God ordained 00:04:09.389 --> 00:04:12.310 government to maintain order and justice, ensuring 00:04:12.310 --> 00:04:16.350 a peaceful and prosperous society. God established 00:04:16.350 --> 00:04:19.170 government to provide protection and punishment. 00:04:19.420 --> 00:04:22.759 Government is tasked with protecting the innocent 00:04:22.759 --> 00:04:26.680 and punishing those who do wrong, acting as God's 00:04:26.680 --> 00:04:30.600 instrument of justice. Of course, considering 00:05:03.889 --> 00:05:07.149 the fallen nature of humanity, the only way God's 00:05:07.149 --> 00:05:10.089 objectives for government to be successful is 00:05:10.089 --> 00:05:12.930 for His righteous men and women to be involved. 00:05:13.389 --> 00:05:16.350 The Bible clearly states the governments are 00:05:16.350 --> 00:05:19.970 on Christ's shoulders, Isaiah 9 6, and that the 00:05:19.970 --> 00:05:23.990 nations are Christ's inheritance, Psalm 2 verse 00:05:23.990 --> 00:05:28.569 8. For these reasons, God's people must be involved 00:05:28.569 --> 00:05:31.629 in government, and that means the politics that 00:05:31.629 --> 00:05:34.790 comes with it. For these reasons and more, you 00:05:34.790 --> 00:05:38.209 can count on me exploring world events, seeking 00:05:38.209 --> 00:05:41.029 the Lord to understand what he wants us to know. 00:05:41.149 --> 00:05:45.269 how he wants us to respond so we can experience 00:05:45.269 --> 00:05:48.430 God's kingdom will done on earth as it is in 00:05:48.430 --> 00:05:51.350 heaven. Now helping us consider world events 00:05:51.350 --> 00:05:54.470 from God's perspective, please welcome my guest 00:05:54.470 --> 00:06:05.410 Amanda Grace. So we have to use wisdom in walking, 00:06:05.410 --> 00:06:08.930 you know, in that because the church has become 00:06:08.930 --> 00:06:13.740 embroiled in toxicity. that the enemy has been 00:06:13.740 --> 00:06:18.660 able to slither his way and get in. And the way 00:06:18.660 --> 00:06:21.620 you get out of it is you take back the believer's 00:06:21.620 --> 00:06:24.860 authority and you start truly operating it on 00:06:24.860 --> 00:06:27.279 every level. And I think that's really important 00:06:27.279 --> 00:06:29.819 that you're bringing that out, to take back the 00:06:29.819 --> 00:06:32.180 believer's authority. The enemy has also been 00:06:32.180 --> 00:06:35.000 very successful, unfortunately, to convince a 00:06:35.000 --> 00:06:36.939 large number of Christians that the supernatural 00:06:36.939 --> 00:06:40.089 gifts don't exist today, for example. Another 00:06:40.089 --> 00:06:41.930 lie that we've bought into is the separation 00:06:41.930 --> 00:06:44.829 of church and state, where I cannot think of 00:06:44.829 --> 00:06:47.529 any place more important for the church to have 00:06:47.529 --> 00:06:50.430 influence than in government. And we know that 00:06:50.430 --> 00:06:52.329 the government is upon the shoulders of Christ. 00:06:52.389 --> 00:06:55.629 He inherits the governments. We need to get into 00:06:55.629 --> 00:06:57.829 the position that God has called us to be, and 00:06:57.829 --> 00:07:01.129 that's as the Ecclesia, and we need to understand 00:07:01.129 --> 00:07:04.550 and ask the Lord the Holy Spirit to help us. 00:07:05.509 --> 00:07:08.670 receive the gifts he has for us, understand the 00:07:08.670 --> 00:07:10.829 place and position of works of service he has 00:07:10.829 --> 00:07:13.350 for each one of us individually, cooperate with 00:07:13.350 --> 00:07:18.009 others who are serving the Lord, and expect God 00:07:18.009 --> 00:07:21.959 through the Holy Spirit work through us to accomplish 00:07:21.959 --> 00:07:24.600 his will. We pray all the time that we want to 00:07:24.600 --> 00:07:26.519 see God's kingdom will done on earth as it is 00:07:26.519 --> 00:07:28.319 in heaven. Well that means, as you've pointed 00:07:28.319 --> 00:07:31.579 out, we need to align ourselves with God and 00:07:31.579 --> 00:07:35.949 allow him to work through us. That is what Could 00:07:35.949 --> 00:07:38.149 be most important especially coming into this 00:07:38.149 --> 00:07:40.110 time of Pentecost you say it's a time of the 00:07:40.110 --> 00:07:43.949 axe Church all over again where we will see powerful 00:07:43.949 --> 00:07:46.949 displays of God's power through his people through 00:07:46.949 --> 00:07:51.250 his dedicated people and That is something that 00:07:51.250 --> 00:07:55.449 could be frightening initially and With that 00:07:55.449 --> 00:07:58.629 how would the Lord encourage us at this time 00:07:58.629 --> 00:08:01.209 at this juncture knowing we are about to be in 00:08:01.209 --> 00:08:04.860 a radically different climate If we first have 00:08:04.860 --> 00:08:09.560 to understand this, that we have to understand 00:08:09.560 --> 00:08:13.339 that God is our covering. He is the good shepherd. 