And so Paul, if you look down in 00:01:45.040 --> 00:01:47.640 verse 10, was dealing with people in his church 00:01:47.640 --> 00:01:51.230 that were challenging his authority. And it wasn't, 00:01:51.230 --> 00:01:53.469 I don't think, Paul that was so much concerned 00:01:53.469 --> 00:01:57.290 because they were defaming him, but because they 00:01:57.290 --> 00:02:00.569 were causing dissidence in the church and division. 00:02:01.370 --> 00:02:07.450 And so he recognized that the speech that was 00:02:07.450 --> 00:02:11.930 coming forth, it said, oh, Paul's bold in his 00:02:11.930 --> 00:02:13.830 letters, but when he's here, he's not the real 00:02:13.830 --> 00:02:17.169 deal. And that's what they were saying about 00:02:17.169 --> 00:02:22.560 Paul. It was dividing the church because many 00:02:22.560 --> 00:02:26.000 looked to Paul for leadership, and they were 00:02:26.000 --> 00:02:30.520 trying to diminish Paul's authority. And Paul 00:02:30.520 --> 00:02:34.080 was saying that, he was saying, when I get there, 00:02:34.120 --> 00:02:37.180 I'm going to deal with some. I don't want to 00:02:37.180 --> 00:02:39.979 have to be bold. I don't want to have to show 00:02:39.979 --> 00:02:42.840 the confidence that I have in Christ. But towards 00:02:42.840 --> 00:02:48.719 some of you, I will. And he refused to tolerate 00:02:48.719 --> 00:02:52.939 within the body that which would cause division. 00:02:53.900 --> 00:02:59.719 And so he was dealing with it head on. And he 00:02:59.719 --> 00:03:03.520 was saying these arguments, these vain imaginations, 00:03:03.599 --> 00:03:09.419 these fleshly carnal thoughts. that the enemy 00:03:09.419 --> 00:03:12.800 is using to destroy the church, I'm going to 00:03:12.800 --> 00:03:16.080 use the weapons that God has given to me, the 00:03:16.080 --> 00:03:20.879 weapons of our warfare that are not of this earth, 00:03:21.060 --> 00:03:24.860 they are not carnal, but they are mighty in God, 00:03:25.039 --> 00:03:29.039 and I'm going to use them to pull down these 00:03:29.039 --> 00:03:33.240 division -causing things. I'm not going to tolerate 00:03:33.240 --> 00:03:38.599 division in the church. And so, We talked about 00:03:38.599 --> 00:03:44.699 last Sunday the fact that sourcing matters. Where 00:03:44.699 --> 00:03:51.460 your authority comes from matters. And I believe 00:03:51.460 --> 00:03:54.360 that every one of us that have given our hearts 00:03:54.360 --> 00:03:59.300 to Jesus Christ have authority as sons and daughters 00:03:59.300 --> 00:04:02.949 in the house. Hallelujah. In Revelation chapter 00:04:02.949 --> 00:04:06.050 1, I didn't cover this last week, but the Bible 00:04:06.050 --> 00:04:10.090 says that you and I are kings and priests in 00:04:10.090 --> 00:04:14.469 the world today. And a king is little K. Jesus 00:04:14.469 --> 00:04:18.389 is the big K king. And we are the little K kings 00:04:18.389 --> 00:04:23.050 under him that carry out his mission in the earth. 00:04:23.230 --> 00:04:26.350 We have authority that have been given to us 00:04:26.350 --> 00:04:32.879 by Christ. Because 00:06:09.560 --> 00:06:12.259 they saw a man healed at the gate beautiful. 00:06:13.319 --> 00:06:17.160 And when the believers began to pray, this is 00:06:17.160 --> 00:06:19.620 what they prayed. And I want to couple this with another 00:10:08.059 --> 00:10:10.840 powerful gift that is not rooted on the earth, 00:10:10.899 --> 00:10:13.559 but happened on the earth. It is rooted in the 00:10:13.559 --> 00:10:16.899 heavens. And that is this, the blood of the Lamb. 00:10:17.059 --> 00:10:20.100 And the Bible couples with that in Revelation 00:10:20.100 --> 00:10:25.039 chapter 12, verse 11, the word of our testimony. 