00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:06,000
Engine Inspection presents Going Ultra. This is MJ. I'm an author, I'm an artist, I'm an analyzer.

2
00:00:06,000 --> 00:00:12,000
Join me as I talk about Ultraman Blazar Episode 21, which is called Battle in the Sky.

3
00:00:12,000 --> 00:00:22,000
So, the Kaiju in this episode is Deltandal B for bomber. B is for bomber.

4
00:00:22,000 --> 00:00:28,000
He's a giant version of Deltandal that's like six times bigger than the last one they fought,

5
00:00:28,000 --> 00:00:34,000
which was the same size as the first one they fought because there was a second Deltandal from who knows where.

6
00:00:34,000 --> 00:00:44,000
Anyway, they're testing a new weapon. So this is kind of interesting. It sort of comes from the fact that they're testing a new weapon, the JDF that is,

7
00:00:44,000 --> 00:01:04,000
and they drop a large bomb that's based off of one of the Space Kaiju and his ability to, the starfish, Space Kaiju and his ability to use the EMP weapon.

8
00:01:04,000 --> 00:01:14,000
Hold on, what's the name of this guy? That's odd that in the synopsis they don't have more detail here. Unfortunately, we're missing a little bit of detail.

9
00:01:14,000 --> 00:01:22,000
Golly. What was that guy saying? Yeah, the Kaiju was only mentioned in passing, but it definitely did come from him.

10
00:01:22,000 --> 00:01:30,000
Let me see if this, nope, that's in Japanese. I can't read that. Okay. Well, you know what I'm talking about, the starfish guy from a few episodes ago.

11
00:01:30,000 --> 00:01:48,000
Actually, let me scan back real quick through these and see.

12
00:01:48,000 --> 00:02:08,000
Ibaroga, that's what it is. Ibaroga, Rizonga Ibaroga and a Shurper, a Pyrrhoop, a Shurper. Rizonga, Ibaroga, and what else? We're all Space Kaiju.

13
00:02:08,000 --> 00:02:20,000
I miss Ibaroga because Ibaroga comes into Moga. Anyway, so based on that guy, on...

14
00:02:20,000 --> 00:02:42,000
This Kaiju is interesting in my mind as well as Rizonga. Anyway, they're using a weapon based on Moga. The GDF has an anti-tank weapon, a bomber-like thing, and Yasukinobu is a Pyrrhoop. He hopes to ensure that the GDF cleared the ocean in the present and put it off the bomb.

15
00:02:42,000 --> 00:02:55,000
And when the stuff emerges from the ocean and starts flying around, I guess damaging stuff, it's not even damaging stuff, it's all over the ocean, he's going to set it off. So I guess they're going to check.

16
00:02:55,000 --> 00:03:15,000
And then they send Pyrrhoop with this, which they call Mod 3 with this ring of tepthorne, it's the exception of the Uranus, you know, Skype module or whatever, to make that, which I find is very cool because it's the Hanzo Aramature.

17
00:03:15,000 --> 00:03:30,000
Anyway, yeah, so it's the Uranus whatever, and it makes me cry. Anyway, so they send it out and it doesn't quite do well. Yasukinobu can't handle the cheese and the tepthorne says...

18
00:03:30,000 --> 00:03:45,000
I'm not talking about the Gatcham, I'm talking about the Vodoro, they're going Mach 9, so it's really fast, it's really a lot of screen on his body, he can't handle it, he has to not be in battle. Then, Honoree goes ahead and engages it a second time in battle and she can't handle it.

19
00:03:45,000 --> 00:04:12,000
She's not as good of a match as him and he's been pivoted by the brass from going in there, so she actually ends up getting hit and the tepthorne. It's interesting, he is the weakest stamina, she is the weakest matchmanship, so the resolution is for Pyrrhoop to send them out together.

20
00:04:12,000 --> 00:04:29,000
He sends them out together and Yasukinobu is not supposed to do certain things and she's supposed to do other things. She's supposed to let Yasukinobu go out seriously, piloting the strategic management, so she can brain-cheese the Gronor the Hanzo, whatever.

21
00:04:29,000 --> 00:04:57,000
So it's kind of an interesting solution to it, but I didn't really like this episode, it was okay, it wasn't something that did a lot for me, I feel like it's thanking stuff, thanking the seats for what happens later on and he's irritated with, honestly there's like a dozen people there from command or whatever, and she seems irritated with them, the lady who bite and a bunch of guys in suits.

22
00:04:57,000 --> 00:05:07,000
And honestly that lady in white makes me uncomfortable, so we'll see, maybe just the contrast, she stands out more from the guys that could be sitting with something else.

