There's 00:00:33.630 --> 00:00:37.530 a wonderful section of scripture. Well, all of 00:00:37.530 --> 00:00:40.009 scripture is wonderful. But in this particular 00:00:40.009 --> 00:00:42.509 one, we're going to start in Ephesians 6, 10. 00:00:42.630 --> 00:00:45.570 It says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the 00:00:45.570 --> 00:00:48.390 Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the 00:00:48.390 --> 00:00:51.920 whole armor of God. that you may be able to stand 00:00:51.920 --> 00:00:55.359 against the schemes of the devil, for we wrestle 00:00:55.359 --> 00:00:58.159 not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, 00:00:58.340 --> 00:01:02.259 powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, 00:01:02.920 --> 00:01:06.260 rulers against spiritual wickedness in high places. 00:01:07.079 --> 00:01:09.480 Wherefore, take unto you the whole arm of God 00:01:09.480 --> 00:01:12.719 that you may be able to withstand in the evil 00:01:12.719 --> 00:01:16.819 day and having done all stand." And 00:01:26.390 --> 00:01:29.170 he's telling us that our fight is not with flesh 00:01:29.170 --> 00:01:33.230 and blood. Our fight is not with man. It is not 00:01:33.230 --> 00:01:36.950 with women. It is with spiritual forces and wickedness 00:01:36.950 --> 00:01:39.250 in high places. This is what the Bible says. 00:01:40.109 --> 00:01:44.609 And so we need to fill ourselves with the word 00:01:44.609 --> 00:01:48.939 of God and it's going to help us stand. and take 00:01:48.939 --> 00:01:51.579 territory because the Bible says we are more 00:01:51.579 --> 00:01:54.819 than conquerors. You know Jesus said in Hebrews 00:01:54.819 --> 00:01:58.799 13 8 that Jesus is the same yesterday today and 00:01:58.799 --> 00:02:02.840 forever so he never changes and so his word never 00:02:02.840 --> 00:02:06.939 changes. You know Psalms 33 it says by the word 00:02:06.939 --> 00:02:10.000 of the Lord were the heavens made and all the 00:02:10.000 --> 00:02:13.039 hosts there by the breath of his mouth. You know 00:02:13.039 --> 00:02:16.020 God is still speaking today. You know, the Heavenly 00:02:16.020 --> 00:02:18.879 Father's on their throne. Jesus is on the throne. 00:02:19.500 --> 00:02:23.240 And the Holy Spirit was sent here by Jesus to 00:02:23.240 --> 00:02:26.780 fill the body of Christ. So we are the hands 00:02:26.780 --> 00:02:29.819 and the feet of God on the earth, all those who 00:02:29.819 --> 00:02:33.039 call upon the name of the Lord. And so we have 00:02:33.039 --> 00:02:37.379 been given much to help us live this life victoriously. 00:02:37.919 --> 00:02:40.680 We are more than conquerors. We are champions 00:02:40.680 --> 00:02:43.580 in Christ, not because of who we are in the natural, 00:02:43.939 --> 00:02:48.879 but who he is in us. He lives big in us. And so what we're going to talk about, one 00:02:54.680 --> 00:02:56.900 of the pieces of armor today, and it's in verse 00:02:56.900 --> 00:03:01.860 16, it says, above all, taking the shield of 00:03:01.860 --> 00:03:06.560 faith, wherewith you will be able to quench all 00:03:06.560 --> 00:03:10.939 the fiery darts of the wicked one. Wow, all the 00:03:10.939 --> 00:03:14.479 fiery darts by that shield of faith. Now the 00:03:14.479 --> 00:03:17.900 word of God says, that faith comes by hearing 00:03:17.900 --> 00:03:20.599 and hearing by the word of God. That's in Romans 00:03:20.599 --> 00:03:23.479 10, 17. So you have to hear it and you can't 00:03:23.479 --> 00:03:25.439 hear it once. You got to hear it and hear it 00:03:25.439 --> 00:03:26.860 and hear it and hear it and hear it. Just like 00:03:26.860 --> 00:03:30.680 your body