This is the same Jacob. We talked 00:01:03.820 --> 00:01:08.840 about last week whose new name is Israel and 00:01:08.840 --> 00:01:12.540 Jesus therefore was tired with from his journey. 00:01:12.540 --> 00:01:15.280 And so he sat down by the whale and it was about 00:01:15.280 --> 00:01:18.829 noon time. And there came a woman from Samaria 00:01:18.829 --> 00:01:23.549 to draw water. Jesus said unto her, give me to 00:01:23.549 --> 00:01:26.670 drink, for his disciples were gone away to the 00:01:26.670 --> 00:01:31.870 city to buy meat. And then come back and the woman 00:03:44.229 --> 00:03:48.389 said I don't have a husband and Jesus said you 00:03:48.389 --> 00:03:51.229 have said well that you have no husband for actually 00:03:51.229 --> 00:03:54.030 you've had five husbands and the guy you're with 00:03:54.030 --> 00:03:57.969 now is not your husband. You 00:07:05.649 --> 00:07:09.470 could tell and she beat herself down because 00:07:09.470 --> 00:07:11.750 she's from Samaria and they were looked down 00:07:11.750 --> 00:07:16.870 upon from the Jews and and here's loving compassionate 00:07:16.870 --> 00:07:21.269 merciful Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom we both 00:07:21.269 --> 00:07:25.829 love and serve and he's reaching out to her and 00:07:25.829 --> 00:07:29.800 he's saying to her come and drink. The water 00:07:29.800 --> 00:07:32.680 that makes you never thirst again. In other words, 00:07:32.680 --> 00:07:37.279 I can fulfill you in a way that water in the 00:07:37.279 --> 00:07:43.759 natural can't. You know, many people, especially 00:07:43.759 --> 00:07:46.600 people that are people of comfort. In other words, 00:07:46.600 --> 00:07:51.339 they have enough wealth or enough substance that 00:07:51.339 --> 00:07:54.279 they're comfortable. Their life is easy. They're 00:07:54.279 --> 00:07:58.279 breezy, but something's missing. There's always 00:07:58.279 --> 00:08:01.480 going to be that void till you meet him as she 00:08:01.480 --> 00:08:05.980 did till you meet Jesus Christ Because he is 00:08:05.980 --> 00:08:09.579 life itself. The Bible says he is the way he 00:08:09.579 --> 00:08:13.680 is the truth and he is the life and If you need 00:08:13.680 --> 00:08:17.800 a broken heart healed today like she did, you 00:08:17.800 --> 00:08:21.759 know Psalms 147 3 says he heals the broken -hearted 00:08:21.759 --> 00:08:25.040 and binds up their wounds You know, when I met 00:08:25.040 --> 00:08:29.519 Jesus back when I was 21, 22, I was in that same 00:08:29.519 --> 00:08:32.039 place with her not not having five husbands, 00:08:32.120 --> 00:08:36.159 but I was had been in a relationship and I was 00:08:36.159 --> 00:08:41.080 very broken hearted at that point. And just feeling, 00:08:41.080 --> 00:08:44.200 you know, just trying to get through days and 00:08:44.200 --> 00:08:47.259 and going to work and doing what I needed to 00:08:47.259 --> 00:08:50.080 do. And thankfully, someone came along and kept 00:08:50.080 --> 00:08:53.950 I say pestering me. to go to church with them 00:08:53.950 --> 00:08:58.750 and when I went I was exposed to the truth about 00:08:58.750 --> 00:09:02.730 Jesus Christ and it made me have some questions 00:09:02.730 --> 00:09:05.590 and later my friend and I went to a place and 00:09:05.590 --> 00:09:08.669 I asked questions, she shared the word and my 00:09:08.669 --> 00:09:11.850 eyes were opened and I received Jesus and he 00:09:11.850 --> 00:09:16.529 came in and healed my heart. He goes where no 00:09:16.529 --> 00:09:19.809 man can go. And he does what no man can do a 00:09:19.809 --> 00:09:22.970 surgeon can't heal. He can heal your physical 00:09:22.970 --> 00:09:26.110 heart, but he can't heal your heart of hearts. 00:09:26.830 --> 00:09:30.909 But Jesus can and Jesus will if you will reach 00:09:30.909 --> 00:09:36.009 out to him. If you will allow him to he will 00:09:36.009 --> 00:09:41.980 do it. He will heal your heart. So don't think Jesus isn't 00:09:56.539 --> 00:09:59.019 interested in you and what's going on in your 00:09:59.019 --> 00:10:02.379 life. He's interested in every single detail 00:10:02.379 --> 00:10:07.620 Psalms 56 8 says. You kept track of all my sorrows. 