What's going on, everybody? Welcome to the sheep Kiss Sheard podcast, home of people, politics and popular culture. I'm your host, Austin Creed, and welcome into the Morning Show. So the morning show, we tend to talk about things that will get you motivated. I share some simple realities to motivate you and inspire you, but you know. I was doing some thinking this morning. And I realized something. With all his self help. Books, movies, TV shows, podcasts, you name it. There, it's so saturated. Everybody's out here telling you that your dreams in front of you. You could easily grab it. You just need to step out. You need to do it. Is something that everybody's heard before, right? What is separating you from doing? What it is they're telling you to do? Is it the fact that it doesn't seem practical? Is it the fact that maybe it seems unrealistic or it just seems almost too good to be true? Perhaps. I don't want to fall into that category. I want to share with you one simple reality. That can change your life forever. But not because I'm saying it. It will change your life if you choose to actually believe it for yourself. And not only. Believe it, but apply it to your life. Everything starts with an idea. I don't care if it's taking the man to the moon. I don't care if it's when Ford first developed the combustion engine. Everything starts with an idea. Now you got to apply. Be your ambition to that idea. But you know, it's sad. I look around my college campus especially, and I see people who talk about having big dreams. Or at least they think they should have big dreams. But I'm not exactly sure what they should do. But it seems so far away they don't gotta worry about a ride now. They'll worry about it some other time. And then I look at my life. And not that I'm better than anybody. That's not the point. The point is. I've been in a very low place in my life. I've been through what I've been through, circumstances and situations the most. People in the early 20s have not been most people in their early 20s have not been in the military. They have not been in a very low place where they had nothing better to do but think big. Think of what? I could be doing what I want to do that would make me happier. You know, there was a time when I thought to myself, yeah, you know, it would be good if I started a podcast or, hey, you know what would be nice to have a radio show? You know? Yeah, it'd be nice if I got my voice out there. And I felt heard and I could help people. I didn't do it, but back in the day why I was scared. I said, man. Nobody want to listen to what? I had to say what? Is it that I would say that be different? For all I know, no one would listen. I could come up with every excuse you could ever imagine to say, hey, you know what? I'm not going to do it. But your excuses are simply. Killing your confidence and that is something I learned. The hard way. Now I do at least one show a day. I like to do 2, but sometimes life happens on top of the fact that my book comes out in less than two weeks. Biblical bachelors coming out on Halloween. I'm editing another book. I'm visiting the family. I'm doing all kinds of stuff. And the problem is too many people will use an excuse if you if you make an excuse, it's because you don't want to do it. You don't want to take that leap of faith. You don't want to take that jump and say, hey, you know what? I know below me. There's a treasure, there's a there is a box. A treasure chest of gold at the bottom of this lake and I was standing on the top, ready to jump in to that lake and swim down there and grab the gold for myself. But you can't swim. You can't swim. What are you gonna do? You gonna sit there on the ledge and wait for someone else to jump down there and grab all the gold coins? Is that what you gonna do, huh? Or are you gonna figure out a way to teach yourself how to swim so that you can go down there and you can do it? Or maybe you help find someone else to help teach you how to swim. And you split the money with them. Every idea has an application now not going to be easy. The harder it the more ambitious you are, the harder it's going to be. I am not going to sit here and tell you that the bigger you think the. More easily you will achieve your goals. This is false. In fact it's the opposite. But what is it with people and wanting to make excuses and you know, I find myself even now, sometimes making excuses. We want to tell our give ourselves reasons as to why we can't or shouldn't or won't do something. Instead of saying you know what. What's the reason I can do this? Why should I do it? Why will I do this? Your mentality is everything, and from that jump from the get go, we are programmed with lack of limitation because we think ohh is already been done. Ohh well someone else can do it better. Oh I'm just not enough. It's so easy because that's what we were brought up to think most of us, 97% of us. That's how we were. That's how we grew up. It's only about 3%. Who grew up and said, you know what? I'm going