My God, We’re Blessed You Are Not A Human!
A Prayer by Elise Beatrice


“O Lord, our Lord, Your majestic Name fills the earth. Your glory is higher than the heavens. You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you. When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars set in place, what are mere mortals that you should think about them? Human beings that you should care for them. That you made them only a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made. Putting all things under their authority. The flocks and herds and all the wild animals. The birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims, the ocean currents. O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth” (Psalms 8:1-9).

Amen. 



This is beautiful. Lord, I thank You for King David, whom You used to give this beautiful thing to us. Yes, Lord God, we are here as Your creation. You put us down here, but You spend Your time in heaven. You could just stay in Your beautiful heaven and not really care about what goes down here. But yet, You look down here, and You feel for us. You look down here, and You weep for us. You look down here, and You want to reach out to rescue us from darkness. You have created us, and You are so huge. Your beautiful heaven brings You no stress. It does not ache Your being, but down here, the sin of this earth aches You. It burdens You. It grieves You. But yet, You send Your Holy Spirit to be with us on this earth, knowing that wherever we go, whatever environment we go to, He’s going to be grieved by those sins we see. For yet, You do that. You do that. You do things like that, wondrous things like that. And that is just so amazing of You, Lord God, just so great of You. Loving and compassionate, Lord God, Your grace and mercy, my Lord God. We should look up to You and follow Your examples. Because if You had been a human being, You would have already given up on us all. 
Any human will say, ‘What do I care? Why do I have to take all that grief they throw upon me? Why do I have to keep on coming after them when they’re continuously opposing me? Why do I have to reach out to rescue them when they are the ones deciding to find themselves in the darkness? When they want to rebel against me?’ Any human will sound like that, Lord. In fact, we hear each other here all the time, saying to one another, ‘What do I care? It’s not my business. It’s not my problem. We can go to hell for what I care. They can do what they want. Who cares?’ 
Lord, if You were thinking like a human being, You would have already abandoned us all for the things people do down here. For the things we have all done in our lives, whether in ignorance, whether in oblivion, whether aware; the atrocious things against You, yet You still reach out to want to be with us. You still reach out to want to rescue us. You still reach out to want to forgive us. But would we listen? Would they listen? That is the question. 
I pray they will see. I pray many will see and see how great You are. And see how faithful You are. And see how You always keep Your promises. I really pray many will see and come to You while they still can and seek to know You, while they still can, for if they miss that opportunity, if they miss to see Your hand that You are reaching out to grab them, if they miss that moment where You are so willing to forgive them. If they refuse to listen and remain where they are, that could just be the last time or last opportunity for someone. And I pray that no one is going to miss that opportunity that You are showing them to embrace what You give, to grab Your hands, to listen to You, to let You save them, to welcome what You’ve given them on the cross. 
Yes, Lord, You could remain in Your beautiful heaven, You could sit in Your beautiful heaven, in Your mighty throne, and not care about what happens down here. But that will not make You God. That will make You just like Satan. That will make You someone who doesn’t care, but You can’t do that; You just can’t do it because You are good, You are righteous. And You do all those beautiful things because You love us for the sake of Your glorious name so that no one will ever say, ‘I am in this darkness because of God. I am drowning in my sin because of God. I am finding myself here in hell because of God.’ 
No one will be able to say that because that is not true. No one will really think that they are suffering because of You. They are suffering because no one listens to You. Because many have obeyed Satan and let him use them to damage, to inflict pain on many. This world has become what it has become because they rebelled against You, because many have not listened to what You said, and that is the truth. 
Yes, You could be in Your beautiful heaven and forget about us all, but we are blessed that You are not a human. We are blessed that You are God. We are blessed that You are good. You are so forgiving, Lord. You are so Mighty. You are so gracious and merciful. We are blessed by God to have You, to know You, to know that You are there, and I pray in Your glorious Name that many will wake up and see Your Hand, Your Mighty Hand that is reaching to grab them, to hold them and to love them, to forgive them. In Your glorious Name, I pray, glorious Father; in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our only Savior. So, I thank You, for You so much loved the world that You gave Your One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. I pray in Your glorious Name, Lord Jesus, that many will hear and accept that salvation, that eternal salvation You’re giving them; that they will welcome what You’ve given them on that cross. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Lord Jesus, I love You, and I thank You for everyone You are willing to save, those who are ready to be saved. Those who want to be saved. I thank You for saving them. 
In Your Mighty Name, Lord Jesus, I pray.
