For we know that if the earthly tent we live 00:00:16.539 --> 00:00:20.179 in is destroyed, we have a building from God, 00:00:20.239 --> 00:00:22.719 an eternal house in heaven, not built by human 00:00:22.719 --> 00:00:25.500 hands. And kind of what we've said along the 00:00:25.500 --> 00:00:30.219 way with this is that Your body, your life is 00:00:30.219 --> 00:00:33.700 like a tent is what Paul compares it to. That 00:00:33.700 --> 00:00:36.520 there will be a point when you lay down the tent, 00:00:36.640 --> 00:00:40.439 you lay down the physical body. And he's saying 00:00:40.439 --> 00:00:42.960 that when that happens, when you take your last 00:00:42.960 --> 00:00:46.679 breath here, what you can expect is there is 00:00:46.679 --> 00:00:49.719 an upgrade waiting for you. Right, that we have the Holy Spirit 00:01:44.140 --> 00:01:46.359 as a deposit, a guarantee that death has been 00:01:46.359 --> 00:01:49.579 swallowed up by life. Therefore, we are always 00:01:49.579 --> 00:01:51.299 confident and know that as long as we are at 00:01:51.299 --> 00:01:53.540 home in the body, we are away from the Lord. 00:01:53.959 --> 00:01:58.599 For we live by faith, not by sight. He talks specifically 00:03:07.340 --> 00:03:10.400 about this idea that we will all, we will all 00:03:10.400 --> 00:03:14.340 stay in judgment as believers. It matters. So what he's 00:06:30.769 --> 00:06:32.689 getting at is in this life, you can build with 00:06:32.689 --> 00:06:35.649 things that last. You can build with things that 00:06:35.649 --> 00:06:39.269 are eternal.
