That would have been in the 00:05:09.100 --> 00:05:12.500 summer of 76, I don't know, June, July, sometime 00:05:12.500 --> 00:05:16.839 around that time. And then in November of 1976, 00:05:17.399 --> 00:05:20.670 here... at headquarters, and I was off at language 00:05:20.670 --> 00:05:23.290 school by that time. So I wasn't involved in 00:05:23.290 --> 00:05:25.529 this, but it's in this book that she wrote called 00:05:25.529 --> 00:05:28.209 Pour Out Your Heart. It's a Bible study on intercessory 00:05:28.209 --> 00:05:32.310 travailing prayer. And she got this word from 00:05:32.310 --> 00:05:35.730 the Lord, and it opens the book, right? And they were on their 00:13:30.960 --> 00:13:33.940 way to Russia. And this is communist. Oh, yeah. 00:13:34.139 --> 00:13:36.759 This is Cold War going on. This is Iron Curtain 00:13:36.759 --> 00:13:40.940 countries. It was an Iron Curtain. Yeah. Natural 00:13:40.940 --> 00:13:45.200 and spiritual. Yeah. And I didn't want to. That's the only way that it could have happened 00:14:35.809 --> 00:14:38.250 because they hid the Bibles in their vehicle 00:14:38.250 --> 00:14:42.950 in secret compartments. And, you know, only somebody 00:14:42.950 --> 00:14:45.429 who knew to look for them there would have found 00:14:45.429 --> 00:14:49.090 them. So somebody tipped them off and they were 00:14:49.090 --> 00:14:53.049 arrested and they were in a jail cell. And I 00:14:53.049 --> 00:14:54.909 think they had one toothbrush among them and 00:14:54.909 --> 00:14:58.730 they all shared it. But they, you know, they 00:14:58.730 --> 00:15:02.710 were flowing with the Holy Spirit and they were. 00:15:03.309 --> 00:15:07.529 praising God in spite of their situation and 00:15:07.529 --> 00:15:10.850 trying to maintain the presence of the Lord. 00:15:10.929 --> 00:15:13.710 But they couldn't pray for themselves, really. 00:15:13.929 --> 00:15:18.389 And they asked God in that moment, send the word 00:15:18.389 --> 00:15:21.950 to the intercessors. Let the intercessors wake 00:15:21.950 --> 00:15:25.909 up and pray for us. And they got word later from 00:15:25.909 --> 00:15:28.970 all over the world of different people that God 00:15:28.970 --> 00:15:32.480 spoke to. you know, even gave them visions of 00:15:32.480 --> 00:15:36.059 Sister Gwen and her team being in jail. And they 00:15:36.059 --> 00:15:40.360 were. And so these people got on their knees 00:15:40.360 --> 00:15:45.460 in that moment and travailed and prayed and prayed 00:15:45.460 --> 00:15:48.360 and prayed. And this idea of praying through, 00:15:48.500 --> 00:15:51.799 it's kind of like a principle of the Holy Spirit 00:15:51.799 --> 00:15:55.960 that you know when... your prayer has been... 00:15:55.960 --> 00:15:57.279 When you got the breakthrough. He was doing a kind of intercession for 00:23:11.769 --> 00:23:14.970 us. He wasn't just struggling against, I don't 00:23:14.970 --> 00:23:18.089 want to go through this. He was actually beginning 00:23:18.089 --> 00:23:23.150 to bear the burden of sin upon himself. And so 00:23:23.150 --> 00:23:25.549 there was a travail that was going on in his 00:23:25.549 --> 00:23:28.089 prayer in Gethsemane. And I just felt led of the Lord to 00:25:24.829 --> 00:25:28.490 go and take hold of her feet and begin to travail 00:25:28.490 --> 00:25:32.549 with her and help her to carry that burden. If 00:25:32.549 --> 00:25:34.750 I'm not mistaken, that was the night that we 00:25:34.750 --> 00:25:38.750 had a fire that destroyed our whole office building. 00:25:39.710 --> 00:25:42.170 Wow.