every day needs bread and nourishment 00:03:30.680 --> 00:03:34.340 to carry you through the day. The same with your 00:03:34.340 --> 00:03:37.520 spirit man. Your spirit man needs the bread of 00:03:37.520 --> 00:03:40.849 life. which was Jesus. And Jesus, the Holy Spirit, 00:03:40.870 --> 00:03:43.569 and the Father are three in one. So the Holy 00:03:43.569 --> 00:03:46.169 Spirit living in us, when we read the word of 00:03:46.169 --> 00:03:49.889 God, He awakens that word. He brings it to life 00:03:49.889 --> 00:03:53.210 that we can receive it in our spirit and we can 00:03:53.210 --> 00:03:57.729 walk it out and be victorious in this life. The bigger the shield, the 00:04:07.979 --> 00:04:10.939 more you can accomplish. Because with faith, 00:04:11.159 --> 00:04:13.740 everything in God works by faith, even in the 00:04:13.740 --> 00:04:17.600 Old Testament. But we're going to talk about 00:04:17.600 --> 00:04:19.060 the New Testament. We're going to talk about 00:04:19.060 --> 00:04:23.420 when Jesus was on earth. So let's go over to 00:04:23.420 --> 00:04:26.699 Matthew. And we're going to start in chapter 00:04:26.699 --> 00:04:29.980 8, verse 1. And it says, And when he had came 00:04:29.980 --> 00:04:33.139 down from the mountain, great multitudes followed 00:04:33.139 --> 00:04:37.199 him. And there came a leopard who worshiped him 00:04:37.199 --> 00:04:40.759 saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean. 00:04:40.939 --> 00:04:43.480 And Jesus put forth his hand, touched the leper 00:04:43.480 --> 00:04:47.279 and said, I will be thou clean. And immediately 00:04:47.279 --> 00:04:52.019 his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said, see 00:04:52.019 --> 00:04:54.240 that you tell no man, but go your way and show 00:04:54.240 --> 00:04:56.319 yourself to the priest and offer the gift that 00:04:56.319 --> 00:05:00.300 Moses commanded for a testimony unto them. The 00:05:00.300 --> 00:05:03.860 leper, back then, Jesus still had not been resurrected. 00:05:04.040 --> 00:05:08.480 He was on earth. So the laws... in the Old Testament 00:05:08.480 --> 00:05:11.060 were still intact. So he had to fulfill the law. 00:05:11.100 --> 00:05:13.040 That's why Jesus told him to go to the priest. 00:05:13.540 --> 00:05:16.160 But did you notice that he came and worshiped 00:05:16.160 --> 00:05:19.759 him by calling him Lord? And then he said, I 00:05:19.759 --> 00:05:23.199 know you can make me clean if you will. It is 00:05:23.199 --> 00:05:26.860 God's will that you be healed today, that you 00:05:26.860 --> 00:05:29.699 walk in divine health. That's what his word says. 00:05:29.839 --> 00:05:32.899 That's why he took those 39 stripes on his back, 00:05:33.279 --> 00:05:37.560 that by those stripes, we were healed. scripture 00:05:37.560 --> 00:05:42.240 and so again Jesus is is again just available 00:05:42.240 --> 00:05:45.360 he's available for you today if you need healing 00:05:45.360 --> 00:05:47.819 in your body if you need healing in your mind 00:05:47.819 --> 00:05:51.399 if you need deliverance today you can call on 00:05:51.399 --> 00:05:54.819 his name in faith it's that faith that's going 00:05:54.819 --> 00:05:58.600 to produce results right So let's continue verse 00:05:58.600 --> 00:06:01.899 5, and Jesus entered into Capernaum and there 00:06:01.899 --> 00:06:05.480 came unto him a centurion beseeching him and 00:06:05.480 --> 00:06:08.060 saying, Lord, my servant lies at home is sick 00:06:08.060 --> 00:06:11.139 of palsy and grievously tormented. And Jesus 00:06:11.139 --> 00:06:14.779 said to him, I will come and heal him. The centurion 00:06:14.779 --> 00:06:17.779 said, Lord, I'm not worthy that you should come 00:06:17.779 --> 00:06:22.480 under my roof. Just speak the word only and my 00:06:22.480 --> 00:06:25.959 servant shall be healed. Did you hear his faith? 