00:00:00:00 - 00:00:04:05 So it's nice because Trade The Pool, you guys have a max daily pause. 00:00:04:05 - 00:00:09:23 So you know, once you reach that daily pause for the day, 00:00:09:23 - 00:00:13:01 then it kind of limits you in a sense, or kind of stops 00:00:13:01 - 00:00:25:12 you and says, hey, that's it for the day. You know, maybe we need a recheck, gather your thoughts again, wait till tomorrow. There'll be more opportunities. And sometimes, you know, I could spiral. 00:00:25:12 - 00:00:36:09 But with that daily pause, it's very helpful. I think, you know, sometimes you don't have that psychology to be like, okay, you're done for the day. So yeah, it's good. 00:00:36:23 - 00:00:50:14 Welcome, everybody, to another funded trader of Trade The Pool. Today, Sabrina is with me, a special guest. Been with us a few times before. Hey, Sabrina, thanks for taking my call. Thank you for having me. Yeah. For sure. 00:00:50:14 - 00:00:53:13 Happy to have you here. You know, like always. 00:00:53:13 - 00:00:55:13 Sabrina, for those of you who didn't see, 00:00:55:13 - 00:00:57:13 previous interview, 00:00:57:13 - 00:00:59:28 is killing it on the swing account. 00:01:00:05 - 00:01:00:28 So, 00:01:00:28 - 00:01:04:28 we'll talk a little bit about the trading style and everything, 00:01:04:28 - 00:01:07:26 around the evaluation in the funded phase. 00:01:07:26 - 00:01:09:03 How long have you been with us? 00:01:09:03 - 00:01:10:05 Sabrina. 00:01:10:05 - 00:01:19:17 I think I started my journey with you guys since September. Yeah, September last year. Yeah. Okay, so, roughly six, seven months. 00:01:19:17 - 00:01:21:26 That's a good amount of time. 00:01:21:28 - 00:01:37:16 You know, to try to test the waters, test evaluations, get funded, and everything. Tell me before we dive into the trading part, how do you feel about the full process of, you know, being with us? Everything that you experienced. 00:01:37:16 - 00:01:50:00 Yeah. So it's definitely been easier on my trading psychology, for sure. Compared to when I used to be on a brokerage account, I would constantly—it was hard to be under the PDT rule. 00:01:50:00 - 00:01:54:10 So I would constantly be losing my three times 00:01:54:10 - 00:01:58:13 in a week trade, and mentally it was kind of draining. I got to like 00:01:58:13 - 00:02:08:05 there were wins, but there were some heavy losses, and so making that switch to Trade The Pool has been easier for sure on the psychology. 00:02:08:05 - 00:02:09:14 I’m still trading 00:02:09:14 - 00:02:10:16 with the broker account. 00:02:10:16 - 00:02:12:13 No. Not anymore. No. 00:02:12:13 - 00:02:15:00 I completely made that switch already. 00:02:15:02 - 00:02:16:20 Well, that's incredible, 00:02:16:20 - 00:02:17:26 feedback, I guess. 00:02:17:26 - 00:02:19:25 You know, I hear it all the time from 00:02:19:25 - 00:02:24:12 the traders that once you switch from your own personal 00:02:24:12 - 00:02:32:01 capital to trading someone else's capital, it's a whole different story when it comes to your psychology and trading. So 00:02:32:01 - 00:02:33:05 that's for sure. 00:02:33:05 - 00:02:40:13 Amazing. So, you know, for the guys that didn't listen to the previous interview, tell them a little bit about your journey. 00:02:40:15 - 00:02:42:16 Where did you start first? 00:02:42:16 - 00:03:08:06 At first, I started off with TradeZero, so I would do a lot of my charting, actually, on Webull, but then I started off in 2021, I think, and then I paper traded on Webull for about a year until I realized, you know what? This isn’t really going to do anything for me, or it's not going to feel the same because, again, it's still just fake money. 00:03:08:08 - 00:03:16:02 Yeah, it's not going to hit the same until I actually invest with my capital. And so I started off with about three K 00:03:16:02 - 00:03:31:26 with one year after that, 2022. So I invested about three K, and then it wasn't going anywhere, and I think I was losing. Had to invest another three K, in total had a 6K investment. 00:03:31:26 - 00:03:39:26 And by the time 2023 came around, the end of 2023, beginning of 2024, I started to make 00:03:39:26 - 00:03:48:18 a lot of money. Actually, I think I got to about 28 K, so enough to go above PDT, but it was, I 00:03:48:18 - 00:03:53:22 was still losing, so it would be hard to reward myself. I think that was the biggest problem, right? 