A lot of people, though, 00:04:55.620 --> 00:04:59.560 when you talk about the blood, you talk about 00:04:59.560 --> 00:05:01.819 what the blood accomplished, what the blood provided. 00:05:02.949 --> 00:05:05.629 A lot of times our minds go to this verse, Hebrews 00:05:05.629 --> 00:05:09.370 9 .22. And it says this, Without the shedding 00:05:09.370 --> 00:05:13.350 of blood, there is no forgiveness of sin. Everybody 00:05:13.350 --> 00:05:16.850 say forgiveness. Forgiveness. But as we've learned 00:05:16.850 --> 00:05:19.689 through this series, the blood accomplishes so 00:05:19.689 --> 00:05:22.290 much more than just forgiveness for the believer. 00:05:22.970 --> 00:05:26.269 But the blood of Jesus makes forgiveness possible, 00:05:26.550 --> 00:05:29.529 right? And then what did he do? He transferred 00:06:08.110 --> 00:06:16.050 us into the kingdom of his dear son. So 00:06:33.399 --> 00:06:38.740 the blood of Christ not only forgives us, it's 00:06:38.740 --> 00:06:43.759 the purchase. The blood purchased us. Amen. So 00:06:43.759 --> 00:06:46.399 the blood of Jesus paid the price of our redemption. 00:06:46.779 --> 00:06:50.680 He bought us and brought us out of the kingdom 00:06:50.680 --> 00:06:54.100 of darkness. Why do we hold people captive to the sins 00:09:16.580 --> 00:09:22.720 that they've committed against us? God has forgiven 00:09:22.720 --> 00:09:27.100 them. We must forgive them. And then we looked at Hebrews 00:09:34.820 --> 00:09:38.039 10, 19. It says this, And so, dear brothers and 00:09:38.039 --> 00:09:40.840 sisters, we can boldly. Everybody say, we can. 00:09:41.419 --> 00:09:45.519 We can with boldness. We can boldly enter heaven's 00:09:45.519 --> 00:09:49.360 most holy place because of the blood of Jesus. 00:09:50.879 --> 00:09:54.019 We can boldly enter heaven's most holy place. 00:09:54.220 --> 00:09:58.440 Why? So we can enter 00:10:35.149 --> 00:10:37.570 heaven's most holy place because we share blood 00:10:37.570 --> 00:10:42.029 -bought DNA with Jesus. Amen? Amen. The blood 00:10:42.029 --> 00:10:45.769 of Jesus grants us bold access to God. And then 00:10:45.769 --> 00:10:49.850 in Hebrews 12, 24 says this, To Jesus, the mediator 00:10:49.850 --> 00:10:52.769 of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling 00:10:52.769 --> 00:10:56.129 that speaks better things. Everybody say, speaks. 00:10:56.879 --> 00:10:58.960 The blood of Jesus speaks. We looked at that 00:10:58.960 --> 00:11:01.600 last week. And it speaks better things than that 00:11:01.600 --> 00:11:06.860 of Abel. I'm not going to re -preach all this 00:11:06.860 --> 00:11:09.740 series, so we've got to keep moving forward this 00:11:09.740 --> 00:11:12.039 morning. But it's important to realize that the 00:11:12.039 --> 00:11:13.980 blood of Jesus, it not only makes forgiveness 00:11:13.980 --> 00:11:16.960 possible, not only perches us out of the kingdom 00:11:16.960 --> 00:11:20.059 of darkness, it not only cleanses our conscience 00:11:20.059 --> 00:11:23.659 from the effects of sin, It grants us bold access 00:11:23.659 --> 00:11:27.720 to God, and it speaks better things over our 00:11:27.720 --> 00:11:32.059 lives. It's not speaking vengeance. It's not 00:11:32.059 --> 00:11:35.179 speaking condemnation. That's not what Jesus 00:11:35.179 --> 00:11:38.039 does. Some people view God as this holy dictator 00:11:38.039 --> 00:11:40.879 with a sledgehammer, just ready to beat you over 00:11:40.879 --> 00:11:43.480 the head every time you sin, every time you step 00:11:43.480 --> 00:11:48.039 out of line, but that's not who God is. The blood 00:11:48.039 --> 00:11:51.440 speaks better things over our lives. And today, 00:11:51.539 --> 00:11:55.000 we're looking at how the blood of Christ secures 00:11:55.000 --> 00:11:58.980 our victory in him. Secures our victory. Everybody 00:11:58.980 --> 00:12:04.919 say victory. Victory. When we talk about victory 00:12:04.919 --> 00:12:11.399 in accordance with the blood, Jesus' blood wins 00:12:11.399 --> 00:12:16.370 an eternal victory. What do I mean by that? Hebrews 00:12:16.370 --> 00:12:19.149 9 .12, if we back up, it says, With his own blood 00:12:19.149 --> 00:12:22.330 he entered the most holy place. So think about 00:12:22.330 --> 00:12:24.610 that. The blood of Christ is in heaven. It's 00:12:24.610 --> 00:12:26.889 not like it was just a past thing. It's a present 00:12:26.889 --> 00:12:34.210 thing. And he says this once for all time and 00:12:34.210 --> 00:12:38.779 secured our redemption forever. It was a once 00:12:38.779 --> 00:12:41.080 and for all time thing. Every time we sin, Christ 00:12:41.080 --> 00:12:43.580 is not dying on the cross, shedding his blood 00:12:43.580 --> 00:12:47.259 again and again and again. It's once and for 00:12:47.259 --> 00:12:52.159 all time. He accomplished victory once and for 00:12:52.159 --> 00:12:55.039 all time. On the cross, he said, it is finished. 00:12:57.220 --> 00:13:00.820 What do you mean by that? After he created the 00:13:00.820 --> 00:13:02.500 world, he sat down and he said, I'm going to 00:13:02.500 --> 00:13:06.230 rest. So there's nothing else that needs to be 00:13:06.230 --> 00:13:08.590 created in order for him to provide for you. 00:13:11.830 --> 00:13:14.990 And on the cross, he said it is finished because 00:13:14.990 --> 00:13:18.590 he completed every work that he has for you in 00:13:18.590 --> 00:13:25.870 him. So God's victory 00:13:36.139 --> 00:13:42.039 is not just a heavenly future reality. It's not 00:13:42.039 --> 00:13:46.980 just in the sweet by and by.
