00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:06,000
This is MJ Muñoz bringing you another 10 minute drawing session. This is from February 10th, 2024.

2
00:00:06,000 --> 00:00:11,000
This is Grand Beast of Flame number one or two. It's supposed to be number two, but I called it one, so I'm sticking with that.

3
00:00:11,000 --> 00:00:17,000
Anyway, the goal with this Grand Beast is to have him have a very diverse body shape, so I was thinking,

4
00:00:17,000 --> 00:00:22,000
make him serpentine so that he contrasts well with the other three Grand Beasts, but then I was thinking,

5
00:00:22,000 --> 00:00:27,000
why doesn't he look like a flame? I think I'd like an undulating, flickering kind of form of this body.

6
00:00:27,000 --> 00:00:35,000
The serpentine thing made me think, well, he can kind of be wiggling around and kind of having his body always in this S shape,

7
00:00:35,000 --> 00:00:41,000
this kind of flame shape, and then I was thinking, well, I don't know that I wanted to be a snake per se.

8
00:00:41,000 --> 00:00:47,000
Maybe I wanted to be more like a fire salamander, somewhere between a worm, a salamander, and a candle,

9
00:00:47,000 --> 00:00:53,000
as you see in the upper left-hand corner. That's what I wanted to...that was my prompt for creating this.

10
00:00:53,000 --> 00:01:03,000
And this character is supposed to be a villain or related to the villain of the story that these four Grand Beasts feature in,

11
00:01:03,000 --> 00:01:10,000
and I don't think he looks very villainous. I think I did a good job of making him kind of cute,

12
00:01:10,000 --> 00:01:18,000
and he ends up feeling a little bit like a Disney mascot or something to me, especially this last image.

13
00:01:18,000 --> 00:01:23,000
I don't mind him having a simple face. It's kind of accurate to a salamander, but it's a little too friendly.

14
00:01:23,000 --> 00:01:27,000
I don't know. What do you think? Could this guy be the villain? Does he look like flame?

15
00:01:27,000 --> 00:01:31,000
I kind of think he does, and I kind of think he could. I don't know.

16
00:01:31,000 --> 00:01:37,000
