Soon the house where he was staying 00:01:08.599 --> 00:01:11.739 was so packed with visitors there was no room 00:01:11.739 --> 00:01:15.200 even outside the door. While he was preaching 00:01:15.200 --> 00:01:17.840 God's word to them, four men arrived carrying 00:01:17.840 --> 00:01:21.859 a paralyzed man on a mat. They couldn't bring 00:01:21.859 --> 00:01:25.700 him in to see Jesus because of the crowd. So 00:01:25.700 --> 00:01:28.379 they dug a hole through the roof above his head 00:01:28.379 --> 00:01:32.540 and then lowered the man on his mat right down 00:01:32.540 --> 00:01:37.340 in front of Jesus. Wow talk about that's some 00:01:37.340 --> 00:01:41.260 real friends. I mean they had heard that God 00:01:41.260 --> 00:01:45.099 was healing people through Jesus and they wanted 00:01:45.099 --> 00:01:48.340 to make sure their friend got in front of Jesus 00:01:48.340 --> 00:01:51.319 and it was so packed that they went and tore 00:01:51.319 --> 00:01:53.799 a hole in the roof just to get him in front. 00:01:54.010 --> 00:01:56.189 That's some really good friends. But some of the teachers of the religious 00:02:36.030 --> 00:02:38.270 law who were sitting there thought to themselves, 00:02:38.770 --> 00:02:41.490 what is he saying? This is blasphemy. Only God 00:02:41.490 --> 00:02:45.389 can forgive sin. But Jesus knew immediately what 00:02:45.389 --> 00:02:48.169 they were thinking. And so he asked them, he 00:02:48.169 --> 00:02:51.229 said, why do you question in your hearts? Is 00:02:51.229 --> 00:02:53.949 it easier to say to the paralyzed man, your sins 00:02:53.949 --> 00:02:56.889 are forgiven or stand up and pick up your mat 00:02:56.889 --> 00:02:59.919 and walk? So I will prove to you that the Son 00:02:59.919 --> 00:03:02.659 of Man has the authority on earth to forgive 00:03:02.659 --> 00:03:06.879 sin." And then Jesus said and turned to the paralyzed 00:03:06.879 --> 00:03:09.460 man, stand up, pick up your mat and go home. 00:03:10.500 --> 00:03:13.680 The man jumped up, grabbed his mat and walked 00:03:13.680 --> 00:03:17.159 out through the stunned onlookers. Why is it all inclusive? He talks about by those stripes 00:04:36.550 --> 00:04:41.269 we were healed. Jesus took our sin and took our 00:04:41.269 --> 00:04:45.910 sickness. Hallelujah. Do you know in Isaiah In 00:04:45.910 --> 00:04:52.389 Isaiah, it was prophesied 700 years before Christ 00:04:52.389 --> 00:04:56.069 was on the scene. That's how perfect the Word 00:04:56.069 --> 00:04:59.129 of God is. You know, that was prophesied that 00:04:59.129 --> 00:05:02.689 many years before and then Jesus shows up and 00:05:02.689 --> 00:05:07.389 everything they prophesied came to pass. God 00:05:07.389 --> 00:05:11.709 is a good God. He loves you and he blesses you. 00:05:12.009 --> 00:05:16.279 He loves you and he blesses you. Let's talk about, 00:05:16.279 --> 00:05:19.420 you know, the difference. There's a scripture 00:05:19.420 --> 00:05:24.259 in John 10, 10. It said, the thief comes to steal, 00:05:24.379 --> 00:05:27.259 kill, and destroy, but I have come, this is Jesus 00:05:27.259 --> 00:05:31.500 speaking, that you may have life and life abundantly. 00:05:32.360 --> 00:05:37.160 So the word of God being true says that the thief 00:05:37.160 --> 00:05:39.279 comes to steal, kill, and destroy. The thief 00:05:39.279 --> 00:05:44.149 is the enemy, the enemy that was allowed to get 00:05:44.149 --> 00:05:47.569 involved on the earth when Adam fell. When Adam 00:05:47.569 --> 00:05:51.670 sinned, that opened up the earth. The earth became 00:05:51.670 --> 00:05:55.769 cursed. Satan had rule and reign. So he likes 00:05:55.769 --> 00:05:59.149 to run around. And although Jesus gets blamed 00:05:59.149 --> 00:06:01.930 for sickness, he doesn't put sickness on people. 