00:03:53:29 - 00:04:16:19 So you get to be above PDT. You can't really do anything with rewarding yourself because the moment you go under the 25 K, then there you go again. You have to start over with only a limited amount of trades. So I never got to reward myself. Got that 6 K investment back, and then after that, I was able to switch over. 00:04:16:19 - 00:04:21:10 Recommended by my mentor to Trade The Pool. I mean, 00:04:21:10 - 00:04:24:07 you know, it's so hard to trade your own capital, right? 00:04:24:07 - 00:04:33:26 Besides the PDT, the fact that you're risking what you worked hard to save, and now you're losing, especially when you're losing. It's, 00:04:33:26 - 00:04:36:22 it's so hard to deal with later on. 00:04:36:22 - 00:04:37:25 Oh, yeah. 00:04:37:27 - 00:04:42:01 I think I had some pretty big losses, too, that I'll never forget that have 00:04:42:01 - 00:04:44:06 affected me until this day. 00:04:44:06 - 00:04:47:09 Real vision in January 2024. 00:04:47:09 - 00:04:55:12 That was my biggest loss. Like 12 K in one go. Yeah, that's painful. No doubt. It's painful. 00:04:55:12 - 00:04:59:17 So it's nice because Trade The Pool, you guys have a max daily pause. 00:04:59:17 - 00:05:05:05 So you know, once you reach that daily pause for the day, 00:05:05:05 - 00:05:08:13 then it kind of limits you in a sense, or kind of stops 00:05:08:13 - 00:05:20:24 you and says, hey, that's it for the day. You know, maybe we need a recheck, gather your thoughts again, wait till tomorrow. There'll be more opportunities. And sometimes, you know, I could spiral. 00:05:20:24 - 00:05:31:21 But with that daily pause, it's very helpful. I think, you know, sometimes you don't have that psychology to be like, okay, you're done for the day. So yeah, it's good. 00:05:31:21 - 00:05:34:20 This is exactly what I experienced when I lost the, 00:05:34:20 - 00:05:39:27 the 100 K, 91 K. Oh, and that was exactly the same thing. 00:05:39:27 - 00:05:49:28 You know, you don't have anyone that will be responsible for your trading besides you, and getting into that loop, and that's it. 00:05:49:28 - 00:05:51:29 Amazing. Alrighty. So let's talk, 00:05:51:29 - 00:05:54:28 you know, a little bit about your strategy, the type of 00:05:54:28 - 00:06:06:26 trading you do. What is it exactly? Yeah. So I'm primarily a short seller, so I'm looking for anything in pre-market that's moving 50% or higher. 00:06:06:26 - 00:06:07:25 Maybe, 00:06:07:25 - 00:06:14:23 it’ll already have my attention. And I'll narrow it down by that, along with 00:06:14:23 - 00:06:26:08 the dilution for that ticker. And I'll look at the key levels on the daily chart. And yeah, there it is. There isn't much I'm looking at. I don't really have a lot of indicators. 00:06:26:08 - 00:06:30:03 Any fundamental link to it, or is it only technical? 00:06:30:03 - 00:06:45:06 Technical and, you know, the dilution aspect, but I'm not really looking at news or anything like that. Yeah. It doesn't, or any of the order flow, doesn't really affect how I trade, I think, you know, so 00:06:45:06 - 00:06:55:29 yeah. Just more technical. But for the most part, and I guess intuition, you could say. Yeah. And you said 50% up. 00:06:55:29 - 00:06:57:28 So it's got to be small caps. 00:06:57:28 - 00:07:00:21 Penny stocks, right? Penny stocks. Correct. Yes. 00:07:00:21 - 00:07:02:13 You're not going to see Tesla doing 00:07:02:13 - 00:07:03:21 50%. 00:07:03:21 - 00:07:04:08 And the 00:07:04:08 - 00:07:06:02 higher percentage, the better because 00:07:06:02 - 00:07:13:13 then you get a better fade, which is what I would really love to see. But, you know, it's not always the case, but the best 00:07:13:13 - 00:07:14:25 stocks that I like 00:07:14:25 - 00:07:17:04 to see are for sure the ones that fade 00:07:17:04 - 00:07:19:01 all the way till the end of the market. 00:07:19:01 - 00:07:22:15 It's not even overnight. And then I like to swing them. 00:07:22:15 - 00:07:23:01 Yeah. So 00:07:23:01 - 00:07:24:21 and this is something interesting. We 00:07:24:21 - 00:07:38:28 talked about it in the previous interview when you said, you know, compared to a lot of our funded traders that are actually shorting penny stocks on an intraday level, you're actually looking to swing them for a day or two, right? 00:07:38:28 - 00:07:53:14 So, are you keeping everything to the full position for a few days, or are you taking partials along the way? It ultimately depends for sure on my average where I entered in. 00:07:53:14 - 00:08:00:08 If my entry is way, way like maybe I got it at the top, which is very rare, 00:08:00:08 - 00:08:06:13 I guess I could maybe hold the whole thing overnight, and then, you know, I just have 00:08:06:13 - 00:08:10:06 parameters of being able to cover it, making sure I have my stop 00:08:10:06 - 00:08:23:16 limit order, and if not, if I do have a lower range or a lower entry, I should say, I might take partials and then just see what I could do with that swing overnight. 