I think my mission in life is just to teach everybody how easy it is to connect with angels and is easy. You don't need any skills.
 
 
Welcome back to Tech Talks and Soul Walks with myself, Julie Kubiak. So today it's the first Soul Walks episode and I'm here to introduce to you Sophie Rose.
And before I just introduce you to her, there's a few things that she said to me when I've had private readings with her. And the biggest one was that she foresaw me coming back to the UK. But, she said I won't be selling my home. So that's interesting. 
I think I've known Sophie definitely around about 2017. That's the reading that I've still got recorded and probably know you from even further back, Sophie. Would you say that's true, if you remember?
Your memory is a lot better than mine, so we'll go with whatever you, say. know how bad my memory is.
Yeah, but in all fairness, that's partly your Fibro though, isn't it?
Yeah. Yeah. And, um, but
also a plus point when you do readings.
Yeah, that's true. Yeah. I've done a lot of training over the years with Sophie and we have kept in touch on and off. Chunks of time where we've gone off and done our own thing and, we've kind of always been drawn back towards each other as, friends, online and, yeah, I've never actually met you, have I?
Do you really exist? Are you actually?
Do you know what? I think this is the year we should actually meet up for a drink. 
Yeah, if I recognize you.
But, um, yeah, no, you've been a massive support over the last 18 months, especially. So I do appreciate that.
Yeah, I do think we should celebrate this year and, meet up. Yeah, so Sophie then, if you just want to introduce yourself to the viewers and the listeners and tell them a bit about your background, as to what you do from like a spiritual kind of point of view.
Well, I work with Angels. Um,I actually trained to be a maths and IT teacher. And then, when I was in my last year at, Uni and I was actually in school placements, I lost my memory. So I had to drop out, and then I needed a career. where having a bad memory was actually a good thing. And so I kind of fell into doing readings really by accident.
And, if I'm honest, it started when I was in pubs in the evening and I'd have a few drinks and I would just relax and I started giving random strangers readings. And, it turned out that I was really good at it. 
I don't recommend doing it that way, but it worked for me.
Did you know that you could do that then before your pub escapades?
No.
Okay, interesting.
You know, I've always seen angels, always and to me it was normal and I thought everybody's best friends were angels and when I was, I remember I was about sort of 12, 13 and at night I used to leavemy body and I would go down the park and the beach with my angels. And again, I never told anyone because I thought that's what everybody did.
I thought that's what, you know, going to sleep meant. You just left your body and it was only actually, I think, about 10 years ago that I realised no actually, no, that doesn't happen to everybody! but 
I love it. AndI couldn't ever not be connected to my angels and, there's been times when I felt... when I've struggled and I've not felt them close, and it's just had such a negative impact on me. 
I think my mission in life is just to teach everybody how easy it is to connect with angels and it is easy. You don't need any skills.
We obviously connected online somehow or somewhere. I can't remember if it was through Facebook or with YouTube because I know you used to be on YouTube and I did quite a few of your, well, loads of your angel training courses. is that something you still do now then? 
It's 
something that I'm going 
to get back. in to to get back
I need to bring my course up to date a little bit. You know, technology has changed.But yeah, that's something that I'm going to be doing going forward. I can't wait. I'm really excited. 
 I do think that there's not enough out there these days, for people to learn anything like this. although it's becoming more, I can't think what the word is, more acceptable, although acceptable really isn't a word I like with associating with Spiritualism and, you know, angelic realm,
things like that. But it's becoming the more norm, people wanting to find out information. So that would be good. I mean, even if I was to, nudge you along a bit and say, come on, get this, get these courses refreshed and get them out there,that would be good. So just as an aside, if anyone's interested, we're going to obviously talk a bit about angels today.
but there's a hell of a lot of information out there if that's what you're interested in. So we'll put the links below and just keep following, me and when Sophie's got everything ready, then we'll pass the information on. Sophie then, Angels. What was the earliest recollection of you seeing them?
Earliest, angel that I can remember seeing was, I think I was about 8, 9, and I was in church in the evening, and, just nodding off, as you do during the sermon. And, there was this beautiful angel in the window. And now behind the window, there was no street lights, it was, it was the church hall, and it was shut down, it was closed, there was no lights shining on or anything.
And it was more the traditional angel that you draw when you're at school.
 You haven't seen my drawings though!
No, but, throughout the years, the way that I have seen angels has changed as I've grown and I've changed. And the one thing with angels is they will show themselves to you in whatever form makes you comfortable. 
 Okay, so let's just pause that just there a minute because I've recently seen on Facebook, I don't know where I saw it, but I was then drawn to research it on YouTube, the Seraphim. Have you heard of the Seraphim at all?