00:06:26.410 --> 00:06:29.509 Just speak the word only. He didn't need Jesus 00:06:29.509 --> 00:06:32.490 to come and touch his servant. He's just saying, 00:06:32.629 --> 00:06:36.189 if you just speak the word, I will trust that 00:06:36.189 --> 00:06:39.050 word and I know it will be done. That's faith. 00:06:39.430 --> 00:06:41.750 And that's where we're at today. We're like that 00:06:41.750 --> 00:06:44.689 centurion. You know, Jesus is not in the flesh 00:06:44.689 --> 00:06:47.910 here on earth with us, but he is the word of 00:06:47.910 --> 00:06:50.610 God. That's another name for him. And the Holy 00:06:50.610 --> 00:06:54.329 Spirit brings it to life. And so we can trust 00:06:54.329 --> 00:06:57.149 his word like the centurion. Just believe it. 00:06:57.170 --> 00:07:00.129 That's it. The work of God is to believe him. 00:07:00.610 --> 00:07:03.269 And so if we believe him, we would get a lot 00:07:03.269 --> 00:07:06.069 accomplished on the earth. And we would see a 00:07:06.069 --> 00:07:09.870 lot of exciting, wonderful blessings from heaven. 00:07:10.589 --> 00:07:14.050 And so he had some action to put behind that 00:07:14.050 --> 00:07:18.300 faith. But the centurion continues and says I 00:07:18.300 --> 00:07:21.079 am a man under authority having soldiers unto 00:07:21.079 --> 00:07:24.100 me and I say to this man go and he goes into 00:07:24.100 --> 00:07:26.899 another come and he comes and to my servant do 00:07:26.899 --> 00:07:29.720 this and he does it. When Jesus heard this he 00:07:29.720 --> 00:07:33.220 marveled and said to them that followed truly 00:07:33.220 --> 00:07:37.220 I say to you I have found I have not found so 00:07:37.220 --> 00:07:41.600 great of faith, not in all of Israel." Wow, this 00:07:41.600 --> 00:07:44.899 man had such faith, and he explained to him why 00:07:44.899 --> 00:07:48.040 he had faith. He believed it. He believed, you 00:07:48.040 --> 00:07:51.180 say it and it'll happen. You know, Jesus is the 00:07:51.180 --> 00:07:55.800 King of Kings. He is the leader. He is the mighty 00:07:55.800 --> 00:07:59.980 one of Israel. And so we should trust him. We 00:07:59.980 --> 00:08:04.720 should trust him. You know, it's amazing that 00:08:04.519 --> 00:08:10.300 a man that did not pursue God heard about Jesus 00:08:10.300 --> 00:08:14.139 and came to him and said, I will believe you 00:08:14.139 --> 00:08:17.540 if you just say it. You know, how do we believe 00:08:17.540 --> 00:08:20.740 people that just say something to us? Because 00:08:20.740 --> 00:08:24.600 we trust them, we trust them. How do you trust 00:08:24.600 --> 00:08:27.800 someone you get to know them? So again, until 00:08:27.800 --> 00:08:30.879 we get digging in the Word and we find out just 00:08:30.879 --> 00:08:34.139 who Jesus was and how big He was and how much 00:08:34.139 --> 00:08:37.059 we can trust Him, you know, every time you read 00:08:37.059 --> 00:08:39.519 the Word or hear the Word of God being preached, 00:08:39.519 --> 00:08:43.000 the full counsel of God, it will increase your 00:08:43.000 --> 00:08:46.720 faith in who He is and what He said He will do, 00:08:47.039 --> 00:08:50.659 He will do. He said His covenant He will not 00:08:50.659 --> 00:08:53.250 break. nor alter the words that have gone out 00:08:53.250 --> 00:08:57.409 of his lips he will not go against anything he 00:08:57.409 --> 00:09:03.330 has said hallelujah praise be to god and so on 00:09:03.330 --> 00:09:06.429 verse 13 jesus said unto the