00:06:02.009 --> 00:06:05.110 He came to heal people. He came to set them free. 00:06:05.709 --> 00:06:07.949 And so let's talk about sickness for a minute. 00:06:08.290 --> 00:06:10.430 If the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, 00:06:10.910 --> 00:06:13.230 Let's talk about sickness. Does sickness steal? 00:06:13.970 --> 00:06:17.470 Yes, it steals your health. It steals your time. 00:06:17.569 --> 00:06:21.629 It steals your money. Does it kill? Yes, many 00:06:21.629 --> 00:06:25.769 people die of disease and sickness. Does it destroy? 00:06:26.089 --> 00:06:29.810 Yes, it destroys lives. It destroys family. And 00:06:29.810 --> 00:06:33.149 who did Jesus say still kills and destroy the 00:06:33.149 --> 00:06:37.009 thief? But Jesus is I've come to give life and 00:06:37.009 --> 00:06:40.990 more life abundantly. That's why. healing and 00:06:40.990 --> 00:06:46.029 divine health is of God. Right? He's not doing 00:06:46.029 --> 00:06:48.350 it to teach his children something. There are 00:06:48.350 --> 00:06:50.350 lots of ways to teach children. Would you put 00:06:50.350 --> 00:06:52.470 sickness on your child to teach them something? 00:06:53.110 --> 00:06:57.069 Heavens no. Heavens no. And neither would Jesus. 00:06:58.029 --> 00:07:02.189 Jesus healed every person in the Bible that came 00:07:02.189 --> 00:07:05.930 to him. The only thing he required is that they 00:07:05.930 --> 00:07:10.730 believe and they act out their belief. So with 00:07:10.730 --> 00:07:14.870 every person that said, I believe they had to 00:07:14.870 --> 00:07:19.189 act because faith without works is dead. So it's 00:07:19.189 --> 00:07:22.670 an amazing thing that God created man to live 00:07:22.670 --> 00:07:27.029 heavenly on earth when he created Eden and Adam 00:07:27.029 --> 00:07:29.569 and Eve and they were doing great, right? Adam 00:07:29.569 --> 00:07:32.009 named every animal that was ever created. Can 00:07:32.009 --> 00:07:36.240 you imagine that? Wow. That's how fully functional 00:07:36.240 --> 00:07:40.639 our brain was back then before the fall. They 00:07:40.639 --> 00:07:42.759 were living it out. The only thing they couldn't 00:07:42.759 --> 00:07:45.199 do is eat of the tree of the knowledge of good 00:07:45.199 --> 00:07:47.879 and evil. And that's the thing the enemy came. 00:07:48.160 --> 00:07:51.779 He tested them by having them question what God 00:07:51.779 --> 00:07:54.439 said to them. And that's what he likes to do. 00:07:54.480 --> 00:07:56.980 He likes to put a doubt, a thought in your mind. 00:07:57.279 --> 00:07:59.160 Not every thought that comes in your mind is 00:07:59.160 --> 00:08:02.120 yours, but it's whether we take that thought. 00:08:03.439 --> 00:08:06.360 Right? You don't have to take every thought in 00:08:06.360 --> 00:08:08.839 your brain. Every thought that comes in your 00:08:08.839 --> 00:08:11.399 head is not your thought. It may be put there 00:08:11.399 --> 00:08:13.560 by something you heard. It may be put there by 00:08:13.560 --> 00:08:17.100 the enemy. Maybe put there by God. Maybe put 00:08:17.100 --> 00:08:19.459 there through something you read. So you want 00:08:19.459 --> 00:08:23.269 to take out those thoughts that are not in line 00:08:23.269 --> 00:08:25.649 with God's Word and replace them with thoughts 00:08:25.649 --> 00:08:28.089 in line with God's Word. Meditate on the Word 00:08:28.089 --> 00:08:30.769 day and night. That means think about it, dwell 00:08:30.769 --> 00:08:33.710 on it, chew on it, because it's going to bring 00:08:33.710 --> 00:08:36.330 life and health to all your flesh. That's what 00:08:36.330 --> 00:08:40.610 the Bible says. You know, in Exodus 15 -23, he 00:08:40.610 --> 00:08:44.529 said, I am the God who heals you. I am the God 00:08:44.529 --> 00:08:48.500 who heals you. Hallelujah. You know, and after 00:08:48.500 --> 00:08:53.139 that design, you know, the land was cursed. Then 00:08:53.139 --> 00:08:56.179 came the plan of redemption and Jesus came to 00:08:56.179 --> 00:09:00.100 take those stripes to bear our sin, to be raised 00:09:00.100 --> 00:09:03.720 from the dead. That took care of it. That was 00:09:03.720 --> 00:09:07.700 the payment for our sin and our sickness. It's 00:09:07.700 --> 00:09:13.029 all inclusive. And now we are the proof of his 00:09:13.029 --> 00:09:17.230 design by going out, preaching the word, teaching, 00:09:17.490 --> 00:09:19.929 laying hands on the sick that they would recover. 