All of this was manifested 00:12:10.470 --> 00:12:19.169 through Jesus. That's why the religious people 00:12:19.169 --> 00:12:26.330 were upset with Jesus. And they would even say 00:12:26.330 --> 00:12:28.230 he was blasphemous because he would say that 00:12:28.230 --> 00:12:33.610 he was the son of God. Yet it was only given 00:12:33.610 --> 00:12:39.379 to Jesus to reveal God. And in John 14, we can 00:12:39.379 --> 00:12:45.940 see how Jesus talks to us and leaves us a promise. 00:12:50.120 --> 00:12:53.200 And he's speaking and he's speaking to his disciples. 00:13:00.659 --> 00:13:02.600 Because even the disciples had a little bit of 00:13:02.600 --> 00:13:07.299 an issue how to really see the Father. So Jesus is establishing, you're 00:14:07.100 --> 00:14:13.929 seeing me. I am the exact representation of my 00:14:13.929 --> 00:14:17.129 Father. You see me, you see the Father. Verse 00:14:17.129 --> 00:14:31.600 10. Do you not believe that I am the Father and 00:14:31.600 --> 00:14:33.879 the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, 00:14:34.059 --> 00:14:36.220 I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father 00:14:36.220 --> 00:14:43.960 who dwells in me does the works. Let me repeat that. The correct way 00:15:46.720 --> 00:15:54.889 to see God is through the person of Jesus. Why? Because He knew the Father. 1 00:16:22.850 --> 00:16:28.269 John chapter 3 speaks about that. But even in 00:16:28.269 --> 00:16:33.110 Hebrews chapter 1 verse 3, if you read that verse, 00:16:34.729 --> 00:16:40.929 It's glorious. It says that Jesus is the glory 00:16:40.929 --> 00:16:48.610 of God Himself. The exact representation and 00:16:48.610 --> 00:16:51.730 the perfect impression of His Father. That's 00:16:51.730 --> 00:16:56.889 powerful. And why is it important to know this? 00:16:57.049 --> 00:17:02.590 Because when we are with the Lord and we stray 00:17:02.590 --> 00:17:09.630 away for some reason. Religion tells you that 00:17:09.630 --> 00:17:11.730 you have to make works in order to win God's 00:17:11.730 --> 00:17:17.029 love. Nonetheless, you never stop being a son. 00:17:19.269 --> 00:17:23.049 You didn't do something to become a son. You 00:17:23.049 --> 00:17:28.890 simply believed in Jesus and he gave you all 00:17:28.890 --> 00:17:32.720 authority. to be called a child of God. And they say, I don't 00:18:05.250 --> 00:18:06.509 want nothing to do with the church because I 00:18:06.509 --> 00:18:09.170 went to church and they mistreated me. I don't 00:18:09.170 --> 00:18:11.890 want nothing to do with God. And in church there's 00:18:11.890 --> 00:18:20.089 no love. And in church they're two -faced. Yes, 00:18:20.150 --> 00:18:23.089 but we are not called to follow the church. We 00:18:23.089 --> 00:18:28.490 are called to see Christ, follow Christ, walk 00:18:28.490 --> 00:18:33.309 with Christ, love Christ, and there you will 00:18:33.309 --> 00:18:38.029 see Christ correctly. Are we here? So many people 00:18:38.029 --> 00:18:42.660 lost sight of the person of Jesus. lost the focus 00:18:42.660 --> 00:18:46.619 of the person of Christ.
