This is MJ, I'm an author, I'm an artist, I'm an analyzer. You can find all my work at MJMunoz.com.

00:00:05,000 --> 00:00:12,000
For February 26, 2024, this is my 10-minute drawing session where I revise the Grand Beast of Water.

3
00:00:12,000 --> 00:00:21,000
This is Grand Beast of Water number 3, and it's a fairly simple revision of Grand Water, or Grand Beast of Water number 2.

4
00:00:21,000 --> 00:00:27,000
And the, I added a different angle to it. I added a head-on angle as opposed to just a side angle,

5
00:00:27,000 --> 00:00:34,000
but I did repeat the side profile that I had before. And basically, I modified it. I made it a little bit thicker,

6
00:00:34,000 --> 00:00:41,000
I think I made it thicker and a little longer, more even through. And you can see that I went ahead and erased and redrew some stuff

7
00:00:41,000 --> 00:00:47,000
to kind of define better the shape of the body and kind of make it more simple to design, to draw.

8
00:00:47,000 --> 00:00:55,000
And I had this cool idea towards the end of it that on his tail he's got seven spheres, or seven bumps, or whatever they are,

9
00:00:55,000 --> 00:01:01,000
on his tail as it curls around. And I thought that was kind of cool, and I defined more that this, you know,

10
00:01:01,000 --> 00:01:07,000
he's got this little hump fin on his back, and that barely peeks up over his head, and you can see it.

11
00:01:07,000 --> 00:01:12,000
You know, if he's dead-on, looking at you and his curl, his curled tail, you know, lines up behind him,

12
00:01:12,000 --> 00:01:17,000
so there's kind of like a, you know, T-shape to his body, I guess, kind of like a T-shape.

13
00:01:17,000 --> 00:01:22,000
He's pointing in all four directions, basically, with his fins, the, you know, side fins, the dorsal fin,

14
00:01:22,000 --> 00:01:30,000
and then the tail as well, kind of pointing down. So, oh, I wanted my guy to have originally fins and scales,

15
00:01:30,000 --> 00:01:36,000
but I might need to reconsider that with this whale guy. Although a whale with scales could be kind of an interesting and fun idea,

16
00:01:36,000 --> 00:01:42,000
but I'm not sure that's necessary, but I definitely like the fins on him, and I think I'm basically done with this guy.

17
00:01:42,000 --> 00:01:47,000
We'll see. I need to move on to the other creatures, I think, and start working on their designs.

18
00:01:47,000 --> 00:01:55,000
I hope you enjoyed that. Go to MJMunoz.com to leave any questions, comments, or other feedback you might have.
