Jesus said in John 10 .10 that He came to 00:00:29.160 --> 00:00:31.039 give us life and give it more abundantly, while 00:00:31.039 --> 00:00:33.539 the Holy Spirit came to give us that abundant 00:00:33.539 --> 00:00:35.979 life also. So we need to understand that and 00:00:35.979 --> 00:00:37.859 believe that. You know, we need to define before 00:00:37.859 --> 00:00:41.299 we get too far the word abound. It means to overflow, 00:00:41.539 --> 00:00:44.060 to increase in strength. And so before we get 00:00:44.060 --> 00:00:46.679 into this, let's pray. Have any father? That means we need to open 00:01:14.680 --> 00:01:17.379 that door. be at the door and he's knocking and 00:01:17.379 --> 00:01:19.319 he's trying to get in but we don't open that 00:01:19.319 --> 00:01:21.019 door to him. A lot of people have a difficult 00:01:21.019 --> 00:01:23.939 time opening the door to invite the Holy Spirit 00:01:23.939 --> 00:01:26.319 into their heart, into their mind, into their 00:01:26.319 --> 00:01:29.819 life and to receive his abundance, to see what 00:01:29.819 --> 00:01:31.700 he has in store for each and every one of us. 00:01:31.920 --> 00:01:34.959 The Holy Spirit is the only way that we can live 00:01:34.959 --> 00:01:37.439 abundantly. Well, that 00:01:50.519 --> 00:01:52.980 certainly is not the abundance I'm talking about. 00:01:53.200 --> 00:01:55.340 You might have a lot of stuff, but it's not going 00:01:55.340 --> 00:01:57.640 with us. And we've got to understand that abundance 00:01:57.640 --> 00:02:00.579 is the only kind of abundance of any value is 00:02:00.579 --> 00:02:02.719 spiritual abundance that we all need. And the 00:02:02.719 --> 00:02:05.719 Holy Spirit is the only one who can bring spiritual 00:02:05.719 --> 00:02:09.259 abundance help us to abound in our walk with 00:02:09.259 --> 00:02:12.620 the Lord. No, he's not. Now it is the desire 00:02:47.949 --> 00:02:51.550 of the Holy Spirit to help us live more abundantly. 00:02:51.689 --> 00:02:54.509 Now that word abundantly many times people want 00:02:54.509 --> 00:02:56.189 to turn you off because you think you're just 00:02:56.189 --> 00:02:58.030 going to be hearing about money and talking about 00:02:58.030 --> 00:03:00.669 wealth and being richer than the next guy and 00:03:00.669 --> 00:03:03.050 that's not at all what this podcast is about 00:03:03.050 --> 00:03:05.990 nor is that what it shouldn't be about that because 00:03:05.990 --> 00:03:08.030 the abundance that the Holy Spirit brings is 00:03:08.030 --> 00:03:11.889 truly spiritual and is eternal and the other 00:03:11.889 --> 00:03:14.789 kind of abundance is temporal and No matter how 00:03:14.789 --> 00:03:16.610 much money a person has, how much wealth they 00:03:16.610 --> 00:03:18.909 have, how many houses they own, when they pass 00:03:18.909 --> 00:03:21.030 from this life to the next, it's all going to 00:03:21.030 --> 00:03:23.349 be left behind. And what's kind of ironic about 00:03:23.349 --> 00:03:25.750 that is that there'll be people living in the 00:03:25.750 --> 00:03:28.169 possessions that we had when we go on, that maybe 00:03:28.169 --> 00:03:29.969 we didn't even care for those people. They'll 00:03:29.969 --> 00:03:32.569 be driving our cars. But none of that really 00:03:32.569 --> 00:03:36.270 matters unless we focus on our spiritual abundance 00:03:36.270 --> 00:03:39.770 and what we can do to be blessed and receive 00:03:39.770 --> 00:03:41.590 the fullness of the Holy Spirit. You know, I've 00:03:41.590 --> 00:03:44.069 talked and done podcasts on just on specifically 00:03:44.069 --> 00:03:46.250 on abundant living and how to live abundantly. 