The Narrow Gateway and the Broad Way (Matthew 7:13-14)

Matthew 7:13-14,
13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow, and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it." Humm.


This is a very important passage, and every word here is the truth. We must look into it now to understand what the Lord is saying. 

Holy Father, thank You so much for helping us to understand Your words as You want us to understand them. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who guides us with Your Truth, Lord. We count on You and rely on You, my God, to help us to understand the hidden meaning of this passage, Lord, what we don't see on the surface. So, thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your teachings and Your inspiration, in Your Holy Name, we pray. Amen.    

Yes. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow, and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. 
So, we are facing here in this life two types of roads: one that leads to Heaven, and another to hell. And the Road to Heaven is very narrow, and the road to hell is very broad.

The Lord is not speaking here about the physical roads that we see in every place. No physical road leads anyone to Heaven or to hell. He is speaking here about the spiritual roads we don't see, yet they are there. 
We don't see the spiritual realm, yet it is there. We don't see demons and satan, yet they roam the earth and are in many places. We don't see Heaven, yet Heaven is real. We don't see the Lord Jesus Christ walking about today, yet He is real, the Kingdom of Light, and sees all of us. And since the Lord God and His Heaven are real, also satan, demons and hell, which is the kingdom of darkness, are real. 
So, it is not only what we see and touch that is real. What we see is physical, and we can touch it. But we cannot see and touch anything unless that physical thing was put here in the physical world by God, the Holy Spiritual Being, when it is good, and by satan, the evil spiritual being, when they are evil, such as the deeds of darkness.

Our inability to see or touch spiritual beings doesn't make them non-existent.

So, why is the highway to hell broad, and its gate wide?
Because it tolerates everything, it is open wide and lets everyone in. 
It is the road of crime, the road of evil, the road that satan rules. 
Demons and satan make the road broader because they want everyone on that road. 
Billions of people on this earth are on the broad road because it tolerates sin, murder, injustice, lies, hatred, unforgiveness, idolatry, false gods, false beliefs, rebellion to the One True God, immorality, self-seeking, selfish desires, prostitution, any kind of evil, everything that opposes God and His righteous ways: that highway to hell road tolerates it, which is why it is broad and its gate is wide. Every sinful thing is permissible there. 
It is very difficult for many people to do what is good, while it is very easy for all people who do not listen to God and His Son, Christ, to do what is evil. 

It is very easy to sin, but not very easy to not sin. 

The highway to hell's gate is open to every sinful person, ruthless people. We are not seeing when the devil is deceiving people. We only begin to notice that somebody is deceived by seeing only the effects the enemy has already caused in them, through their own behaviour. When they began to do it, nobody saw it coming. Sometimes, people don't see coming until they're already sinning; they're already taking the action to sin, because they did not see the time the devil had brought that sin upon themselves. So, we don't what is in the spiritual realm, but they are all active and at work, and that's why they strike many humans and succeed, because many humans refuse to understand this truth, they refuse to accept this fact, and for this, they are being used as prey, as puppets, and they don't even wonder why they are remote controlled that you can just press a button and get them to do whatever it's evil and they will just do it, because they are controlled and they can't even tell. They are on the Broadway to hell, and that road leads to hell. So Broadway to Hell, which is the opposition, which is the opposition, the opposite road to the Gate of righteousness, the Gate of justice, the Gate of obedience to God, which is the Gate to Heaven, and God, the Lord Jesus Himself, is the One at the Door of the Narrow Gate. 

Why Narrow since the Lord is the biggest Being of all? 

Since He's so huge and above all things and is bigger than all, how is it then that the Gateway to life, Himself, is very narrow? Because He is good, and Good cannot tolerate sin. Good cannot welcome sin. Good hates sin. Good shuts His door to sin, to murderers, to unrepentant sinners, arrogant sinners, to those who refuse to let go of their ways, to renounce evil. 
That's why the road is narrow. But Heaven is not narrow. The Lord Jesus said in John 14:2, 
"There are many rooms in My Father's House. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?"