I have heard
 I believe what they are, are different types of angels, and don't quote me on this, I know I'm putting it out on my podcast. The one I remember in my mind's eye, is a massive eyeball, with lots of little eyeballs around it, and these basically loads of angel wings coming off it, and I think the reason it is always said in the Bible, when the angels appear to people, "Do not be afraid...", it's because they look similar to that, or that is what they look like.
I know there's different styles of them, that's just one that I'm describing, and whether or not that's the Seraphim named one, I don't know, I take it you're not talking about those kind of angels, then you're talking human-esque style with wings,
like on a Christmas card.
No. Most of the time when I've seen angels, they're almost like, how can I describe, it's almost like bits of blue silk blowing in the wind.
So you're seeing the energy then,
maybe?
The thing is, I think different people have different gifts and they see things differently. And
my strongest is I'm Clairsentient and I'm Clairaudient 
Do want you want to just explain those two in case anybody isn't aware of what they are
So Clairsentient is you just sense things will feel things and Clairaudient is hearing and bizarrely enough I'm completly deaf in my right ear. 
I have one ear that I hear you from and the other ear that I tend to hear my angels. 
Interesting.
And I always, so humans are always on this side of me. And then angels always tend to be on this side of me.
 Carry on explaining them, if you see then your angel, that appears there, with it being sort of like a blue piece of silk. Would you say it is still an outline of an angel or is it, that's the visual that you see, it's like some kind of energy rather than an outline?
When I do my meditations and I go back to the angelic realm, there, the way I tend to see them, there's no hard edges. 
 And it is, I think, the way that you would traditionally see a ghost, and it's like somebody's gone along and smudged the edges.
huh.
 So, throughout my life, when there have been major changes happening in my life, I've had angels appear to me. And in those moments, I've seen the more traditional angels. And I've seen Archangel Michael as you would see the traditional photos of him. Not something that I'm comfortable with... Just the other sort of, the more energy side of it just seems more normal to me. It's very difficult to explain. I don't see, when I see my angels, I don't see a face and it's an energy. I don't do names. And people will ask me, my guardian angel's names. I haven't got a clue. Never asked them! 
So when you see them then, is it a size thing? Are they large, small? Or is it you... you more sense that that is who they are or what they are?
You know, it's not something I've ever thought about. But I don't know whether it's how they've shown themselves to me. But they always seem to be that much, just a little bit bigger than me. So, as I've grown, they've grown and I don't know whether that is just because if I saw them in, maybe in their full size, that it would scare me.
Possibly.
And do you see or sense, apart from obviously the blue, does each different one have a different colour or are they all just the same?
I'd tend, I tend not to see them in colour, but I tend to see things in black and white.I'm still working on my Clairvoyance, which is seeing. They were definitely, I would say, the more pastel colours is what I see. But I don't know whether that, again, is just something that I'm comfortable with. Because I'm very much aware that different people see different things.
 They want us to be comfortable, and they don't want to intimidate us, they don't want to frighten us.
So then if you don't see them as, an actual angel, and let's say you just know that they're there, how would you interpret it as an angel rather than a spirit guide? Or how would you know in your own world, what the difference is, if that makes sense? 
 When I see spirit, I tend to see them as people. And certainly if I see my spirit guides, I can tell you what my spirit guides look like.And my spirit guides have given me their names, I can't remember them. I'm absolutely terrible with names anyway. But I can describe them and I know how they look. And the same is if I do mediumship, which is not something I do very often, I can describe them and I, because, you know, I will see them as people. It's just the angelic realms that tends to be more of an energy.
With the Angelic Realm, the reason I was drawn to learning about them, and like I say, I, even I can't remember how we met, but I'm pretty certain it would have been some kind of video or, Facebook group, something like that. But it was because it's a softer approach into connecting with something, and rather than trying to connect with spirits and doing mediumship, I was drawn, obviously, to the softer side, you know, connecting with the angels, because it is easier.
So you said at the beginning then, that it is easy for anyone to do this. How easy is it? Obviously, I know but you know somebody listening if you know, they you, know, is it really that easy?
Yeah, do you know what? If you have never worked with angels, just say hi. That is, that's it. And without thinking, that first response is from them, and as soon as you engage your brain, then you start taking over. But it's that instant thought, and in my experiences, your response from your angels will be unique to you because they will talk to you in the way that you understand. They will have your sense, they will have your sense of humor.
