All they had was 00:05:06.149 --> 00:05:09.519 a touch of the presence of the Holy Spirit. people 00:05:09.519 --> 00:05:12.600 coming to the Lord, them coming together, reading 00:05:12.600 --> 00:05:15.740 the Bible together. It was very complicated for 00:05:15.740 --> 00:05:18.319 them because they had nobody to help them, you 00:05:18.319 --> 00:05:21.500 know, plow through Numbers and Deuteronomy and 00:05:21.500 --> 00:05:24.759 that sort of thing. And it was just a totally 00:05:24.759 --> 00:05:27.040 different scene because then after that, what 00:05:27.040 --> 00:05:30.579 did they do? They ate together, they worshiped 00:05:30.579 --> 00:05:33.620 the Lord together, and then they went on to reach 00:05:33.620 --> 00:05:36.579 more people together. So my idea 00:06:24.389 --> 00:06:27.069 is a lot different than it was the last time 00:06:27.069 --> 00:06:29.750 we spoke when I was there at Engletown about, 00:06:29.910 --> 00:06:32.850 you know, the end of the great white missionary 00:06:32.850 --> 00:06:37.209 hope going into that area, learning the language, 00:06:37.509 --> 00:06:41.250 bringing them to Jesus, because now it's a totally 00:06:41.250 --> 00:06:45.000 different picture. All over the world and on 00:06:45.000 --> 00:06:47.439 back to Jerusalem through the Muslim nations. 00:06:47.660 --> 00:06:51.779 And of course, Jesus returns. So let me clarify 00:06:51.779 --> 00:06:56.220 that. And I hope I did there to you. Yeah. It was a great experience bringing 00:07:17.709 --> 00:07:19.769 the Word of God there, because when I say the 00:07:19.769 --> 00:07:23.610 Word, I mean the gospel truth, because they had 00:07:23.610 --> 00:07:26.430 been through so much of these initial decades 00:07:26.430 --> 00:07:29.410 of learning to live and function and operate 00:07:29.410 --> 00:07:33.069 as a church. But there, you know, they were so 00:07:33.069 --> 00:07:36.649 hungry. And I'm a senior now at 70 years old. 00:07:37.089 --> 00:07:40.610 And to go to places like that with only 1 .7 00:07:40.610 --> 00:07:44.269 % Christians there, I thought, wow, that's what 00:07:44.269 --> 00:07:47.790 it was in China in 1987 when we went there. And 00:07:47.790 --> 00:07:50.790 then what happened next? It was like, whoa, it 00:07:50.790 --> 00:07:54.310 was an explosion. But the thing is, generationally 00:07:54.310 --> 00:07:56.389 speaking, I'm talking to you, Sharon, and me 00:07:56.389 --> 00:08:00.649 at our age. Things come in perfect timing. The 00:08:00.649 --> 00:08:03.769 Holy Spirit's timing is perfect. And even for 00:08:03.769 --> 00:08:06.430 this, you know, I thought, is that it? When I 00:08:06.430 --> 00:08:09.470 got over there and I saw the people and I saw 00:08:09.470 --> 00:08:13.589 their hunger and their love for each other, I 00:08:13.589 --> 00:08:16.509 thought, I almost don't want to interfere. And 00:08:16.509 --> 00:08:20.490 I did take a backseat. They brought me up to 00:08:20.490 --> 00:08:22.790 teach them these things, but I wanted to take 00:08:22.790 --> 00:08:25.670 a backseat and like a grandfather, which I am, 00:08:26.360 --> 00:08:29.160 Guide them and love them. And, you know, none 00:08:29.160 --> 00:08:32.639 of this grandstanding stuff. And they had found 00:08:32.639 --> 00:08:35.940 that some other denominations from other different 00:08:35.940 --> 00:08:39.700 countries would come in and want to control them 00:08:39.700 --> 00:08:43.419 in a situation. And they said, you need this. 00:08:44.580 --> 00:08:49.279 They didn't. What I saw was just such love. And 00:08:49.279 --> 00:08:51.679 especially during this Easter season when we 00:08:51.679 --> 00:08:55.379 were there. They all came together in Ardennet, 00:08:55.419 --> 00:08:58.779 the pastors, leaders, and the teachers. And the 00:08:58.779 --> 00:09:01.019 place was just packed. They hadn't done that 00:09:01.019 --> 00:09:04.980 there before. And there they were. And it was 00:09:04.980 --> 00:09:08.139 just a festival of love. And when you have that 00:09:08.139 --> 00:09:11.840 kind of love, you have the Holy Spirit. And what 00:09:11.840 --> 00:09:14.340 do you really need more than that except somebody 00:09:14.340 --> 00:09:18.320 to maybe come up and impress on them the need 00:09:18.320 --> 00:09:22.360 for them to keep their freedoms? And that's what 00:09:22.360 --> 00:09:25.379 Paul was most interested in because he saw what 00:09:25.379 --> 00:09:28.860 was happening. He said these Judaizers and these 00:09:28.860 --> 00:09:32.860 legalists will come in and they'll try to steal 00:09:32.860 --> 00:09:34.679 your freedom. And he said, I'm afraid of that, 00:09:34.740 --> 00:09:39.019 the wolves. And I saw that too. But they have 00:09:39.019 --> 00:09:41.779 such a grasp on the Holy Spirit and his love 00:09:41.779 --> 00:09:46.360 among themselves in Mongolia that anything outside 00:09:46.360 --> 00:09:51.159 of that is suspect. And they discern it. right 00:09:51.159 --> 00:09:53.720 now. And then we'll learn this 00:11:15.419 --> 00:11:19.370 all together. And then when we're finished. We'll 00:11:19.370 --> 00:11:21.950 go through the whole New Testament, learn everything 00:11:21.950 --> 00:11:26.110 we can about Jesus, and then we'll go back and 00:11:26.110 --> 00:11:30.370 look at some of the history and how it pointed 00:11:30.370 --> 00:11:34.070 to Jesus.
