And so we see in Judges chapter 5 verse 00:06:51.459 --> 00:06:55.790 10 what the judge would ride on. It says, Tell 00:06:55.790 --> 00:06:59.810 of it, you who ride on white donkeys, who sit 00:06:59.810 --> 00:07:04.529 on rich carpets, you who walk by the way, talking 00:07:04.529 --> 00:07:08.029 about the judge. The judge would ride a white 00:07:08.029 --> 00:07:11.209 donkey because horses were few and in between 00:07:11.209 --> 00:07:17.029 in those days. A donkey is how the leader would 00:07:17.029 --> 00:07:20.709 ride in. And in most cases, especially before 00:07:20.709 --> 00:07:24.250 the times of kings, when a judge would ride in 00:07:24.250 --> 00:07:29.660 too, a tribe, or into the nation, they knew that 00:07:29.660 --> 00:07:33.019 God was sending some really bad news. We also 00:07:33.019 --> 00:07:39.500 know that the sons of judges rode donkeys. And 00:07:39.500 --> 00:07:42.660 like the sons of the judges in Judges 12, 13 00:07:42.660 --> 00:07:47.399 through 14, after him, Abdon, the son of Hillel, 00:07:47.459 --> 00:07:52.290 the Perithnight, judged Israel. He had 40 sons 00:07:52.290 --> 00:07:57.029 and 30 grandsons who rode on 70 colts, and he 00:07:57.029 --> 00:08:01.029 judged Israel eight years. The king of Israel, the son of God, comes 00:08:10.410 --> 00:08:14.629 riding on a donkey, humble king. Interesting, isn't 00:11:29.870 --> 00:11:32.929 it? Notice what it says. And the crowd said, 00:11:33.049 --> 00:11:37.309 this is the prophet.