23
00:05:07,000 --> 00:05:33,000
But yeah, I wasn't too scared of this one, things were okay, I don't know, there's more to do than stayed and more than just this, I don't know, Earthquake is fine, I don't need to be involved in the Black Knight or the Black Tempest or anything, I guess it was a good opportunity for Yasukinobu and honor to farm and to contribute to the team.

24
00:05:33,000 --> 00:05:53,000
And the truth is he's chosen the Black Tempest team because he's the better pilot for the team, he has, and he acknowledges that he's a better luck team and he says that the Blacks is just learning that and he's kind of quickly doing that and he's triggered the entire row of her.

25
00:05:53,000 --> 00:06:15,000
And it was nice to see the relationship, it was nice to see her and her team, it was nice to see that they're a couple of different bodies that are piloting that, and that makes me superior to you or whatever, which I mean, the pressure is, we also have to pressure the milk, because you can use some strengths that you don't have, and that's okay, you can get better by the shock or whatever and that's okay.

26
00:06:15,000 --> 00:06:36,000
So, that's kind of interesting, I don't understand why Earthquakes and stuff is where that emphasis of piloting the milk is triggered, or triggered the whole thing, because that sure would seem like something that would kind of explain why you can have people piloting that at all.

27
00:06:36,000 --> 00:06:52,000
It doesn't sound like there's a certain amount of community of people or people who are piloting it and it changes you, it needs to be consistent with how it works, so I'm a little confused about that.

28
00:06:52,000 --> 00:07:21,000
Anyway, I'm kind of disconcerted, the 2.0b looks cool, it's interesting that it's bigger than the predecessor, and it seems to be this gravity weapon and the election would have worked enough, which would have been like the gravity weapon that's opened up a cornhole and the 2.0b came through the cornhole, although there's no proof so far.

29
00:07:21,000 --> 00:07:32,000
So, I don't think that the 2.0b is supposed to be a space-type cube, a gravity-type cube, or an Earthquake cube, because otherwise how would it have evolved from the Earthquake?

30
00:07:32,000 --> 00:07:51,000
I don't think that makes sense, but I would look for a new Earthquake if they stayed going like that. So, I'm just going to ask a question, or I'm just going to look real quick.

31
00:07:51,000 --> 00:08:04,000
So, it seems to be the third wave of space-type after the 1.0b, but the 2.0b is actually a subterranean Earthquake cube, with the openers of the 1.0b and the now moving around a little high-speed.

32
00:08:04,000 --> 00:08:25,000
So, that's the gdf, the gdf is in the... sorry. So, yeah, we don't know if the address of the 2.0b is...

33
00:08:25,000 --> 00:08:34,000
The water-dilting lb has a separate... oh, here we go. A separate... larger variant. A surface from the ocean... okay, yeah.

34
00:08:34,000 --> 00:08:46,000
So, I don't know. I don't get that. So, unless, again, unless they're... I mean, I could feel like they're... I don't know.

35
00:08:46,000 --> 00:08:57,000
I tried to skip something, but it was just okay for me. I'm not majorly let down by this one. I'm not super disciplined. It just didn't really grab me as much as it could have.

36
00:08:57,000 --> 00:09:07,000
Probably the best thing, and the thing I enjoyed most, was the fact that they're still doing... they're carrying on the continuity of them starting to do that what to do when you start a kaiju thing.

37
00:09:07,000 --> 00:09:17,000
And it gets stuck to that, like, we always do the episode, and it's the end of the episode after they've done the heroic thing. They gotta do that, and yes and no. We are all bummed about it.

38
00:09:17,000 --> 00:09:30,000
It's for everybody else, and it's just... like that, like that is like... that team, this family, this team, like being stuck in a jutsu they hate because they get something they felt they had to do,

39
00:09:30,000 --> 00:09:44,000
which is, you know, they made this world, sacrifice whatever, and then they're punished for having to do this thing that they don't want to do. Like, that's interesting, that's fun, that's compelling, and seeing their reaction to that is really enjoyable.

40
00:09:44,000 --> 00:09:57,000
And the rest of it around, it was just like... it was just okay. So, yeah, like, I don't know, it's starting from here, like, doing military exercise, and the looping, and the barrel rolling, and the spinning, and whatever.

41
00:09:57,000 --> 00:10:13,000
And I don't know, I don't know, I just, maybe I just can't see you anymore, so I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm gonna get out of here. Let's hope we're gonna finish this film, but we'll see, we'll see what happens.

42
00:10:27,000 --> 00:10:35,000
Until next time, be well. This is MJ signing out. This has been a Story Over Everything production.