00:03:46.569 --> 00:03:48.849 And the one point that I've used many, many times 00:03:48.849 --> 00:03:51.729 is people focus on financial abundance when in 00:03:51.729 --> 00:03:54.610 reality spiritual abundance is certainly key 00:03:54.610 --> 00:03:57.509 and of far more importance than financial abundance. 00:03:57.669 --> 00:03:59.550 Although there's nothing wrong with making money, 00:03:59.650 --> 00:04:01.409 there's nothing wrong with having good finances, 00:04:01.409 --> 00:04:04.169 but that's not the focus on this particular podcast. 00:04:04.409 --> 00:04:07.310 Now here's some proof, I believe, of how we are 00:04:07.310 --> 00:04:10.250 able to abound in the Holy Spirit. In Romans 00:04:10.250 --> 00:04:13.629 chapter 15 and verse 13 in the New International 00:04:13.629 --> 00:04:23.170 Version says this, all joy. It doesn't say some 00:04:23.170 --> 00:04:25.550 joy or a little bit of joy or a little tiny piece 00:04:25.550 --> 00:04:28.230 of joy or one day of joy. It says, may the God 00:04:28.230 --> 00:04:32.329 of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you 00:04:32.329 --> 00:04:35.829 trust in him so that you may overflow with hope 00:04:35.829 --> 00:04:38.269 by the power of the Holy Spirit. All right that 00:04:38.269 --> 00:04:40.449 certainly brings this whole podcast together 00:04:40.449 --> 00:04:43.009 and that is that that Paul was writing to the 00:04:43.009 --> 00:04:45.370 Romans and he's telling them about the significance 00:04:45.370 --> 00:04:48.029 of our walk with God and that it's all basically 00:04:48.029 --> 00:04:50.720 directed by yielding to the power of the Holy 00:04:50.720 --> 00:04:53.620 Spirit. See God wants to bring his hope to us. 00:04:53.819 --> 00:04:55.899 He wants to fill us with all his joy. That's 00:04:55.899 --> 00:04:57.939 the Holy Spirit's joy and he wants us to have 00:04:57.939 --> 00:05:01.480 Holy Spirit peace and Holy Spirit trust and he 00:05:01.480 --> 00:05:03.800 wants us to overflow. That means to have more 00:05:03.800 --> 00:05:05.620 than we can even handle. Now the word overflow 00:05:05.620 --> 00:05:08.699 is kind of a fun word. It's another synonym for 00:05:08.699 --> 00:05:12.040 the word abound is to overflow. To overflow means 00:05:12.040 --> 00:05:14.480 it's more than you need, more than enough. So 00:05:14.480 --> 00:05:17.560 God can bless us so much. He has so much love 00:05:17.560 --> 00:05:20.329 and so much kindness and so much that we have 00:05:20.329 --> 00:05:22.649 to give to other people that it overflows to 00:05:22.649 --> 00:05:25.149 others and those around us and that's why he 00:05:25.149 --> 00:05:27.689 gives talents and abilities to people and he 00:05:27.689 --> 00:05:30.069 wants that talent and ability to overflow from 00:05:30.069 --> 00:05:32.930 them into others and minister to the people of 00:05:32.930 --> 00:05:35.329 God. It says that you may overflow with hope, 00:05:35.430 --> 00:05:38.129 isn't it? Some overflowing with hope by the power 00:05:38.129 --> 00:05:41.129 of the Holy Spirit. So here we're seeing basically 00:05:41.129 --> 00:05:43.529 a foundation that's being built to understand 00:05:43.529 --> 00:05:46.750 how we can abound in the