Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the sheep Get Sheared Podcast, home of people, politics and popular culture. I'm your host, Austin. Credo want to welcome you to the show. So my friends, we're going to dive back into. The life and experiences of me. But we're also gonna highlight a important milestone that I believe every person, every man in particular must undergo, just as to become a butterfly, a Caterpillar. Must go into a cocoon. Every man must go from being a boy to being a man. And I firmly believe that that has nothing to do with puberty and everything to do with. And learning how the world works. It is putting on. A new persona, one different from that. Of your boyhood. And the chrysalis required to do this is monk mode. In my opinion, Monk mode is often referred to as something that you it refers back to the ancient. What we would now call the the ancient Near East the lands of China, the lands of India. The Buddhist and Hindu monks. Go off and, well, honestly the the whole mythology of the monk's fighting style emerged from the the lands of China. During the days when the Brits, the lovely Brits, occupied. The the land of China and then basically enslave the Chinese people with opium. And it was only during the Boxer Rebellion in China where. The monks took back their land, but before they did that, they were attacked by lots of bandits and being robbed on the roads. And so they develop their own fighting style to protect themselves. As they went on pilgrimages and as they went about their business and that's where the modern version, the ancient version of Kung Fu, came from. According to what I have read. And so you get a little little drunk history with Austin Creed, but instead of alcohol, we got coffee. So my friends, the reason why Monk mode is so incredibly important and I've done this before. I've talked about this before. I went on a 90 day. No, no intercourse, no distractions. Just me transmuting all of my energy, whether it be sexual and otherwise, towards creating content towards bettering my life and reflecting upon the most difficult times of my life, in fact. Funny enough, as I was going I wake. Up early every day. With very rare exception. And as I was going out through. My walk this morning. There was a song that came up in my as I was on shuffle and it reminded me of the days when I was in the military and I was in my lowest and darkest place I've ever been in. My life. Now, for those of you who have not heard the story, I've touched on it multiple times in the past. But my friends, it was only when I was staring death in the eyes of my own hand that I realized how much value there is in life. I believe in my personal opinion that the closest someone can come to understanding God is through becoming like God and by becoming like God is God is a creator. Whether it's the Christian God, Jewish God, whatever. Whatever quote sky. Daddy, you will. You will believe in the idea of the Sky, Father. Has a universal truth of being a creator type being. Now, I personally believe in the God. Of the Bible. But regardless of whether you agree with me or not, when it comes to religion, that's not really important. I firmly believe that if you want to become more in tune with who you are, you need to understand where you came from. You need to understand who you are so then you can become who you want to be. And that is why mock mode is important. If so many of us are consumed with look, this is going to this might offend you. I'm not trying to offend you. When I say this. But I I've discovered this when I first started reading. A book entitled The Importance of Living by Lenu Tang, and he drove home a concept for me that. Despite the fact that we have advanced intelligences and big brains, we're basically monkeys. Our our body is to have a monkey. Now that has no racial connotation at all. I believe all human beings to be inherently monkeys. Because that is what we are now. You can choose to be more than that, but the base instinct of the human being is to be that of a monkey. I mean, just look at all the damages that humans have done. Look at all of the. Look at the lowest forms of humanity on the planet and how they treat each other and how they act a little more than like apes. In the jungle, as far as I'm concerned, and of course that goes across all racial lines, all ethnic lines. I'm not saying that in a racial way. I'm saying it as a species. We are monkeys. But. It is only. Through understanding your monkey body that you can then attempt to become more than just a monkey and be more of a human being and then want to be closer to God. And that is why I believe that the biblical bachelor model of bunk mode comes down to understanding who you are, understanding why you do the things you do and having a direction for your life. Because it's really easy to get swept up in all of the distractions that are put before us by the government, social media, by people around us, and our lives, it's very easy to get distracted constantly. And but it's very hard to stay focused, have purpose, have direction, focus your energy, your attention, your time. Your mindset, your money on things that matter to you, not that you were told, should matter to you. That's why I'm going back on Monk mode because I realized I was starting to get a little distracted. Because at the end of the day, like I said, we are the. Bodies of. A monkey and I. I'm actually writing a book on this right now. I'm not. I'm it's not for sale. It's not for sale. You can't go buy it anywhere. But I'm writing a book right now about this dichotomy of the human being. The man and the monkey. The the glint of God that we have. And then our monkey bodies that kind of imprison this little glimpse of God. But anyways, going back to Monk mode, if you are distracted, if you feel as though you have no purpose. If you think that your life you're a victim in your own life and and not pushing on towards victory. You should go monkmode. You should drop with if you're addicted to anything. Go monk mode. If you are not getting the good night's sleep and you're up till 3:00 AM in the morning, go Monk mode. If you are unhappy and depressed, you need to go much mode. There are so many instances where you need to go Monk mode. Because if you don't. You are robbing yourself and leaving results on the table that you could be grabbing. Being all over the place, distraught, angry out of sorts, that's. Going to hurt you in the long run. When you are procrastinating, when you're unhappy, when you're drifting, it will feel good in the short term, you'll feel relaxed. You'll feel good. You know, almost indifferent, kind of in limbo, like