00:10:07.860 --> 00:10:10.679 You have collected all my tears in a bottle and 00:10:10.679 --> 00:10:13.940 you have recorded each one of them in a book. 00:10:14.539 --> 00:10:17.480 Verse 9 says my enemies will retreat when I call 00:10:17.480 --> 00:10:20.600 on you for help. Do you know that he has kept 00:10:20.600 --> 00:10:24.559 every tear you've shed in a bottle and he's written 00:10:24.559 --> 00:10:29.340 down and recorded each time that you cry and 00:10:29.340 --> 00:10:33.000 what it was about? His mercy is there 00:13:14.139 --> 00:13:16.919 all the time. The fact that we're still breathing 00:13:16.919 --> 00:13:20.039 if we don't know Jesus and he's still giving 00:13:20.039 --> 00:13:23.639 us opportunity to know him. That's a blessing 00:13:23.639 --> 00:13:26.659 in itself that we're not even aware of the fact 00:13:26.659 --> 00:13:30.460 that I went 21 years not knowing Jesus. I wasn't 00:13:30.460 --> 00:13:34.179 raised in a Christian home. But according to the Holy Word 00:13:50.779 --> 00:13:54.639 of God that was inspired, written by men, but 00:13:54.639 --> 00:13:58.360 inspired by the Holy Ghost to be written, it's 00:13:58.360 --> 00:14:02.149 truth. He told me all 00:15:08.690 --> 00:15:11.870 things that I did. So when the Samaritans were 00:15:11.870 --> 00:15:16.090 come to him, they asked him. and that he would 00:15:16.090 --> 00:15:18.990 stay with them and he stayed in Samaria for two 00:15:18.990 --> 00:15:22.789 days and many more believed because of his word 00:15:22.789 --> 00:15:26.350 and they said unto the woman now we believe not 00:15:26.350 --> 00:15:29.909 because of your saying for we have heard him 00:15:29.909 --> 00:15:33.350 ourselves and we know this is indeed the Christ 00:15:33.350 --> 00:15:36.720 the Savior of the world. But earlier it said 00:15:36.720 --> 00:15:40.940 they came to see him because she told them the 00:15:40.940 --> 00:15:43.799 same way if you and I will share our testimony 00:15:43.799 --> 00:15:47.779 of how God saved us and delivered us and healed 00:15:47.779 --> 00:15:51.019 us and that other people will want to hear of 00:15:51.019 --> 00:15:53.840 his goodness because everybody has need of a 00:15:53.840 --> 00:15:58.340 Savior everybody. And the Bible says, you 00:16:06.600 --> 00:16:09.179 know, how can they know unless they hear? How 00:16:09.179 --> 00:16:11.919 can they hear unless a preach? They hear the 00:16:11.919 --> 00:16:14.559 preaching of the word. And how can the preaching 00:16:14.559 --> 00:16:18.080 of the word happen unless someone goes? Does 00:16:18.080 --> 00:16:20.360 that mean we're all called into fivefold ministry? 00:16:20.419 --> 00:16:23.679 No, but the Bible says that he told his disciples, 00:16:24.039 --> 00:16:27.279 you go and preach the word. We are all to share 00:16:27.279 --> 00:16:29.340 our testimony. That's what preaching the word 00:16:29.340 --> 00:16:32.720 is telling someone Jesus loves them. That's preaching 00:16:32.720 --> 00:16:35.769 the word. You don't have to know the Bible inside 00:16:35.769 --> 00:16:38.710 out every day. People are dying going to hell 00:16:38.710 --> 00:16:42.889 just that fast every day every day every day 00:16:42.889 --> 00:16:46.590 every day. And so we want to share Jesus and 00:16:46.590 --> 00:16:49.350 give them that opportunity. Will everybody accept 00:16:49.350 --> 00:16:54.289 him? No, unfortunately, but we want to give everybody 00:16:54.289 --> 00:16:58.450 opportunity for those that do because and it 00:16:58.450 --> 00:17:02.009 will be fruit to your heavenly account. So God 00:17:02.009 --> 00:17:04.250 will grant you boldness. If you ask him Lord 00:17:04.250 --> 00:17:06.869 grant me boldness that I can be a witness. That's 00:17:06.869 --> 00:17:09.049 what happened when he sent the disciples after 00:17:09.049 --> 00:17:11.849 he was raised from the dead. He sent them to 00:17:11.849 --> 00:17:14.509 the upper room and said stay there till you be 00:17:14.509 --> 00:17:17.869 in dude with power from on high to be witnesses 00:17:17.869 --> 00:17:22.470 to be witnesses. Hallelujah. Don't you go and share it?