There are many rooms for those who want Heaven, for those who are treading down the Narrow Road. So the Narrow Road is so difficult to go through because God is strict, God is love, God is kind, God is patient, God is righteousness, He is peace, He is joy, He is faithfulness, He is goodness; He is all beautiful things. No evil is found in Him, and no evil can be found in His Heaven, and no evil can be found in the road that leads to Heaven. No evil is found in Christ, which is why He is sinless. So, no one can enter The Gate, the Door, which is Christ, when they are full of sin. That's what God is there, willing to blot everyone's sins away. That's why God so loved the world that He sent His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 
He sent His Son to go through this. So God will forgive everyone who recounces evil and comes to Him, because of what His Son, Jesus, did on the Cross. 
Of course, many want to follow their ways; they want to do the devil's will, they want to embrace the deeds of darkness, and for this, they stay away from the Narrow Road. That's why it is narrow, because it does not tolerate sin. And since billions of people on this earth practice sin, they are outside of the Narrow Gate, far away from the Gate of Heaven. They're all on this road, which is broad, because satan lets them embrace their perversion, their theft, their envy, gossip, rebellion against God, and any evil. 
While God is perfection, and in Matthew 5:48, the Lord says, 
"You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." 
And though it is impossible for humans to be perfect, with the Lord Jesus, He can cure us and cleanse us from unrighteousness to the point that He finds us blameless in His eyes through obedience to Him and His Father. And if we are found blameless in God's eyes, that is enough for Him. 

We, humans, have the ability to sin. We were created good, but because humans disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, that has given all humans the ability to sin. God doesn't have the ability to sin because He is good; He is fully God; He is fully righteous. So, as long as we are blameless, meaning, we're a new creation, we no longer practice sin, we say no to sin, and choose to obey God. And for these reasons, God can find us blameless, meaning, even if wrong things are happening around us, God looks down and says, 
"Okay, although some are sinning around my devoted ones, it is not their fault, they're doing their part by following my instructions. I find them blameless." 

So yes, the Narrow Gate is the good way; Jesus Christ is the Gate. But many people cannot enter Him because of their sins; they must first repent and be forgiven by Him. While billions of people can enter the gate of hell with their sins. Satan and demons are the ones polluting this earth with sin. And many humans, refusing to listen, refusing to accept this truth in order for God to rescue them, live in denial. And for this, demons suck them in, and they are in darkness; many things happen in darkness, everyone is not afraid to do evil in darkness; they have no fear of God.  

And those who have no fear of God are not afraid to lie.

For this, many lies happen in darkness, many deeds of darkness, many evil rituals, murder, sexual immorality happening there, even the abuse of children, abuse of wives, and wife beaters, all those things and more are tolerated by demons because those sins are what nourish demons and satan. So every human who is practising sin is indeed feeding satan and demons because their bodies have become a place where demons live. So when they're craving to do those things which are evil, it is demons from within them turning them that way. So, it's the desire of demons from within them. If someone is murdering, it is indeed demons murdering that person from within this human. That human, who is murdering, if they were in their right state of mind, they would not do it. This does not mean that they're not guilty, no. Some love it. Demons are controlling them, causing them to do this. They would not succeed if those humans did not listen to them. Demons have lied to them for many years, causing them to love what is evil and hate what is good. 
The practice of sin can replace God's beautiful image in us. 

Please remember this: obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ is the condition to enter the Kingdom of God. Disobedience to the Lord Jesus Christ means obedience to satan, knowingly or unknowingly. 

God, the Father, said, "I give You my Son, listen to Him. He is the Door to Heaven; He is the Gate to Heaven. Listen to Him." 
But many may not listen to Christ but claim that they believe in God, the Father. But by not believing in the Son and by not listening to the Son, they are actually disobeying God, the Father. And, disobeying God, the Father, means disobeying His Son. Disobeying His Son means disobeying God, the Father. And disobeying God, disobeying the Lord Jesus, means obeying satan, knowingly or unknowingly, and that is the fact. Let's not live in denial. Let's hear the truth. 

So when the Lord, who loves us all, is teaching us His words and explaining His words to us for us to understand in order to help others, this is so that those who are listening can now make the right decisions to leave the darkness. Why live in oblivion, why refuse to listen? Why live in denial only for that truth you're so much avoiding to face you sooner or later? 

