The northern part of 00:03:32.120 --> 00:03:35.280 the kingdom was the old city, with buildings 00:03:35.280 --> 00:03:39.240 of old that had a certain rustic charm. Ladies and gentlemen, Jesus 00:17:19.069 --> 00:17:23.210 has prepared the table for us today. Jesus saw the crowds in Matthew chapter 00:17:32.769 --> 00:17:35.910 15 and he looked on them with compassion because 00:17:35.910 --> 00:17:38.650 he knew they were a people who were hungry and 00:17:38.650 --> 00:17:42.150 a people who needed to be fed. And Jesus was 00:17:42.150 --> 00:17:45.569 a worthy king who said, I will give all, everything 00:17:45.569 --> 00:17:51.109 I have to feed the people. In the story of Jesus 00:17:51.109 --> 00:17:55.349 feeding the 4 ,000 in Matthew chapter 15, Jesus 00:17:55.349 --> 00:17:58.849 provided a miracle that day to feed the people. 00:18:00.720 --> 00:18:02.740 But there was a greater hunger that you and I 00:18:02.740 --> 00:18:07.440 have. A hunger in the soul. Of the desire for 00:18:07.440 --> 00:18:12.500 our sins to be forgiven. And Jesus provided for 00:18:12.500 --> 00:18:17.019 that hunger as well. For he was a king who was 00:18:17.019 --> 00:18:21.259 worthy. He was a king who gave everything for 00:18:21.259 --> 00:18:25.859 us so that we could be provided for. He was one 00:18:25.859 --> 00:18:30.279 who was nailed to a cross so that our sins could 00:18:30.279 --> 00:18:35.779 be forgiven. Just as Jesus fed those people in 00:18:35.779 --> 00:18:40.019 the crowd of 4 ,000, so Jesus desires to feed 00:18:40.019 --> 00:18:45.579 you and I today. Are you hungry? Jesus gave his life 00:20:06.910 --> 00:20:11.069 for us so that we could be forgiven. Isaiah chapter 25, verses 6 through 00:20:30.559 --> 00:20:35.079 9, is a prophecy about God in all of His glory 00:20:35.079 --> 00:20:38.319 and His taking care of all of His people. It 00:20:38.319 --> 00:20:43.039 says this, The Lord of hosts will prepare a feast 00:20:43.039 --> 00:20:47.519 for all the disciples on His mountain. A feast 00:20:47.519 --> 00:20:50.980 of aged wine, choice meat, finely aged wine. 00:20:51.779 --> 00:20:54.920 On this mountain he will destroy the burial shroud, 00:20:55.240 --> 00:20:59.220 the shroud over all the peoples, the sheet covering 00:20:59.220 --> 00:21:03.079 all the nations.
