One 00:00:56.200 --> 00:01:00.000 of my grandsons is named Ezekiel and he is great 00:01:00.000 --> 00:01:02.240 young man is going to be a mighty man of God 00:01:02.240 --> 00:01:05.379 just like my other two Colton and Caden and my 00:01:05.379 --> 00:01:07.760 little Cora they're all going to be mighty men 00:01:07.760 --> 00:01:14.159 and women of God and in 37 Ezekiel it begins 00:01:14.159 --> 00:01:17.340 with the Lord took hold of me and I was carried 00:01:17.340 --> 00:01:19.680 away in the spirit of the Lord to a valley filled 00:01:19.680 --> 00:01:24.019 with dry bones Ezekiel here is talking about 00:01:24.019 --> 00:01:26.239 in the spirit. He was carried away in the spirit. 00:01:26.260 --> 00:01:28.599 Remember we are a spirit. And the Bible says we've all fallen short 00:05:04.500 --> 00:05:07.480 of the glory of God and have sinned. So we're 00:05:07.480 --> 00:05:10.839 all doomed to death, hell and the grave if we 00:05:10.839 --> 00:05:14.589 don't receive this wonderful free gift that Ezekiel 00:05:14.589 --> 00:05:18.209 was prophesying about hundreds of years before 00:05:18.209 --> 00:05:23.430 it happened. And so, you know, we know from John 00:05:23.430 --> 00:05:26.529 10 10, Jesus came so we could have life and life 00:05:26.529 --> 00:05:30.089 abundantly. So he was speaking prophetically 00:05:30.089 --> 00:05:32.750 took him prophetically. I mean, God is a spirit. 00:05:33.430 --> 00:05:35.589 And so wherever the life of God is, that's where 00:05:35.589 --> 00:05:38.269 supernatural things happen because that's who 00:05:38.269 --> 00:05:41.529 he is. He is life. I mean, he will mess up a 00:05:41.529 --> 00:05:43.490 funeral, right? We've seen him do that a few 00:05:43.490 --> 00:05:46.810 times in the word. And so we're going to see 00:05:46.810 --> 00:05:50.589 how that happens. Even in the Old Testament, 00:05:50.610 --> 00:05:54.310 if we go back in first Kings and we're going 00:05:54.310 --> 00:05:59.329 first King 17. And we're going to go from 17 00:05:59.329 --> 00:06:06.899 to verse 17. And it says sometime later, a woman's 00:06:06.899 --> 00:06:09.339 son became sick and he grew worse and worse and 00:06:09.339 --> 00:06:12.160 finally died. And she said to Elijah, Oh man 00:06:12.160 --> 00:06:14.120 of God, what have you done to me? Have you come 00:06:14.120 --> 00:06:16.899 here to point out my sins and kill my son? She 00:06:16.899 --> 00:06:20.000 was blaming God through the prophet Elijah on 00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:22.860 the death of her son. She was thinking, you know, 00:06:22.860 --> 00:06:26.079 God, she was being punished for something. And 00:06:26.079 --> 00:06:28.379 Elijah took and said, give me your son. And he 00:06:28.379 --> 00:06:30.759 took the child's body from her arms, carried 00:06:30.759 --> 00:06:33.540 him up the stairs to the room where he was staying. 00:06:33.839 --> 00:06:37.699 laid the body on the bed and Elijah cried out 00:06:37.699 --> 00:06:41.060 to the Lord. Oh Lord, my God, why have you bought? 00:06:41.439 --> 00:06:43.899 Why has this tragedy been brought on this widow 00:06:43.899 --> 00:06:46.480 who has opened her home to me and causing her 00:06:46.480 --> 00:06:50.519 son to die? He stretched out himself over the 00:06:50.519 --> 00:06:53.959 child's body three times cried out to the Lord. 00:06:53.959 --> 00:06:58.259 Please let this child's life breathe into him. 00:06:58.410 --> 00:07:01.029 And the Lord heard Elijah's prayer and the life 00:07:01.029 --> 00:07:04.790 of the child returned and he revived. You know where the life of 00:07:21.350 --> 00:07:24.350 God comes where the word of God comes the life 00:07:24.350 --> 00:07:28.250 life of God comes. where the life of God is the 00:07:28.250 --> 00:07:31.329 word of God will come and God will confirm that 00:07:31.329 --> 00:07:33.829 word with signs following and that's what just 00:07:33.829 --> 00:07:37.230 happened here you know she turned to