in Purgatory, basically, but in the long run you'll feel horrible. Versus when you're grinding and you're on your purpose and you're working hard. Like I love content creation. I love doing this stuff. That's why I do it every. Day for hours. The problem is most people don't. They don't have something joyous like I have and I want you to find that for yourself. It took me going. Monk mode. It took me really separating myself from the pack and realizing that I never belonged there in the 1st place when I was a kid I got bullied a lot when I was a kid, I was never normal. I always stood out. I always wanted to conform to the crowd. I always wanted to be like everyone else because I wanted people to accept me now. I realize I can have my cake and eat it too. I can have people accept me for who I am. But maybe just not in the way that I always envisioned. Maybe you don't have the same struggles as me. In fact, I would be shocked if you did. But let me tell you, if you have problems in your life right now, you're not getting over something. Something's getting in your way. You're unhappy. You need to change that. And you have the power to do it. But it's not going to be free and it's going to cost you something. So what do you want to sacrifice? Because you can get free advice from me that you're getting right now. But even with all the free game in the world, you have to put the rubber on the road for it to matter. Otherwise you're just sitting in the parking lot watching all the people's lives go by, feeling left out. That's where this sense of FOMO fear of missing. Out comes in. Don't be afraid of missing out because you gotta be so busy in your own lane. You don't care what other people are doing in the lanes next to you. It's totally irrelevant to you. My friends, the biblical bachelor model of monk mode, I wrote all about it and the book you see in the bottom left hand of. Your screen I. Wrote about what you what is required of a young man to change his life in 30 days, 90 days. I've been making content like this since March of this year. And I plan to do it for the rest of my life. I love doing this, but I would have never discovered how much I love doing this if I'd never tried it. And I want you to find the same joy and something that you've always wanted to try. We live in the best time in human history where you could literally take anything that you enjoy doing. Gaming, beekeeping, cooking anything and make content and make money off of it on the Internet and never have to work a nine to five ever again. But it requires you to believe in yourself. It requires you to forsake being part of the herd. It requires you to separate yourself. And we talk and and Christianity, they talk about being set apart. That's not just a spiritual thing. I believe that could translate very well to the physical world as well. If you have an untraditional philosophy like I do. You have your own lane out here, but you need to take it. You have to take. It and I can't do it for you. You got to do it for yourself. My friends. If you need to go bunk mode like me, go. Bunk mode 30 days. If you can do more than 30, go 60. If you can do more than 60, go 90. But sacrifice something? Give it up. Sacrifice something, for example. What I'm going to do? Is. I'm not I'm gonna. Really, curtail back on the amount of indulgence I have when it comes to physically and every. Time I have. A thought that would lead me down the wrong path. I'm going to go do 10 push-ups. Because trust me, I can hit someone up right now and Gee, she'd. Come over. I'm not. That's not flexing on you. I'm just telling you I could. Do it right now, but guess what? Doing that would take me off my game. It wouldn't let me edit it wouldn't help me make shorts. It wouldn't help me write the two books I'm working on. It wouldn't help me do any of those things. It would distract me. Trust me again. I'm not saying it's the flex. I'm giving you perspective on my life, so hopefully if I can give you insight. Into your own. I have girls I can hit up right now and say. Hey, come through. She would. And then if I wanted to, if I went around 2:00, I could take round two. If I want round three, I can go round three. But that would take up a huge portion of my day. And then I would do nothing of actual substance. So guess what? Maybe you don't have that ability right now, and that's OK. I'm not trying to flex on you. I just want you to know that if you want to get to this level, you can. I'm not making millions of dollars yet by the end of the day, if you want to become the best version of yourself, you have to sacrifice these things that are available to you, and it goes back to what I said earlier. I didn't have a lot of these things before I went in Monk mode and I started to understand my worth and treat myself as such. Once you have the access to something and I'm talking about this with my younger brother too. He's in high school. He's obsessed with getting, you know, poonani and getting laid and all that stuff. Guess what I tell him? I said, look, dude, once you have the access to have it, pretty much whatever you want, it's not all. That anymore you're like. I was all obsessed with this. Are you kidding? This is what I was obsessed with. Like and you start saying. You know what? I'll have it whenever you know. Whenever I'm not worried about it anymore, I can focus on something else. Now that's how life is. But again, maybe you need to. You could take my word for it, or you could experience it for yourself. And I've talked to many older men who tell me I'm way ahead of the game when it comes to this. They spent their whole 20s and 30s feeding after the monkey crap, the monkey stuff. Help you know. Drugs, alcohol, sex, all that stuff. Let me tell you, there's plenty of it to go around, if that's what you want to do. I wouldn't recommend it, but if that's what you want, that's out here. But that's going to cost you. It's not free. Nothing. Nothing is free. Law 40 of the 48 laws of power says, despise the free lunch because it is never what is actually. It's never worth anything. My friends, if you need to go much mode, go mock mode. If you want to buy the book and I talk about mock mode, I talk about what it takes to be successful, drop it, it's in the description, my friends, if you like what you heard, go and follow me on XI. Tweet quite a. Bit I'd love to have your voice be heard on the thoughts I raise or you can bring. Up your own points if you want. It's up to you. I'm I'm a firm believer in free speech. My friends, God bless you. God bless your families and God Bless America. Let's get out here. Let's win. Start paying the cost to be the boss. I'm out. Peace.