00:09:20.669 --> 00:09:23.070 Casting out demons, that's what Jesus told his 00:09:23.070 --> 00:09:25.190 disciples to do and that's what he's still telling 00:09:25.190 --> 00:09:28.750 his disciples to do, the good news. There is 00:09:28.750 --> 00:09:32.049 no bad news when it comes to Christ. It's all 00:09:32.049 --> 00:09:36.149 good. The same word of God that Jesus used out 00:09:36.149 --> 00:09:39.779 of his mouth, we use today. He used the word. 00:09:39.840 --> 00:09:42.720 He spoke the word against the enemy. You know, 00:09:42.720 --> 00:09:45.480 when he was tempted 40 days in the wilderness, 00:09:45.899 --> 00:09:48.139 how did he defeat the enemy in the wilderness 00:09:48.139 --> 00:09:51.059 with temptation? He spoke the word. He said, 00:09:51.259 --> 00:09:54.259 it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, 00:09:54.299 --> 00:09:56.919 but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth 00:09:56.919 --> 00:10:01.519 of God. We are to live by every word out of the 00:10:01.519 --> 00:10:03.919 mouth of God. And do you know, when we do that, 00:10:04.279 --> 00:10:09.580 let's turn over to Mark. 11, 22 through 25. I 00:10:09.580 --> 00:10:13.940 want to read you what Jesus promises. He says, 00:10:14.759 --> 00:10:18.539 and Jesus said to the disciples, have faith in 00:10:18.539 --> 00:10:22.240 God. I tell you the truth. You can say to this 00:10:22.240 --> 00:10:25.559 mountain, be lifted up and cast into the sea 00:10:25.559 --> 00:10:29.480 and it will happen. But you must trust in your 00:10:29.480 --> 00:10:32.679 heart and have no doubt. I tell you, you can 00:10:32.679 --> 00:10:35.639 pray for anything. And if you believe you receive 00:10:35.639 --> 00:10:39.940 it, it will be yours. But when you're praying, 00:10:39.940 --> 00:10:43.659 forgive anyone you're holding a grudge against 00:10:43.659 --> 00:10:46.480 so that your father in heaven will forgive your 00:10:46.480 --> 00:10:49.779 sins. Well 00:11:42.480 --> 00:11:45.600 if Jesus healed every person while he was on 00:11:45.600 --> 00:11:48.360 earth that came to him and asked why wouldn't 00:11:48.360 --> 00:11:50.580 he heal you why wouldn't he heal me he didn't 00:11:50.580 --> 00:11:52.759 stop and ask them well tell me about your life 00:11:52.759 --> 00:11:55.259 tell me about your sin in your life he didn't 00:11:55.259 --> 00:12:00.389 do any of that he had mercy and compassion. He wants you blessed. The Bible says as we just 00:13:05.330 --> 00:13:08.409 read, speak to that mountain and command it to 00:13:08.409 --> 00:13:12.309 be cast into the sea in the name of Jesus because 00:13:12.309 --> 00:13:14.330 that's where the power and the authority comes 00:13:14.330 --> 00:13:16.909 from. It's just like a policeman standing in 00:13:16.909 --> 00:13:20.049 the street. If he was in plain clothes and you 00:13:20.049 --> 00:13:22.970 didn't know, that he had the authority and he 00:13:22.970 --> 00:13:25.269 didn't know he had the authority to stop traffic. 00:13:25.669 --> 00:13:28.070 People would either run around him or run over 00:13:28.070 --> 00:13:31.210 him. We 00:14:35.690 --> 00:14:39.029 live by the Word of God because Jesus said, I'm 00:14:39.029 --> 00:14:43.399 the way, I'm the truth, and I'm the life.
