is sleeping while the flock’s bleating?
Whom angels praise with anthems sweet,
While shepherds rejoice His appearing?


He’s Christ the Lord and Savior
Whom shepherds await, and angels sing:

Mary’s Babe, the Son of the Highest!

They turned him away,
while his mom travailed
In act of mercy the innkeeper led them
to a barn full of sheep and cattle!

Mary’s Babe, the Son of the Highest!

of gold, myrrh, and frankincense
These are evidences
of their faith in Him ;
As the promised Messiah from heaven.