Holy Spirit. Now the 00:05:46.750 --> 00:05:49.829 Holy Spirit reveals the God of I mean, he's the 00:05:49.829 --> 00:05:52.050 one that reveals everything to us. The reason 00:05:52.050 --> 00:05:54.569 we know that we're saved is because the Holy 00:05:54.569 --> 00:05:57.910 Spirit has the one that he drew us to God. And 00:05:57.910 --> 00:05:59.970 the reason we know that we can live in peace 00:05:59.970 --> 00:06:02.569 is that he brings the peace to us. We can know 00:06:02.569 --> 00:06:04.529 that we trust God because of our relationship 00:06:04.529 --> 00:06:07.050 with the Holy Spirit who helps us to have trust, 00:06:07.250 --> 00:06:09.310 the kind of trust that we can only get from him. 00:06:09.610 --> 00:06:12.269 So the Holy Spirit reveals the God of hope. The 00:06:12.269 --> 00:06:15.850 Holy Spirit brings all joy to us, not just some 00:06:15.850 --> 00:06:19.430 joy, not just joy in sports, just joy in having 00:06:19.430 --> 00:06:21.350 money or shopping or whatever it might be. All 00:06:21.350 --> 00:06:23.209 those things are fine. There's nothing wrong 00:06:23.209 --> 00:06:25.490 with those things. But in reality, the Holy Spirit 00:06:25.490 --> 00:06:28.850 brings all joy to us. That means regardless of 00:06:28.850 --> 00:06:31.110 what we're going through, regardless of our circumstances, 00:06:31.649 --> 00:06:35.100 we can still have joy. People don't realize when 00:06:35.100 --> 00:06:37.860 Jesus was, well a lot of people do, but some 00:06:37.860 --> 00:06:40.199 people don't understand that when Jesus was on 00:06:40.199 --> 00:06:43.480 the cross the Bible tells us that he had joy 00:06:43.480 --> 00:06:46.160 in his heart for what he knew was going to take 00:06:46.160 --> 00:06:49.040 place because of his crucifixion. The number 00:06:49.040 --> 00:06:51.519 of people who would follow him and the number 00:06:51.519 --> 00:06:53.480 of people who would follow in the years to come 00:06:53.480 --> 00:06:56.160 and the centuries to come before he returns to 00:06:56.160 --> 00:07:00.279 pick up his church. He had joy and it's hard 00:07:00.279 --> 00:07:02.060 to imagine that going through that but I know 00:07:02.060 --> 00:07:04.620 people who I have a sister, for example. She 00:07:04.620 --> 00:07:08.500 is struggling with multiple sclerosis for many 00:07:08.500 --> 00:07:11.519 years, for like 35, 40 years. Before that, before 00:07:11.519 --> 00:07:13.420 she got to know the Lord, she wasn't very happy 00:07:13.420 --> 00:07:15.660 person. She was moody and all that. But now, 00:07:15.939 --> 00:07:18.319 her life is filled with joy. And if you go see 00:07:18.319 --> 00:07:20.540 her right now and walk to her and say, how are 00:07:20.540 --> 00:07:22.839 you doing? And she's bent over, can't hardly 00:07:22.839 --> 00:07:25.139 walk. But bottom line, when you look at her and 00:07:25.139 --> 00:07:27.399 say, how are you doing? She still loves Jesus. 