to pass my prosperity consciousness on to my offspring. I'm going to teach them exactly how I sowed my seeds of success. And from that grew this massive bumper crop that I've used. To feed my family, to feed my life and to fuel my dreams. It doesn't happen. For most people, why? It starts with thinking big. It starts with thinking. Most people don't think they can do with something they want to do. Well, most of the time they don't even have a real reason as to why. It's on a long term reason. It's more of a short term reason. However, they find themselves lacking, feeling limited, feeling unmotivated, feeling as if they can't do it, and it kills their confidence and assassinates their confidence. The way Caesar was assassinated in front of the Senate. And yet here we have the world of opportunity. We live in the if you live in America, you live in the richest country to have ever existed, with the greatest technology. With the most fertile environment to nurse your ambitions to go forth and conquer the world. To build your dream. And yet people think that they can't do it. They'll make day in and day out excuses as to why they can't, why they shouldn't, why they might, but might not. You see how ridiculous that is? You see, well, backwards, that is. If I asked you to think big, if I asked you, hey, what is it that you want to do with your life? What is it? That would be nice if you could. If money was just completely out of the question, what would you do with your life? What would it look like? Where would you live? Who would you associate with? What Car would you drive? What would your? Kids do. Would you even have kids? Would you be married? What is it you would do? What would your life? Look like. Do you have an answer to that question? I knew I could tell you everything that I want to do. You know what I want to do? I want to live in an amazing house. That's more modern. That's a mega mansion. I want to drive a cherry red Ferrari with only that. No, that's only one of my cars. I want to go on have multiple properties I can travel to depending on the time of year, so I can nurse my creativity as much. As possible. I would love to have a boat. See about all these things. I would not. I don't want. I don't plan on ever being married and Ted, at least as long as a marriage laws are the way they are. I don't plan on getting married. I don't plan on settling down. I plan on working and putting in that hard work every single day. Now I know I realize this is a rough draft of an of a ideal life, OK? But guess what? That is significantly more than what most people have. Most people, they they know what they don't want. If someone offered you something and you say Nah, Nah, I don't want that. Not interested. But then if you say, OK, what is it you do want crickets? They got nothing. Why is that? Why is that? Why in the world? Would that be the case? Kind of weird, isn't it? Yeah, it is kind of weird. Because most people. Are not taught, but in order to get, we can go back to my example. I want to have a nice Mega Mansion House with a car or with a beautiful car. With multiple girlfriends, all this kind of stuff, right? Guess what? What am I willing to trade for that? So I'm not gonna get it for free. Ohh. I'm not going to get it for free. I also want to be a best selling author. What am I willing to give for that? Because if you think for one second that you're going to get everything that you want for free, it's just going to come to you. And you're going to have to sacrifice nothing here I tell you, that's not how it works. That's not how it works. I give my soul every day on this show. I give my soul every day when I'm writing, when I'm editing, when I'm putting in that work, not because I have to, not because I, you know, I have no other choice. Because I love. Doing this, I love doing this show. I love writing books and trying to help people improve their lives. I've learned a lot of things the hard way, my friends. I didn't always think big. I used to think pretty small to be. Honest with you all. I would think medium and then I might get somewhere you could ask the people. Who know me in. Real life. I used to be. The guy that would think about this, that and the other thing, but never actually do anything about it. I was an idea guy. Now I follow through guy back. In the day. Now when I say I'm going to do something, I'll do it. Because that's power. That's how you earn respect. That's how you prove to yourself and build confidence. You say, hey, I'm gonna write this book. Hey, I'm gonna start this show. Hey, I'm gonna go out there. I'm gonna do this, and then when you go out there and you do it, that's power. That demands respect. Not saying you're gonna conquer the world, but then you never leave your couch. No, that's not power, that's delusion. There is a difference between thinking big and being delusional. And I don't want you to be delusional. I want you to be a visionary. Not a victim. Lack and limitation has never helped anybody. All it's actually. That's a