centurion go your 00:09:06.429 --> 00:09:09.350 way for as you have believed so it will be done 00:09:09.350 --> 00:09:13.710 unto you and his servant was healed in that self 00:09:13.710 --> 00:09:17.700 same hour The same hour when he started taking 00:09:17.700 --> 00:09:21.340 steps away from Jesus knowing in his heart believing 00:09:21.340 --> 00:09:26.259 it was done. It was done and where did the face 00:09:26.259 --> 00:09:30.360 show up first out of his mouth and that's the 00:09:30.360 --> 00:09:33.460 same with us. If you listen to yourself, you'll 00:09:33.460 --> 00:09:36.080 know whether you have faith about something if 00:09:36.080 --> 00:09:39.879 you are saying, oh, I'm believing that I'm healed. 00:09:40.509 --> 00:09:43.230 then you don't have that face not grounded in 00:09:43.230 --> 00:09:46.750 you yet because just like the centurion, if you 00:09:46.750 --> 00:09:50.509 say it's done, Jesus, it's done. You know, faith 00:09:50.509 --> 00:09:54.250 works from the inside out. So when faith connects 00:09:54.250 --> 00:09:57.909 on the inside of you with the Holy Spirit, then 00:09:57.909 --> 00:10:00.730 that healing will break forth in your body. It 00:10:00.730 --> 00:10:03.669 may not show up immediately. It may show up immediately 00:10:03.669 --> 00:10:08.230 many times in the Word of God. When Jesus healed 00:10:08.230 --> 00:10:10.409 someone, it was immediate. When the disciples 00:10:10.409 --> 00:10:14.350 healed someone, it was immediate. And today there 00:10:14.350 --> 00:10:16.750 are men and women walk the body of Christ has 00:10:16.750 --> 00:10:20.250 access to first of all, the name of Jesus. There 00:10:20.250 --> 00:10:23.929 is no other name like that name. That name is 00:10:23.929 --> 00:10:28.190 all powerful. Every knee shall bow. Every name 00:10:28.190 --> 00:10:32.190 bows to that name. So whatever your disease name 00:10:32.190 --> 00:10:36.909 is, it has to bow to the name of Jesus. If you 00:10:36.909 --> 00:10:40.129 believe it, if you can receive it, that's what 00:10:40.129 --> 00:10:44.379 the word says, you know. I'll take you to Mark 00:10:44.379 --> 00:10:50.399 11 22 23 and 24 it says and Jesus answered said 00:10:50.399 --> 00:10:54.299 unto them have faith in God for truly I say to 00:10:54.299 --> 00:10:57.100 you that whosoever shall say to this mountain 00:10:57.100 --> 00:10:59.700 be thou removed and cast into the sea and will 00:10:59.700 --> 00:11:03.200 not doubt in his heart but believe those things 00:11:03.200 --> 00:11:07.559 which he says shall come to pass he will have 00:11:07.559 --> 00:11:12.250 whatsoever he says Therefore, I say to you, whatever 00:11:12.250 --> 00:11:16.889 you desire when you pray, believe you receive 00:11:16.889 --> 00:11:21.450 it and you will have it. Hallelujah. Verse twenty 00:11:21.450 --> 00:11:24.809 five. These are Jesus's words and he adds 00:11:46.080 --> 00:11:49.620 that little caveat at the end. You have to forgive. 00:11:50.799 --> 00:11:53.759 Unforgiveness blocks our relationship with God. 00:11:53.960 --> 00:11:56.460 It kind of clogs it up. It puts a separation 00:11:56.460 --> 00:12:00.899 because if Jesus chose to forgive us of all our 00:12:00.899 --> 00:12:04.720 sin, no matter what it is, he chose to forgive 00:12:04.720 --> 00:12:08.490 us. but we can't choose to forgive our brother 00:12:08.490 --> 00:12:12.889 or our sister or our friend or our foe, then 00:12:12.889 --> 00:12:14.830 God's not going to forgive us because He gave 00:12:14.830 --> 00:12:17.429 us that free gift. So He expects the same thing 00:12:17.429 --> 00:12:21.740 out of us that He chose to do for us. And in 00:12:21.740 --> 00:12:24.820 it, it will not hinder your prayers. And so sometimes 00:12:24.820 --> 00:12:27.700 you have to ask God, you know, show me if I have 00:12:27.700 --> 00:12:30.580 unforgiveness so I can let it go. Because sometimes 00:12:30.580 --> 00:12:33.419 we press it down under in the depths of our heart. 