00:08:23:18 - 00:08:36:03 And you mentioned you’re working with the VWAP. What exactly do you do with it? How do you handle it? So, like today, for example, I think although I didn't do so well today, 00:08:36:03 - 00:08:46:27 it kind of had a little bounce off of VWAP, and then when I do see any type of bounces off VWAP, maybe I'll get in, I'll enter in on a 00:08:46:27 - 00:08:47:18 lower high. 00:08:47:18 - 00:09:12:13 And so I'll kind of use it as a scaling method for myself. But if it's completely maybe breaking VWAP, then okay, maybe it might be a signal to get out of the trade. But it helps me kind of understand, okay, is it a reversal, or is it maybe just a place where I can go ahead and scale into my position? 00:09:12:13 - 00:09:13:21 Right. And now 00:09:13:21 - 00:09:22:28 you said, you know, you're finding the top or trying to find the top in order to short them. How do you know that this is the top trade? This is one of the most 00:09:22:28 - 00:09:24:25 you never know. Yeah, 00:09:24:25 - 00:09:30:23 you ultimately never really know. But on the daily chart, I like to look for those 00:09:30:23 - 00:09:38:11 support and resistance levels, like those key levels, I guess you could say, you know, and I try my best to enter around those areas. 00:09:38:11 - 00:09:55:17 Doesn't always happen, and I’m not always as disciplined as I want to be. Not as patient as I always want to be, but I do my best to try to enter in those key levels that I see on a daily chart and with proper risk. So, of course, again, since we don't know for sure, you just gotta have proper risk. 00:09:55:17 - 00:10:10:14 So maybe I'll just risk only like $200 in that area until I realize, okay, this is it. This was the top. This was the proper level. Then I'll go ahead and scale in. And if it’s not, then I had proper risk management. 00:10:10:14 - 00:10:16:02 Yeah. So it's always starting small, building the position, seeing that it goes in your favor. 00:10:16:04 - 00:10:17:18 And then adding, basically. 00:10:17:18 - 00:10:20:10 Nice. Alright. Alrighty, I'm going to share 00:10:20:10 - 00:10:25:00 your dashboard and show you guys at home how it looks like for those of you not familiar with it. 00:10:25:00 - 00:10:34:09 All of our traders get their dashboards, and they can actually check the stats and see the progress. So we'll start with the goodies. 00:10:34:11 - 00:10:40:07 Here it is. This is your achievement so far, so 15,000 00:10:40:07 - 00:10:46:00 in total, two payouts for funded accounts. And that's also something that shows 00:10:46:00 - 00:10:53:00 consistency, right? And the fact that even, and I spoke about it 00:10:53:00 - 00:10:54:20 in the previous interviews, 00:10:54:20 - 00:11:01:12 even when you reach the funded phase and get payouts from time to time, you will terminate the account. 00:11:01:13 - 00:11:06:20 You go again. Oh, yeah, we’re familiar with the process. So it's easier to pass it and then reach the 00:11:06:20 - 00:11:15:14 target, right? Yeah. In fact, I'm actually back on an eval because I have already terminated my funded account. You know, it's not always easy. 00:11:15:14 - 00:11:19:27 You want to get to that consistency level of having a payout, not just getting to a 00:11:19:27 - 00:11:20:15 funded account. 00:11:20:15 - 00:11:23:09 Right. So, of course, that's the initial goal. 00:11:23:09 - 00:11:32:23 What your skills are reflected by is if you get that consistent payout. So, I haven't been able, in my opinion, to reach consistency. I feel 00:11:32:23 - 00:11:36:13 you know, I'm doing decent enough to be able to 00:11:36:13 - 00:11:56:08 be profitable. But sometimes, you know, there are so many times actually I saw the withdraw button, and I never took that withdrawal because I said, okay, let me get a better buffer, let me make maybe just 1000 more or 2000 more, and with that pressure that I put on myself, I just would go completely backwards. 00:11:56:10 - 00:12:16:26 So I've actually seen the withdrawal button multiple times between November and March, I think maybe at least three times of around that 11,700 target. And I said, okay, let me just make 1 or 2 more, okay? And I never saw daylight ever again. Oh, that’s incredible. It shows, 00:12:16:26 - 00:12:17:08 you know, 00:12:17:08 - 00:12:25:01 trading in general. The psychology behind it, it's incredible and definitely. 