lie. It's helped the government. Oh, yeah. It's help the government grab power. Do you really think? This isn't. I don't normally bring up politics, but Can you believe what? What? What makes sense to you? Let's pretend like you're in charge. Right? Let's pretend you're in charge of the government. What would make for a better constituency? People who are full of ambition, full of vigor, full of ideas and full of a drive, or people who are. Not ambitious. Satisfy with entertainment and the illusion of something instead of the actual item. And people who do drugs. What? What would you rather have if you were in charge? People who were very easily controllable, or people who were smarter than you, more hungrier than you? And ready to move and mobilize. That's why the government tends to fear not just America. I'm not just talking about America. I'm talking about governments in general. Every revolution that's ever happened happened because the people were hungry. Whether it was the French Revolution, whether it was the Russian communist revolution, the Chinese revolution, these things don't just happen. They happen for reasons that are extremely important and involve the Pebble in the shoe. What is the Pebble in your shoe that's going to push you to say I'm tired of living the life I'm living. And I'm not just gonna come up with some random. Ohh, I wanna I wanna have hoes and money and in a. In a yacht, no. What is it you actually want? What is it you want to do that you're going to say I'm going to stick my life on this? And no one. 'S gonna tell me to give up. I don't care how many times someone says I'm no good. I don't care how many times someone says, hey, you know what? You don't have talent. You you're. You're wasting your time. Do you think people always tell me that I'm that I believe that I'm the? I believe I'm the best podcaster in the business. I believe that I'm a visionary. And I have a natural talent for this. And I have a very strong desire to help people develop themselves and and make their own personal philosophy and become better than they are right now. Now, does that mean that I believe that? Does that make it that everyone else will automatically agree with me? Of course not. But guess what? Your failures are not the end. They are how you learn and become better than you were, but yesterday it's really easy to to do, be happy and be confident when you're. Winning all the time. It's harder and takes discipline when you're down. And you're saying, hey, you know what, this someone comes back to you and says, hey, you didn't do this, right. Hey, you know what? I was disappointed in this or. Your editor comes back with the book and he says, hey, you know what this needs work. You know, you have vision, but you need to work on this. That's not bad. That's an opportunity to improve. And you should jump on that. That's what I do. I'm always wanting to improve and be better. Why are you not wanting to be better? Are you satisfied with who you are? Shouldn't be lifes too short for that? My friends, I gotta. I'm gonna have to wrap this up here pretty soon because I got I gotta head to the airport. You're not too long from. Now I got places to be people to see. And my friends, it all comes down to your thoughts, your thoughts, you might think are harmless. They're not going to hurt you. They're not that important. You can just brush them aside. I'm here to tell you you you might think that. But it's just simply untrue. Because you can't control every thought that you have. You can you can control the direction to an extent. But your mind is doing too much. For you to moderate and check every single thought that you have every second of the day, it just doesn't work. So you gotta put your brain to work because it is the most powerful muscle you have. In the same way that if you want to be big in the gym, you gotta train your muscles. If you want to be successful, you got to train your brain. My friends never be afraid to think big. It's better to. Shoot for the moon and not make it. Then the shoot. For the sky and not even leave the ground. You have to want it and you have to work for it every day and be adaptable and never give up. Giving up is the one thing that will separate you from everybody else. My friends, God bless you. God bless and you know what? I don't want to end just yet. I want you to just to write down what it is that you want to do with your life, or even if you think you want to do it, write it down, explore it a little bit. And you will be surprised to see how much you actually enjoy. Or maybe you don't enjoy it and you go back to the drawing board. But don't be afraid to sit. Down with yourself and get to know yourself a little bit. But I'll stop it right there, my friends. God bless you. God bless your families. God Bless America. Never be afraid to think big. Never be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and conquer the world because you can. The only person stopping you is the man in the mirror and don't let him win peace.