00:07:27.620 --> 00:07:30.170 And she just smiles at you and says, oh. Jesus 00:07:30.170 --> 00:07:33.589 is everything. See all hope and all joy in him 00:07:33.589 --> 00:07:36.189 because of the Holy Spirit who's living and dwelling 00:07:36.189 --> 00:07:38.569 on her in the midst of her circumstance. She 00:07:38.569 --> 00:07:40.810 can be filled with joy. And that's the kind of 00:07:40.810 --> 00:07:43.050 joy that the Holy Spirit brings. That's what 00:07:43.050 --> 00:07:45.709 abounding in the Holy Spirit is all about. The 00:07:45.709 --> 00:07:47.850 Holy Spirit brings peace. And I talked about 00:07:47.850 --> 00:07:49.810 that in prior podcasts. I'm not going to spend 00:07:49.810 --> 00:07:52.129 a lot of time right now, but the Holy Spirit 00:07:52.129 --> 00:07:54.209 brings peace. And as I've mentioned in prior 00:07:54.209 --> 00:07:56.810 podcasts, if there's one thing that I've prayed 00:07:56.810 --> 00:07:58.329 for people in the church when they've come up 00:07:58.329 --> 00:08:00.620 and say, pastor just could you help me and could 00:08:00.620 --> 00:08:02.639 you pray for me if it's not a physical thing 00:08:02.639 --> 00:08:05.500 it's usually something like they need peace or 00:08:05.500 --> 00:08:07.379 they need hope they need what the Holy Spirit 00:08:07.379 --> 00:08:09.519 brings and the Holy Spirit is living and dwelling 00:08:09.519 --> 00:08:12.399 inside of them and so the Holy Spirit brings 00:08:12.399 --> 00:08:14.740 that peace and that's what people are looking 00:08:14.740 --> 00:08:17.560 for they're looking for that peace that doesn't 00:08:17.560 --> 00:08:19.540 break down when they're challenged that peace 00:08:19.540 --> 00:08:22.180 that is maintained in the midst of a bad diagnosis 00:08:22.180 --> 00:08:24.899 or a divorce or a financial failure or a bankruptcy 00:08:24.899 --> 00:08:27.899 or children you know going astray those types 00:08:27.899 --> 00:08:30.759 of things we can still maintain a hope, all joy, 00:08:30.920 --> 00:08:33.779 and peace. The Holy Spirit helps us to trust 00:08:33.779 --> 00:08:36.080 in God. You know, we need to put our trust in 00:08:36.080 --> 00:08:38.120 God. Trust in the Lord it says in the Bible says, 00:08:38.240 --> 00:08:40.539 with all your heart lean not on your own understanding 00:08:40.539 --> 00:08:43.259 and all your ways acknowledge him and he will 00:08:43.259 --> 00:08:45.740 direct your path. Now when we think about that 00:08:45.740 --> 00:08:48.120 trust that trust can only come into our heart 00:08:48.120 --> 00:08:50.220 because of our you know through our relationship 00:08:50.220 --> 00:08:52.860 I should say with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit 00:08:52.860 --> 00:08:56.899 helps us to trust in God. He reminds us of the 00:08:56.899 --> 00:08:59.000 goodness of God. He reminds us of scriptures 00:08:59.000 --> 00:09:02.139 that strengthen us and helps us. He reminds us 00:09:02.139 --> 00:09:04.519 of what life we lived before we received Jesus 00:09:04.519 --> 00:09:06.820 Christ as our Lord and Savior in the new life 00:09:06.820 --> 00:09:09.240 that we have. So the Holy Spirit brings that 00:09:09.240 --> 00:09:12.340 to us. and that's how we can abound in the Holy 00:09:12.340 --> 00:09:15.080 Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings the ability to 00:09:15.080 --> 00:09:17.120 have an overflowing life and I talked a little 00:09:17.120 --> 00:09:18.860 bit about that earlier. So let me just kind of 00:09:18.860 --> 00:09:21.039 review real quick the points that I just made 00:09:21.039 --> 00:09:23.340 on this. I wrote them down. The Holy Spirit reveals 00:09:23.340 --> 00:09:26.600 the God of Hope. He brings all joy. He brings 00:09:26.600 --> 00:09:29.679 peace and He helps us to trust in God and He 00:09:29.679 --> 00:09:32.799 brings a life that's overflowing. It's more than 00:09:32.799 --> 00:09:36.500 abundance. It's more than enough and that's how 00:09:36.500 --> 00:09:39.670 He wants to live and how He wants us to abound 00:09:39.670 --> 00:09:43.029 in the Holy Spirit as we walk through life. What Jesus was talking about 00:11:13.639 --> 00:11:16.159 in a wonderful scripture here, Matthew 12, 34. 