00:08:13.379 --> 00:08:16.459 We are the under shepherds. We have to come under 00:08:16.459 --> 00:08:18.839 that covering. We have to be willing to come 00:08:18.839 --> 00:08:24.680 under there. And so when we're coming 00:08:47.200 --> 00:08:50.620 into that time, we have to understand that God 00:08:50.620 --> 00:08:53.340 does not ill -equip his people for a time they're 00:08:53.340 --> 00:08:57.360 coming into if they are willing to allow him 00:08:57.360 --> 00:09:00.440 to work through them. He never ill -equips them. 00:09:00.919 --> 00:09:05.860 And so the problem has become where, with part 00:09:05.860 --> 00:09:09.620 of the church, the sheep have been so ill -equipped 00:09:09.620 --> 00:09:12.720 and they have been stripped of their armor, They 00:09:12.720 --> 00:09:15.700 have not been taught how to take authority over 00:09:15.700 --> 00:09:20.320 the enemy. And so now they're entering a time 00:09:20.320 --> 00:09:25.139 where they have not gone through the basic training 00:09:25.139 --> 00:09:29.860 that they need to go through in order to basically, 00:09:29.860 --> 00:09:32.019 you know, stand in the army of the living God 00:09:32.019 --> 00:09:35.139 and know how to do combat. Because no soldier 00:09:35.139 --> 00:09:37.139 ever goes out onto the battlefield without going 00:09:37.139 --> 00:09:38.779 through training first. They just don't take 00:09:38.779 --> 00:09:41.820 anybody. weapons in their hands and say, okay, 00:09:41.840 --> 00:09:44.139 here you go, no training, we're sending you out. 00:09:44.259 --> 00:09:47.259 And that's the problem. Too many are being sent 00:09:47.259 --> 00:09:53.120 out with no training or with poor training. You know, milk is for babes. This 00:11:23.100 --> 00:11:25.840 is the time of the meat. God is expecting you. 00:11:26.269 --> 00:11:30.370 to be strengthened and nourished by the meat 00:11:30.370 --> 00:11:32.809 of the word, right? He's calling the five -fold 00:11:32.809 --> 00:11:35.789 out deeper. He's calling us higher. He's calling 00:11:35.789 --> 00:11:38.269 us to be more disciplined. We're getting called 00:11:38.269 --> 00:11:41.610 in this time because this time requires it for 00:11:41.610 --> 00:11:44.669 what we are in. The enemy is losing territory. 00:11:44.889 --> 00:11:47.870 He is losing hosts. He is losing puppets. We have the authority to 00:11:57.820 --> 00:11:59.559 rebuke that attack in the name of Jesus Christ 00:11:59.559 --> 00:12:02.159 before it ever gets near. That's why the church 00:12:02.159 --> 00:12:04.259 needs God's vision right now. They need God's 00:12:04.259 --> 00:12:06.960 perspective, right? They need to mount up with 00:12:06.960 --> 00:12:08.559 wings like eagles. We're coming into the time 00:12:08.559 --> 00:12:12.500 of Isaiah 40 -31 for the church right now. You 00:12:12.500 --> 00:12:17.220 know, Amanda, Jesus was very clear how important 00:12:17.220 --> 00:12:20.720 faith is and that we must believe and not doubt. 00:12:21.320 --> 00:12:24.840 So what I'm hearing To be very important is for 00:12:24.840 --> 00:12:28.600 each individual believer to understand the power 00:12:28.600 --> 00:12:31.460 and authority that's been provided to us by Jesus 00:12:31.460 --> 00:12:34.700 Christ. Jesus Christ has given it to us. I have it on my 00:12:52.500 --> 00:12:54.759 bookshelf Absolutely, and I think that that would 00:12:54.759 --> 00:12:57.379 be a good place for people to start especially 00:12:57.379 --> 00:13:00.059 if they're from churches or organizations that 00:13:00.059 --> 00:13:02.559 have downplayed The reality of the existence 00:13:02.559 --> 00:13:04.440 of the power of the Holy Spirit the gifts of 00:13:04.440 --> 00:13:07.240 the spirits available today That's a good book 00:13:07.240 --> 00:13:11.000 to help us. It's almost all scripture So it helps, 00:13:11.000 --> 00:13:13.759 you know from scripture the authority that we 00:13:13.759 --> 00:13:18.590 actually have as Christ followers And then finding 00:13:18.590 --> 00:13:22.029 ourselves in a position to pray with the authority, 00:13:22.210 --> 00:13:25.230 to pray as a victor, not as a victim. You can only change 00:13:53.029 --> 00:13:55.509 the present and the future. And that's fighting 00:13:55.509 --> 00:13:57.909 from a point of victory.
