Santa Claus is this mythical 00:04:09.740 --> 00:04:13.259 person who apparently lives in the North Pole, 00:04:13.400 --> 00:04:17.519 the northern part of the planet Earth. He has 00:04:17.519 --> 00:04:20.620 a list of all the good and bad children. And 00:04:20.620 --> 00:04:24.319 to all the good kids, he gives out. So you will 00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:27.040 hear this phrasal verb give out because Santa 00:04:27.040 --> 00:04:30.699 Claus gives out gifts to all the good children. 00:04:30.819 --> 00:04:34.180 In this case, what give out is referring to is 00:04:34.180 --> 00:04:37.740 to distribute something.
