You know, John 1 1 through 3 tells us that 00:03:00.060 --> 00:03:02.379 in the beginning was the word. The word was God 00:03:02.379 --> 00:03:07.289 and the word was with God. So we know that Jesus 00:03:07.289 --> 00:03:10.729 is the word of God. You may read it and go, wow, he's talking 00:03:35.889 --> 00:03:38.789 about me. And that's a good place. The word of God 00:03:44.810 --> 00:03:47.889 is for our benefit. Every time we apply the word 00:03:47.889 --> 00:03:51.030 to our life, it's for our benefit. Philippians four, eight, 00:04:43.459 --> 00:04:45.839 and nine says, finally, my brother, whatsoever 00:04:45.839 --> 00:04:48.220 things are true, honest, pure, lovely, and of 00:04:48.220 --> 00:04:50.500 a good report, if there be any virtue, if there 00:04:50.500 --> 00:04:52.899 be any praise, think on these things. We have 00:04:52.899 --> 00:04:55.220 to have the mind of God and we get that by getting 00:04:55.220 --> 00:04:58.040 the word of God in us. And knowing all of it, it 00:05:09.959 --> 00:05:14.959 works by love. God's faith works by love. Why? 00:05:15.399 --> 00:05:19.100 God loves you and I so very much. He did all 00:05:19.100 --> 00:05:22.500 of this so that you and I could be a champion 00:05:22.500 --> 00:05:25.980 in Christ here on the earth. And so Philippians 00:05:25.980 --> 00:05:29.709 4 8 says, I'm sorry Romans 8 5 says for they 00:05:29.709 --> 00:05:32.069 that are after the flesh mind the things of the 00:05:32.069 --> 00:05:34.649 flesh but they that are after the spirit mind 00:05:34.649 --> 00:05:37.610 the things of the spirit for to be carnally minded 00:05:37.610 --> 00:05:41.370 is death but to be spiritually minded is life 00:05:41.370 --> 00:05:45.610 and peace so the more we fill up our spirit to 00:05:45.610 --> 00:05:50.040 overflow The more we will be walking in the spirit 00:05:50.040 --> 00:05:53.259 and the Bible says that if we walk after the 00:05:53.259 --> 00:05:55.939 spirit will not fulfill the lust of the flesh 00:05:55.939 --> 00:06:00.220 so our Man when when we came to live in Jesus 00:06:00.220 --> 00:06:03.819 Christ when he came to live in us the indwelling, 00:06:04.019 --> 00:06:06.560 the Holy Spirit of God came. As we just read right here, 00:07:08.540 --> 00:07:11.980 if we don't mix that word with faith, if we don't 00:07:11.980 --> 00:07:15.600 mix that word, if we don't go into God's Word 00:07:15.600 --> 00:07:18.620 or into church or into a place where we hear 00:07:18.620 --> 00:07:21.800 the Word of God with a heart to receive, with 00:07:21.800 --> 00:07:25.290 a heart excited to spend time with Him, That's 00:07:25.290 --> 00:07:28.310 what he wants the most is your time. Let it not depart from you. If 00:11:56.279 --> 00:11:59.159 he's harassing you today through fear, doubt, 00:11:59.480 --> 00:12:02.919 unbelief, or anything else, you submit yourself 00:12:02.919 --> 00:12:05.620 to God, God, I submit to you. Resist the devil, 00:12:05.779 --> 00:12:09.220 say Satan, I resist you in Jesus' name. and he 00:12:09.220 --> 00:12:12.799 has to flee. And he shook the beast off. of the 00:14:28.139 --> 00:14:32.299 viper out of the fire and fell no harm. He was 00:14:32.299 --> 00:14:36.200 no harm, no harm, but because of that what ends 00:14:36.200 --> 00:14:39.929 up happening. is that they looked on him, it 00:14:39.929 --> 00:14:43.250 was swollen, the snake had fallen dead, and to 00:14:43.250 --> 00:14:46.070 them, they thought he was a god. These barbarians 00:14:46.070 --> 00:14:48.289 thought, oh my gosh, this guy is a god because 00:14:48.289 --> 00:14:50.730 that snake didn't kill him. But what it was was 00:14:50.730 --> 00:14:53.509 the Holy Spirit lived in it and Paul understood 00:14:53.509 --> 00:14:56.669 the power of God that worked in him and knew 00:14:56.669 --> 00:15:00.470 that snake could not touch him because God said 00:15:00.470 --> 00:15:03.730 in his word, he's given us power over all the 00:15:03.730 --> 00:15:06.440 works of the devil.