They'll use your vocabulary. Ask for a sign and, you know, if you're not sure, just say, look, show me a sign angels that you're there. And you will get that within 24 hours. And if you don't, or if you're not sure, say, look, I'm not sure. Can you send me another one?
You don't need to light a certain candle or, you know, you can do those things. You can have an angel altar, you can do all of those things, if it makes you happy.
So they don't have to ground and protect or do anything else that other people would do if they were connecting with spirits, let's say, and doing Mediumship?
I always, always grant and protect if I'm working with spirit, always.
I have never grounded and protected when I've been working with my angels. 
So typically then, you could talk to your angels at any time of the day or night, just as though they were a friend in the room, let's say. 
Yeah. I've always spoke to them. And it's, you know, the earliest memory that I have of talking to them is when I was 4. And that's my first ever memory. And that was just, just sat talking to them and just the same as we're talking. And I think, think a lot of people that say that they have imaginary friends as children are probably just talking to their angels. 
And, you know, we will all have, we've all got our own guardian angels, andthey will always interfere if it's life or death, and if it's not your time, and something happens, they will interfere. But apart from that, they won't interfere in your life unless you give them permission. They will always honor your own free will. 
So it's a case of speaking up if you want them to hear you then.
If you're struggling to connect with your angels, I will always help anyone that's in that position. And, for me, it's not about money. It's not about getting my name out there. It's just, I want to help as many people as I can to connect with our angels. You've seen yourself and, the difference that they make in my life and how, you know, I've gone through such a difficult 18 months. And I don't think that I would have got through it on my own. 
 I think like some people do have, the church as something or somewhere that they can go to you know, religion, let's say, as their point of call if they're feeling, you know, in distress or having hard times. But I do know with yourself, it's angels and you don't need to go anywhere to be speaking to your angels,
and they're just there 24 / 7, aren't they. Thank God. You can't actually hear them and see them because I think I would freak out if they were constantly chattering in the background.
 My favorite place for talking to the angels is normally when I'm washing up or I'm sat on the loo, it's you know, you're not doing your, your minds, you know, is free. And, Yeah, I, I've kind of had my best conversations with angels in the bathroom.
So if you're in the shower then and you're, sort of cleansing your energy. Spiritual people on here will understand what I'm talking about. Sometimes it's the best place to ground, protect, clear, cleanse and everything. do you normally find that you can connect with them then? Is that a good time as well?
Oh, it's a brilliant time. I know that I've had a couple of messages for you when I've been in the shower. I've come out and it's like, Oh!, And it's this whole thing, it's like with meditation. I always thought that meditation, you have to sit cross legged and kind of do this with your fingers or whatever it is you're meant to do. I can't do that. I can't sit with my eyes closed for longer 5, 10 minutes.
I just, I can't, I can't do it. And I do a lot of walking meditation. Things don't have to, they're not difficult. And I think there are people out there that like to make it seem difficult. But it's not. We're talking about sort of connecting with the angelic realm, not mediumship and spirit work. And I think they are, in my mind, they're two very different things.They are totally different things
And working with angels, anyone can do it, absolutely anyone. And,
I'm always up for a challenge. I will prove to anyone that they can connect with angels.
I'm going to be doing a lot more work going forward on teaching other people, you know,teaching again. I really want to get into that side of things.
 
Now, to me, connecting with angels is very similar... I'm sure I'll have some backlash on this... but very similar to sort of manifesting and Law of Attraction. And the reason I say that is because if it is that you want something, let's say you want some help, you want some assistance, or you want a sign, let's say, then, If you ask your angels, and you're in that receiving mode, then you will get that sign, that answer.
So very similar to manifesting a message, or you've attracted that message. Would you agree on that, that all this energy is almost of the same realm?
A hundred percent. And, I've manifested a whole life, a whole new life, and my beautiful flat that I'm in, I asked my angels for. And it was just, look, I need somewhere to live, I want somewhere where I'm overlooking a garden, I want trees... and I got everything on my list. Manifesting is, I don't know. I think it's easy. It is easy. The trick with manifesting is you just need to ask and you need to believe that you'll get it. that takes time. It takes time to kind of build up that trust And again, anyone that wants to start manifesting, start small.
Work with your angels, they want to prove to you that they're there, they want that relationship as much as you do. Ask for something small. Ask for a parking space. Ask to get through to somebody on the phone. Ask for a doctor's appointment. Anything that you need that will make your life easier.
I've asked for all sorts of things. I think the most bizarre is probably, a really comfy bra. I've asked shoes. I've asked for a boyfriend. The only thing, be careful what you ask for or how you ask things. You do need to keep things positive. You know, if you say I'm going to have a bad day, the Universe will hear that and your angels will hear it and it's like, okay, Sophie wants a bad day, we can give her that! And, you know, try it. Just keep your thoughts positive. Even if you don't believe it, just keep it positive. 
