digital tent. 00:13:46.750 --> 00:13:50.409 At the time, we had some issues regarding our 00:13:50.409 --> 00:13:53.809 network between tents and some other technical 00:13:53.809 --> 00:13:55.809 issues, but we're slowly working out those bugs. 00:13:56.909 --> 00:13:59.889 So from the beginning, we were very grateful 00:13:59.889 --> 00:14:01.850 for our donors. So the landing was rough there 00:16:06.639 --> 00:16:11.220 was some surf to encounter When the team made 00:16:11.220 --> 00:16:13.840 their attempts to land at the island, but we 00:16:13.840 --> 00:16:18.080 have an extremely experienced Vessel crew and 00:16:18.080 --> 00:16:21.320 an extremely talented and experienced and prepared 00:16:21.320 --> 00:16:24.820 The expedition team as we were able to successfully 00:16:24.820 --> 00:16:29.720 land on the island with a little bit of difficulty 00:16:29.720 --> 00:16:32.000 and a couple of wet pelican cases, but everybody 00:16:32.000 --> 00:16:35.360 was unscathed. But temperatures have just been 00:16:35.360 --> 00:16:38.960 extreme and work for more than half an hour outside 00:16:38.960 --> 00:16:40.960 in the heat is nearly impossible. And it's very 00:16:40.960 --> 00:16:44.980 difficult to erect tents and generators and antennas 00:16:44.980 --> 00:16:47.500 especially. So that has certainly set us back 00:16:47.500 --> 00:16:50.799 in time, but we were able to be QRV almost 24 00:16:50.799 --> 00:16:53.919 hours before expected.
