Hey y'all it's Vikki and welcome to the very first episode of the Goat Locker podcast.
I said I was going to do it.
I said I was going to create a podcast.
I was going to plow through the fear and the doubt and create something because I have important stuff to say!
I don't know what those things are yet but we'll figure it out together.
It's not going to be that much different than the blog in that whatever bubbles to the surface - that I think is important and that I want to talk about or think somebody else might relate to or connect with then that's what I'll talk about.
I guarantee that you'll hear from Thelma and Louise, my two goats.
There will also be an appearance at some point in time from Barry, the husband, the Marine and that will be a guaranteed treat as well.
I'll talk about gardening and Golden Goat Awards, recognition and encouragement.
Those are all really important things to me.
So it'll be fun to look forward to.
Tech info: Right now I'm using a, the only kind of equipment that I have are my laptop and my phone.
On the laptop I'm using the voice memo app and it's working fine so far.  I'll take any
kind of feedback you have about that sound quality or whatever.
I'm using my phone for the intro and bye bye music.
My brother, Mike Caudle, recorded a CD years ago and one of the songs he recorded is Roger Miller's Walking in the Sunshine.
So the beginning of the podcast has got Mike whistling part of the song and then the
end of the podcast will have the last couple of lines.

Mike is my favorite singer of all time so I'll try to add maybe a couple other clips
from one of his other songs that's my all time favorite in future episodes.