Fake it until you, make it!
Yeah, that's a good way of looking at it really. And I do think this is why the sort of connecting with angels is very similar to, like I said, Law of Attraction and manifesting, because it's that positivity, isn't it. And, if you've got a positive outlook, things will be positive around you and that makes it easier then for manifesting or attracting what it is that you want.
And, to me, I don't think the angels can be, negative. I don't think there is any negativity sort of outside of this world, let's say.But apart from, attracting, asking for the place that you're in at the minute, have there been any other times where they've actually delivered you something or, you know, gone above and beyond more than you would have expected, just by saying something simple and they've given you more?
 I've got four sons, and grandsons, and in my heart, I've always wanted a daughter, and I've always wanted a granddaughter. It's not something that I ever asked for because I just didn't think it was going to happen. It's always been kind of there and it would be like, Oh, do you know what? It'd be really nice if I could have this. And they've taken that, and now I have my beautiful daughter, and she's my Niece.
And they brought the two of us together when we both were at a low point and we both needed each other. 
And I think the only thing that you kind of need to remember is it's a two way thing. And they will give you all that you want. But they will also ask you to give of yourself. And my daughter and I are really close. We've got really close bond. She's got a beautiful daughter.That relationship only come about because of the hard work we both put into that. Does that make sense?
Yeah. Yeah.If it wasn't anything that you'd actually asked for explicitly, then they've shown that it's almost like a payoff, isn't it? You've kind of done the work, you've asked for it, but not directly asked for it. It would be something that you would have liked, or loved, I should say,
and they've actually delivered. But, it's down to, as I say, "divine f ing timing". Because maybe that would have been nice to have had in your earlier years, but it's that friendship and that bond that you needed now rather than back, years ago. In order to give you what you want, they have to break things in order to give you something better. And that can be really hard to deal with. Angels have always got your back, you just have to talk to them. And the more you talk to them, the easier it will get. And it's just those moments when you're quiet, and your mind is quiet. They're the times that they will start talking to you. And, it can be just a feeling. It can be as simple as that. And it's not you, It will be your angels talking to you. And if you're ever unsure and just say, Look, I'm not sure. Is that you? Look, send me, send me a sign that will help.
Just to clarify then, if anybody's wondering this, do you have to actually call them in or do you just start talking to them?
Just start talking to them. Just say, hi. It is as simple as that. Maybe just go in the shower and just have a good whinge, just get stuff off your chest. They are great. You know, I have sworn at my angels. I shouted at them. I've cried at them. They have had the full temper tantrums many a time. And they're great. They're not going to be offended.
Just be real, just be natural, and just talk to them, ask them a question, ask them for an answer.
 You know, what have you got to lose? Just ask your angels to say hi, ask them to send you a sign. And, you know, I can say, well, these are typical signs, but your angels will send a sign that means something to you and is unique to you. Yes, they can send feathers and rainbows and coins and all those things, but it can be something you hear on the telly or the radio or something that somebody randomly tells you.
There are so many different ways that they will talk to you.
It's funny you should say that because all my signs, when I first started, doing the work with yourself many, many years ago. All my signs were through songs, song lyrics, songs on the radio, things like that. And when I lived in France what used to happen quite a bit was there'd be a song on the radio, I'd be mentally singing it in my head and all of a sudden it would cut.
And the radio signal would drop, even though it's like internet, radio, and then it would come back up again. And I would have to think about the lyrics that it had just missed, and it would sometimes be those missed lyrics that the radio signal kind of dropped, that I had to fill in and that was the signal. Or I'd wake up one morning and I'd be hearing a particular song and that song would go over and over. And I would have to sit down sometimes maybe just Google it and find out what the lyrics are, because not everyone knows every lyric to every song, and there'd be something in there that would be significant at that point in time. So yeah, It's interesting that they don't necessarily audibly speak to you in your ear.
It will be some kind of sign, symbol or synchronicity, wouldn't 
I remember the best call for help that I ever gave the angels
was when I was waiting to go in to a big maths exam at Uni And I was stood in the queue waiting to go in to the hall 
It was like, right, okay, I need every single Archangel, and angel that can help me in any way whatsoever. You haven't got to be good at maths.
If you're good at holding a pen or make my hand steady, anything, if you can help in any way whatsoever, come in there with me. And, yeah, and I did, I passed and I'm not very good in exams because my memory's never been particularly wonderful, but I passed.
