Yes, he can heal 00:05:51.500 --> 00:05:54.100 you through doctors, but he can also heal you 00:05:54.100 --> 00:05:57.199 supernaturally. He wants us to depend on him 00:05:57.199 --> 00:06:00.240 for everything. He's the king of kings. So in 00:06:00.240 --> 00:06:03.759 the kingdom of God, When you become born again 00:06:03.759 --> 00:06:07.500 and receive Jesus as your savior and repent of 00:06:07.500 --> 00:06:11.360 your sin, you enter the kingdom of God and therefore 00:06:11.360 --> 00:06:13.939 he rules and reigns. He sent the Holy Spirit, empowered 00:06:34.379 --> 00:06:37.839 us to do those same works. And the proof of that 00:06:37.839 --> 00:06:40.480 is in Acts 5, one of the places, there's many 00:06:40.480 --> 00:06:43.800 places in the Word of God, 512, it says the apostles 00:06:43.800 --> 00:06:47.480 were performing many miraculous signs and wonders 00:06:47.480 --> 00:06:51.329 among the people. And all the believers were 00:06:51.329 --> 00:06:53.949 meeting regularly at the temple in the area known 00:06:53.949 --> 00:06:58.310 as Solomon's Colonnade. But no one ever dared 00:06:58.310 --> 00:07:00.490 to join them, though all the people had high 00:07:00.490 --> 00:07:03.529 regard for them. Yet more and more people believed 00:07:03.529 --> 00:07:06.459 and were brought to the Lord. crowds both men 00:07:06.459 --> 00:07:09.540 and women. As a result of the apostle's work, 00:07:09.959 --> 00:07:12.759 sick people were brought in the streets in beds 00:07:12.759 --> 00:07:17.079 and mats so Peter's shadow might fall across 00:07:17.079 --> 00:07:20.139 them as he went by.