the man 00:07:37.230 --> 00:07:42.430 of God and and he spoke the life of God and God 00:07:42.430 --> 00:07:45.389 heard his prayer and answered him and this was 00:07:45.389 --> 00:07:48.509 back when the Holy Spirit could not reside in 00:07:48.509 --> 00:07:53.459 man but had to reside on man and would work through 00:07:53.459 --> 00:07:57.459 man but was not in man because inside the men 00:07:57.459 --> 00:08:00.060 were still dead in their spirit but the power 00:08:00.060 --> 00:08:03.079 of God but when we believe on God so as Elijah 00:08:03.079 --> 00:08:06.759 and others believed on the Lord you know he was 00:08:06.759 --> 00:08:10.720 born again but he was not the Holy Spirit could 00:08:10.720 --> 00:08:13.620 not come and live in there until Jesus died and 00:08:13.620 --> 00:08:16.620 rose from the grave and send the Holy Spirit 00:08:16.620 --> 00:08:22.629 so it was a glorious time that this son was born 00:08:22.629 --> 00:08:27.129 again in the flesh back to this woman. But before we go to the New Testament, 00:08:33.970 --> 00:08:36.629 and I'm talking about physical death as well, 00:08:36.889 --> 00:08:39.090 spiritual death. Absolutely. That's the most 00:08:39.090 --> 00:08:41.309 important and the greatest miracle is for us 00:08:41.309 --> 00:08:45.870 to have spiritual life, life of God that we would 00:08:45.870 --> 00:08:48.870 one day go to heaven and live with God eternally. 00:08:49.080 --> 00:08:52.720 That's what God wanted. In second Kings, we're going to chapter 00:09:09.320 --> 00:09:13.600 13 and verse 21 and 22. You know, when the prophet 00:09:13.600 --> 00:09:16.799 Elisha Not Elijah. There's there two different 00:09:16.799 --> 00:09:20.039 people. Elisha died. He was buried and there 00:09:20.039 --> 00:09:23.080 were groups. This is in verse 20 groups of Moabite 00:09:23.080 --> 00:09:26.700 Raiders using to use to invade the land each 00:09:26.700 --> 00:09:30.379 spring. Once when some Israelites were burying 00:09:30.379 --> 00:09:33.980 a man, they spied and saw these Raiders. So they 00:09:33.980 --> 00:09:37.480 hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha 00:09:37.480 --> 00:09:43.679 and fled. But as soon as the body Touched Elisha's 00:09:43.679 --> 00:09:47.419 bones the dead man revived and jumped to his 00:09:47.419 --> 00:09:51.960 feet How about that? Glory to God because the 00:09:51.960 --> 00:09:56.000 power of God that resided in Elisha's life was 00:09:56.000 --> 00:10:00.940 still on his bones and so when they just Hastily 00:10:00.940 --> 00:10:04.139 because they were in fear through that body on 00:10:04.139 --> 00:10:08.590 the bones of Elisha He lived again He lived to 00:10:08.590 --> 00:10:11.309 get another example of the power of the Most 00:10:11.309 --> 00:10:14.850 High God, the resurrection power bringing life, 00:10:15.429 --> 00:10:19.190 life, life. And that's what the Word says. The 00:10:19.190 --> 00:10:22.190 Word of God is life to those who find it and 00:10:22.190 --> 00:10:25.590 health to all our flesh. The version I'm reading 00:10:25.590 --> 00:10:28.070 in today is a new living translation. So it may 00:10:28.070 --> 00:10:31.990 sound a little different than what you are, what 00:10:31.990 --> 00:10:34.889 you may have at home or there with you. Abraham never wavered believing 00:13:27.049 --> 00:13:31.669 God's promise. In fact, faith grew stronger and 00:13:31.669 --> 00:13:35.629 in this he brought glory to God. You know, he says in John 3 00:15:05.309 --> 00:15:07.909 John 2 beloved. I wish above all things that 00:15:07.909 --> 00:15:10.529 you would prosper and be in health even as your 00:15:10.529 --> 00:15:13.320 soul prospers. He said if you abide in me and 00:15:13.320 --> 00:15:15.580 my words abide in you, you will ask what you 00:15:15.580 --> 00:15:19.960 want and you it shall be done. If you your his 00:15:19.960 --> 00:15:22.799 words abide in us and we abide in him. Glory 00:15:22.799 --> 00:15:25.399 to God.
