And I'm going to read to you several 00:02:58.189 --> 00:03:00.409 scriptures here right off the bat from Luke chapter 00:03:00.409 --> 00:03:03.689 19 and we're going to read verses 11 through 00:03:03.689 --> 00:03:07.490 27 because here Jesus is telling a parable to 00:03:07.490 --> 00:03:10.349 a people that expected the kingdom to appear 00:03:10.349 --> 00:03:14.129 immediately. And what is he doing? He's correcting 00:03:14.129 --> 00:03:16.810 their expectations. So let's walk through this. 00:03:17.560 --> 00:03:20.199 Starting at verse 11 says at this time Jesus 00:03:20.199 --> 00:03:23.680 was getting close to entering Jerusalem.