00:11:16.379 --> 00:11:17.820 I'm not going to read the exact scripture, but 00:11:17.820 --> 00:11:19.159 I'm just going to tell you what he was saying. 00:11:19.379 --> 00:11:21.679 Jesus was talking about this abundant living. 00:11:22.110 --> 00:11:25.389 What Jesus basically said was this. I'm paraphrasing 00:11:25.389 --> 00:11:27.970 just to make it easy and comfortable to receive 00:11:27.970 --> 00:11:32.230 it. What is in our heart is who we are. Not necessarily 00:11:32.230 --> 00:11:34.509 what's in our mind, but what's in our heart. 00:11:34.710 --> 00:11:36.129 Those are the deep things, those things that 00:11:36.129 --> 00:11:37.990 go down deep. We can have something in our mind 00:11:37.990 --> 00:11:40.210 and think about something and have an idea or 00:11:40.210 --> 00:11:42.429 something, but until it comes into our heart, 00:11:42.509 --> 00:11:44.929 it becomes part of us and goes deep and it's 00:11:44.929 --> 00:11:46.809 headed. That's why people have a difficult time 00:11:46.809 --> 00:11:49.429 when they have bitterness and they have unforgiveness 00:11:49.429 --> 00:11:51.909 and maybe they went through a divorce or a bad 00:11:51.909 --> 00:11:54.570 business transaction or a business that's split 00:11:54.570 --> 00:11:56.610 or whatever it might be, relationships between 00:11:56.610 --> 00:11:59.230 relatives and it gets deep and it gets into their 00:11:59.230 --> 00:12:01.740 heart. and it's harder to get rid of it there. 00:12:02.000 --> 00:12:04.279 But if it's in our mind, we can beat it up easier 00:12:04.279 --> 00:12:06.399 in our mind than we can in our heart. And so 00:12:06.399 --> 00:12:09.879 what Jesus is saying in Matthew 12, verse 34, 00:12:10.240 --> 00:12:14.059 he's talking about what is in our heart is actually 00:12:14.059 --> 00:12:17.620 who we really are. The words we speak reflect 00:12:17.620 --> 00:12:21.980 our thoughts. our intentions. All of this comes 00:12:21.980 --> 00:12:24.639 about in having the right relationship with the 00:12:24.639 --> 00:12:27.299 Holy Spirit and having that comfort in our heart 00:12:27.299 --> 00:12:30.039 and having our trust in God and lean not on our 00:12:30.039 --> 00:12:32.299 own understanding and trust Him in everything 00:12:32.299 --> 00:12:34.399 that we do. The thoughts that are in our heart 00:12:34.399 --> 00:12:36.879 will come out to be who we really are. Here's 00:12:36.879 --> 00:12:40.559 an example. A moral person produces moral living. 00:12:40.919 --> 00:12:43.879 An evil person produces evil living. So if a 00:12:43.879 --> 00:12:46.379 person is immoral in their heart they're going 00:12:46.379 --> 00:12:49.419 to produce that. If a person has love and joy 00:12:49.419 --> 00:12:51.220 and peace and the fruit of the Spirit in their 00:12:51.220 --> 00:12:53.019 heart then they're going to produce that. That's where he says, to be anxious 00:13:23.659 --> 00:13:25.600 for nothing, but everything through prayer, petitions 00:13:25.600 --> 00:13:27.600 with thanksgiving, make your requests, be made 00:13:27.600 --> 00:13:29.759 known to God and the peace of God that pass us 00:13:29.759 --> 00:13:31.659 all