00:12:33.580 --> 00:12:36.419 We forget about it, but God doesn't. He sees 00:12:36.419 --> 00:12:40.659 our heart. But when you couple. a heart that 00:12:40.659 --> 00:12:44.899 has forgiven others with faith and your action, 00:12:45.320 --> 00:12:48.320 then you will get the result. That's what God's 00:12:48.320 --> 00:12:51.980 word said. Let's read it again. Verse 24, Therefore 00:12:51.980 --> 00:12:55.379 I send you whatsoever things you desire when 00:12:55.379 --> 00:12:59.879 you pray. Believe you receive them and you will 00:12:59.879 --> 00:13:03.580 have them. Hallelujah. Another place in scripture 00:13:03.580 --> 00:13:06.639 says faith without works is dead. It's in James. 00:13:07.039 --> 00:13:09.500 So we have to have some action behind that faith. 00:13:10.480 --> 00:13:15.039 Right. All right. Let's go back to Matthew eight 00:13:15.039 --> 00:13:19.039 again and it continues in verse 14. When Jesus 00:13:19.039 --> 00:13:21.639 was coming to Peter's house, he saw his wife's 00:13:21.639 --> 00:13:24.649 mother. and laid and she was sick with a fever 00:13:24.649 --> 00:13:27.450 he touched her hand and the fever left and she 00:13:27.450 --> 00:13:30.429 arose and ministered unto him and there's another 00:13:30.429 --> 00:13:34.750 gospel that shares the same story and talks about 00:13:34.750 --> 00:13:37.470 how the people asked Jesus you know believed 00:13:37.470 --> 00:13:41.389 him that he would pray for her and so when evening 00:13:41.389 --> 00:13:44.029 was come verse 16 they brought unto him many 00:13:44.029 --> 00:13:47.620 that were possessed with devils and he casts 00:13:47.620 --> 00:13:53.139 the spirits out with his word again the word 00:13:53.139 --> 00:13:56.039 your spoken word what comes out of our mouth 00:13:56.039 --> 00:14:00.720 is vitally important and seeds our future and 00:14:00.720 --> 00:14:04.639 so in this case the demon spirits have to obey 00:14:04.639 --> 00:14:08.690 that name so we can cast out demons that Jesus 00:14:08.690 --> 00:14:13.610 gave his disciples that power in Mark 16 and 00:14:13.610 --> 00:14:16.169 you can cast out demons. If you are a disciple 00:14:16.169 --> 00:14:18.669 of Christ and the power of God lives within you, 00:14:18.830 --> 00:14:22.309 you can do it as well. And right here it was 00:14:22.309 --> 00:14:25.730 he cast them out with his word and healed all 00:14:25.730 --> 00:14:30.289 that were sick. Jesus Christ our Savior. 00:15:05.190 --> 00:15:08.509 He didn't just save us from sin. He delivered 00:15:08.509 --> 00:15:11.669 us from every bondage of the enemy sickness, 00:15:11.970 --> 00:15:15.710 disease, depression, oppression, anything. And Luke 17, 6 says, if you have 00:15:31.289 --> 00:15:35.110 faith, the grain of a mustard seed, you can speak 00:15:35.110 --> 00:15:37.470 to the mountain and it be cast into the sea. 00:15:37.830 --> 00:15:41.330 That's one of the tiniest seeds available today. 00:15:41.809 --> 00:15:44.769 And that's our God. I want you to remember how big 00:17:00.149 --> 00:17:04.640 he is. He's the Lord of Lords. He's the King 00:17:04.640 --> 00:17:08.279 of Kings. There is no one greater. There is no 00:17:08.279 --> 00:17:13.680 one above Jesus. No one. He is it. He's Jehovah 00:17:13.680 --> 00:17:16.920 Rafa. That's a name out of the Old Testament, 00:17:16.920 --> 00:17:20.940 but it means the Lord, our healer.