The Lord Jesus Christ is Life, and only through Life can we find life. 

The Gateway to life is very narrow and difficult, yes, and only a few ever find it, yes. 
Many know that it is the Good Road, the Road to Eternal Life, yet they also see all the sufferings that they will go through. Many see that by really devoting themselves to remaining on the Narrow Road, they will let go of many things that are from the broad road, and many don't want to let go of those things, so they return to that broad road because it is where they sin, embrace their own ways, and live for themselves, and more. 
But those who go down the Narrow Way and keep it up and suffer, yes, and take whatever comes at them, because they understand the meaning of it, they understand that at the end of it, it will be Eternal Life, beautiful forever, free from sin, free from darkness, free from demons and satan, free from every single thing that hurts, but most of all, to be with the Father, with God, our Creator, the One who gave us life, and the One who saved us on the Cross. What can be more rewarding than this? So yes, we want to be on this Road, the Narrow Road, we want to walk down that road because it is far more rewarding, it is far more worthy to be with God in Heaven when He comes again. 
Even as we are now in this world, treading down this Narrow road, it is not easy, but God is with us; when things are hard, He carries them for us; when they are too much, He takes them from our hands just to give us a rest. Then, we continue the journey with the Lord Jesus by our side until we get there, with Him leading us there, because He is the Gate. When we walk through Him, and we are in Him, He's the One carrying us forward. So, this is the truth. Embrace it, and you will never regret it.     

The Gateway to life is very narrow and difficult, yes, but those who are determined enough will find it. Those who listen, those who hear this and believe that it is the truth, will find it. Because the minute people begin to reject the lies they have believed for many years, that is their beginning of defeating satan and demons, who have polluted their minds with such lies. The Lord Jesus is waiting for those who begin to realise that they're living in darkness. It takes Him nothing to rescue people from darkness. But many want to be in there; that is why He leaves them there. 
Those who want to leave darkness should always know that, even if they have been in that darkness for many years, God will get them out of it the minute He sees that they truly want out of it. It is never too late while you're still alive, but once death comes, and if you have already given your soul to the devil, then that is too late now, because you have already pledged your allegiance to satan. But if you're conscious that you have done something wrong with your life, it is not too late to go back to God, because, if you have a conscience at all, telling you this, that conscience in you, still, is the proof that the Lord God is still reaching out to you wanting to save you. 
Those who are purely evil have no conscience at all. If you still have a conscience, know that that is a sign for you to respond to the Lord Jesus Christ, turn to Him, and let Him save you. You can always go back to God, and you will never regret it if you make such a decision. 

Know that God loves you. I really pray that you will know how much the Lord Jesus loves you, because if you have not really let Him in, you would not have tasted His love, you would not have felt His love. I pray that you will do it. I pray that you will listen to this. Of course, that is my prayer for you, but the decision is always yours. I pray that you will choose wisely. 

Holy Father, thank You so much, God, for helping all those who want to be on the Narrow Road, but things are so difficult for them. Thank You that You are there to rescue those who want out of darkness. Thank You that You are there to take our hand down that Narrow Road when we want You, when we want Your Heaven, when we crave for Your Heaven, and when we're thirsty for You and Your Heaven, when we want You as our Lord and Saviour, as our only Saviour, for You are the only Saviour, who saves us spiritually. 
Lord, I thank You so much for helping me to understand this teaching, for helping us. Thank You for this inspiration, Lord. 
Lord, I just pray for those who will listen, and those who don't know what they're doing, my Lord. There's hope for them, and You are that Hope, Lord, and I pray that they will find You. Yes, it is scary when you say, "The Gateway to Life is very narrow, and the Road is difficult, and only a few ever find it." It is scary to see that out of billions of people on this earth, only a few will find it, Lord. I just pray that people will wake up, Lord, and see what You're showing them and hear what You're telling them now. Thank You, Lord God, for Your miracles, for Your wonders, Lord. Thank You for Your righteousness and Your patience for everyone, thank You for bringing many to repentance, Lord, as You always do.  
Thank You for opening the eyes of the blind for them to see, so that they can come to You and You can heal them from their unrighteousness, from their sinful ways, and rescue their souls. 
So, thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer, in Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen.