understanding will guard your hearts and 00:13:31.659 --> 00:13:33.399 guard your mind. I'm not going to get 00:14:33.840 --> 00:14:36.080 into money, but think about this. The Holy Spirit 00:14:36.080 --> 00:14:39.299 has made an investment in us. He's there. He's 00:14:39.299 --> 00:14:43.120 ready. He was deposited in us. He personally 00:14:43.120 --> 00:14:46.980 was deposited in us. What kind of investment 00:14:46.980 --> 00:14:50.720 return do we produce? Now in business there's 00:14:50.720 --> 00:14:55.259 something we call ROI. It stands for return on 00:14:55.259 --> 00:14:58.340 investment. Abounding in the Holy Spirit will 00:14:58.340 --> 00:15:01.799 have a great ROI, a return on our investment 00:15:01.799 --> 00:15:04.700 because it'll be a return to the Holy Spirit's 00:15:04.700 --> 00:15:07.360 investment and will be pleasing unto the Lord 00:15:07.360 --> 00:15:09.440 and will be a blessing unto the Lord and will 00:15:09.440 --> 00:15:11.720 be a blessing to the church, will be a blessing 00:15:11.720 --> 00:15:14.399 to the kingdom of God. So when the Holy Spirit 00:15:14.399 --> 00:15:16.860 has been invested in us, how are we treating 00:15:16.860 --> 00:15:19.679 that investment? Are we protecting him or are 00:15:19.679 --> 00:15:22.330 we grieving him? The Bible says, don't grieve 00:15:22.330 --> 00:15:24.370 the Holy Spirit. And we grieve Him by making 00:15:24.370 --> 00:15:26.889 Him sad, by when we sin, when we make mistakes, 00:15:27.129 --> 00:15:29.090 when we have errors, when we get into arguments 00:15:29.090 --> 00:15:32.169 that we lose control of. Those all grieve the 00:15:32.169 --> 00:15:34.230 Holy Spirit. We can correct those. We can make 00:15:34.230 --> 00:15:37.029 them right. That means let everybody know 00:16:04.009 --> 00:16:06.950 that I came to earth, that I was crucified, resurrected, 00:16:07.350 --> 00:16:09.009 and I'm sitting at the right hand of the Father. 00:16:09.190 --> 00:16:11.049 He says, let people be aware of that, and that 00:16:11.049 --> 00:16:13.649 is the responsibility of every believer. The 00:16:13.649 --> 00:16:17.029 Holy Spirit is the investment that God made in 00:16:17.029 --> 00:16:20.490 us, and he wants to have a return that we share 00:16:20.490 --> 00:16:22.889 our faith with others. You know, I would be remiss 00:16:22.889 --> 00:16:24.970 if I didn't read this one scripture to you when 00:16:24.970 --> 00:16:27.029 we're talking about how to abound in the Holy 00:16:27.029 --> 00:16:29.629 Spirit. The Apostle Paul wrote about that, about 00:16:29.629 --> 00:16:31.289 the power of the Holy Spirit in our life. He 00:16:31.289 --> 00:16:33.850 wrote about it in the book of Ephesians in chapter 00:16:33.850 --> 00:16:36.590 one in verses 13 and 14. I'm just gonna read 00:16:36.590 --> 00:16:38.809 both of those verses to you because they truly 00:16:38.809 --> 00:16:42.009 are powerful, extremely powerful. He says, and 00:16:42.009 --> 00:16:44.190 this is Paul writing, and now you Gentiles have 00:16:44.190 --> 00:16:47.009 also heard the truth, the good news, that God 00:16:47.009 --> 00:16:50.429 saved you. And when you believed in Christ, he 00:16:50.429 --> 00:16:53.809 identified you as his own by giving you the Holy 00:16:53.809 --> 00:16:56.509 Spirit. There we are, whom he promised long ago. 00:16:56.830 --> 00:16:59.929 Verse 14, the Spirit is God's guarantee that 00:16:59.929 --> 00:17:02.629 He will give us the inheritance He promised and 00:17:02.629 --> 00:17:05.809 that He has purchased us to be His own people. 