00:12:25:03 - 00:12:31:07 And yeah, there is, on one end, you want to create a buffer to build your buffer so you will have enough 00:12:31:14 - 00:12:43:19 cushion or space to play with it, to work on it. And on the other end, you got to know when to exit the trade, right? When to take your profits, right? So that's the. 00:12:43:19 - 00:12:47:24 Yeah, kind of the same also on the entire account. 00:12:47:24 - 00:12:50:02 So this is one of the accounts you had, 00:12:50:02 - 00:12:59:15 Pacífico the swing 24. Okay. We are working on new programs also for the swing. We just launched a new program. So for the day trade. Yeah, I'm sure you're going to love it. 00:12:59:15 - 00:13:00:12 It's going to be 00:13:00:12 - 00:13:01:13 very interesting. 00:13:01:19 - 00:13:04:14 One. So definitely check it out. 00:13:04:14 - 00:13:05:03 Yeah. The 00:13:05:03 - 00:13:08:23 rough start, I guess, at the beginning. And then 00:13:08:23 - 00:13:11:29 you found your rhythm and a nice bounce 00:13:11:29 - 00:13:13:26 at the end, right? 00:13:13:26 - 00:13:21:02 Interesting to see. You are a short seller by heart, you mentioned. But there are, from time to time, some buy 00:13:21:02 - 00:13:22:14 orders coming in, right? 00:13:22:14 - 00:13:24:04 Yes. Sometimes, 00:13:24:04 - 00:13:48:05 I'm not seasoned or good at these buy orders by any means, but sometimes when it just doesn't feel like a short, maybe I'll try to tempt with lower risk these buys. And sometimes I get it. Sometimes it doesn't work. Something I definitely want to work on and see what I could do with, you know, because it's not always a short market, right? 00:13:48:07 - 00:13:48:16 Yeah. 00:13:48:16 - 00:13:53:23 And I want to be able to have that skill set to be able to play both sides. 00:13:53:23 - 00:13:54:22 Exactly. And 00:13:54:22 - 00:14:00:27 you know, looking at your stats a little bit, you have about 5.7 on the risk-reward. That's amazing. 00:14:00:27 - 00:14:03:27 The 23% is a bit low, I guess. 00:14:03:27 - 00:14:05:10 Is it something that 00:14:05:10 - 00:14:10:19 you know, you're trying to work on, the risk-reward or the success rate, how do you do that? 00:14:10:19 - 00:14:11:02 If you, 00:14:11:02 - 00:14:21:08 to be honest, do not really think about it. I think it's something, you know, I definitely could be better at. But I think 00:14:21:08 - 00:14:33:17 the risk-to-reward means a lot more to me. You know, if I'm only going to be making $50, you know, consecutively every day compared to maybe making or having a better range 00:14:33:17 - 00:14:34:16 in my profit, 00:14:34:16 - 00:14:42:16 then I think I’d rather take that risk-reward, high risk-reward ratio compared to the 00:14:42:19 - 00:14:43:13 success rate. 00:14:43:20 - 00:14:47:26 The success rate. Yeah. So it's not something I'm really mindful about. I mean, 00:14:47:26 - 00:15:08:21 it would be nice to be better at it, right? But I am more focused on my trades. I really try not to even focus on my P&L. I just want to focus on the chart itself. Yeah. So whether that gives me maybe just $500 for the day or maybe the 5K in a day, I'm not trying to focus on the P&L. 00:15:08:21 - 00:15:20:22 I want to focus more on the chart, whether I executed the chart properly or not. Yeah. And this is a great tip, especially for the guys that, even for the guys that start, basically, 00:15:20:22 - 00:15:28:21 you know, try to drop literally nothing in there, right? Yeah. Because once you take, and this is the beauty of 00:15:28:21 - 00:15:40:29 trading with Trade The Pool or someone else's money, once you're taking out from the equation the P&L, the trading becomes much more, I wouldn't say easier, but much more focused. 00:15:40:29 - 00:15:48:22 Toward the real goal, which is, yeah, trading properly. Your strategy is definitely amazing. 00:15:48:22 - 00:15:54:24 Alrighty, Sabrina. So, thanks for coming to this interview. Like always, it's great. 00:15:54:24 - 00:15:56:27 Thank you. Thank you for having me. 00:15:56:27 - 00:15:58:14 I see that you're trading the 00:15:58:14 - 00:15:59:22 evaluation, the extra 00:15:59:22 - 00:16:03:13 evaluation. So I'm sure you're going to pass it soon. 00:16:03:13 - 00:16:08:01 We will probably do another interview later on. Yeah. And 00:16:08:01 - 00:16:13:18 yeah, for those of you guys who want to check us out, go to TradeThePool.com. Maybe you will be the next 00:16:13:18 - 00:16:21:10 guy in line after you get to Overfunded. Alright. Thanks so much, Sabrina. Thank you, Michael. Bye, guys.