00:17:06.250 --> 00:17:09.150 He did this so we would praise and glorify Him. 00:17:09.369 --> 00:17:11.730 That is so beautiful, I think, when Paul wrote 00:17:11.730 --> 00:17:14.269 that. He came that he would 00:17:31.670 --> 00:17:34.509 make a sacrifice and God made that sacrifice 00:17:34.509 --> 00:17:37.430 of his son and then turn around after his son 00:17:37.430 --> 00:17:40.490 was resurrected then God sent an investment of 00:17:40.490 --> 00:17:42.849 the Holy Spirit down so that we could have bound 00:17:42.849 --> 00:17:45.410 in that investment. We could have bound in the 00:17:45.410 --> 00:17:48.549 Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has several reasons 00:17:48.549 --> 00:17:53.059 that he's here. The manor, if you will, the manner 00:17:53.059 --> 00:17:56.640 of the Holy Spirit is a divine person with unlimited 00:17:56.640 --> 00:18:02.119 power. He speaks to us. He acts in us and communicates 00:18:02.119 --> 00:18:04.000 to us. Now, some people say, well, how does he 00:18:04.000 --> 00:18:05.740 communicate? Have you heard his voice? I get this pressure 00:18:34.180 --> 00:18:35.799 right now, and I'm thinking, I got a lot of things 00:18:35.799 --> 00:18:37.680 to do. I got to get ready. You know how the thought 00:18:37.680 --> 00:18:40.579 goes through our mind? But that still quiet voice 00:18:40.579 --> 00:18:42.940 is basically saying, call now. And I thought, well, thank you, Lord. 00:18:52.079 --> 00:18:54.160 I'm calling someone so they can laugh at me. 00:18:54.380 --> 00:18:56.900 And so, no, the guy says, oh, I'm sorry. And he's praying through us when he prays 00:20:09.279 --> 00:20:13.099 for us. And the Holy Spirit speaks to us in so 00:20:13.099 --> 00:20:15.200 many different ways. He speaks to us through 00:20:15.200 --> 00:20:17.160 a friend, through a sermon, through a scripture 00:20:17.160 --> 00:20:19.109 that you read. through somebody else's prayer. 00:20:19.490 --> 00:20:22.230 He might speak to us, we might be reading a newspaper, 00:20:22.430 --> 00:20:24.289 or reading a magazine, or whatever we're doing, 00:20:24.549 --> 00:20:26.470 and we're going through that. It doesn't mean you won't make 00:21:34.460 --> 00:21:36.400 a mistake, you won't sin, you won't do something 00:21:36.400 --> 00:21:38.380 wrong, but you'll have the Spirit of God in you 00:21:38.380 --> 00:21:40.599 so that you can go correct that situation. So 00:21:40.599 --> 00:21:42.859 it's a process. It's a process of learning how 00:21:42.859 --> 00:21:44.720 to help others. So let me ask you a question. 00:22:14.380 --> 00:22:16.579 Are you still growing in the Lord? Because we 00:22:16.579 --> 00:22:18.640 don't ever complete the work that God's doing 00:22:18.640 --> 00:22:20.920 in us. It's like saying that I've read the Bible 00:22:20.920 --> 00:22:22.720 and I understand every bit of it. No, there's 00:22:22.720 --> 00:22:24.579 no one on the face of the earth that understands 00:22:24.579 --> 00:22:26.900 every single part of the Bible. It's a continual 00:22:26.900 --> 00:22:29.339 process of growth. And that's what the Holy Spirit 00:22:29.339 --> 00:22:32.319 is the agent of. He's the one that helps us to 00:22:32.319 --> 00:22:35.599 grow spiritually. So let's seek Him. Let's ask 00:22:35.599 --> 00:22:37.779 Him for help. asking for guidance.