00:10:25.320 --> 00:10:28.460 Hallelujah. The word of our testimony. How many 00:10:28.460 --> 00:10:30.919 of you got a story of what God has done in your 00:10:30.919 --> 00:10:33.659 life? Lift up your hand. You've got a story of 00:10:33.659 --> 00:10:38.779 how God has shaped you and changed you and intervened 00:10:38.779 --> 00:10:41.559 in your life and rescued you. That is the word 00:10:41.559 --> 00:10:46.399 of your testimony. And it is not rooted in carnality 00:10:46.399 --> 00:10:48.840 and the things of this world. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent 00:11:17.039 --> 00:11:20.480 of old called the devil and Satan, who deceives 00:11:20.480 --> 00:11:23.480 the whole world. He was cast. to the earth. His 00:11:23.480 --> 00:11:27.159 angels were cast out with him. And then I heard 00:11:27.159 --> 00:11:32.639 a loud voice saying in heaven, now salvation 00:11:32.639 --> 00:11:35.659 and strength in the kingdom of our God and the 00:11:35.659 --> 00:11:39.100 power of his Christ have come for the accuser 00:11:39.100 --> 00:11:42.919 of our brethren who accused them before our God 00:11:42.919 --> 00:11:48.870 day and night has been cast down. Pray always 00:13:22.690 --> 00:13:27.769 with all prayer and supplication in the Holy 00:13:27.769 --> 00:13:34.730 Spirit. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Wow. He's given 00:13:34.730 --> 00:13:37.379 us the baptism of the Holy Spirit. You know, 00:13:37.440 --> 00:13:41.679 sometimes I don't know what to do. I want to 00:14:58.740 --> 00:15:02.659 wrap this portion up, so let me just list them, 00:15:02.740 --> 00:15:06.419 the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 00:15:06.419 --> 00:15:10.000 12, they come from heaven. They are not sourced 00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:15.779 in carnality. Here's another one. We sang about 00:15:15.779 --> 00:15:20.519 it this morning. Praise. I want to say it again. 00:15:21.600 --> 00:15:26.120 Praise. I want to say it one more time. Praise. 00:15:27.440 --> 00:15:32.000 Shake your neighbor and say, Praise! Praise! 00:15:33.000 --> 00:15:40.279 Praise is a weapon of our warfare. Let the high 00:15:40.279 --> 00:15:43.679 praises of God be in their mouth and a two -edged 00:15:43.679 --> 00:15:49.899 sword in their hand. Praise is a weapon. I'm telling you that if you 00:16:16.879 --> 00:16:20.159 will lift up your voice in praise, no matter 00:16:20.159 --> 00:16:23.679 what you're going through, Oh, if you will lift 00:16:23.679 --> 00:16:26.580 up your voice and shout unto God with the voice 00:16:26.580 --> 00:16:32.399 of triumph, hell will tremble. It's just like in Acts chapter 16, when 00:16:40.179 --> 00:16:44.059 Paul and Silas were in prison, and they were 00:16:44.059 --> 00:16:47.620 going to be executed the next day. But at midnight, 00:16:48.250 --> 00:16:53.269 Paul and Silas were praying and they began to 00:16:53.269 --> 00:16:58.370 sing hymns to God. Hallelujah. And the prisoners 00:16:58.370 --> 00:17:02.009 were listening and suddenly there was an earthquake, 00:17:02.350 --> 00:17:05.210 a great earthquake, so that the foundations of 00:17:05.210 --> 00:17:08.029 the prison were shaken and immediately all the 00:17:08.029 --> 00:17:12.190 doors were open and everyone's chains were loosed. 00:17:12.470 --> 00:17:17.279 It happened because of praise. I want to challenge 00:17:17.279 --> 00:17:21.079 you that are convinced that, well, my calling 00:17:21.079 --> 00:17:24.559 is to love the Lord my God with all of my mind. 00:17:26.660 --> 00:17:30.799 And so I'm just very cerebral in my relationship 00:17:30.799 --> 00:17:34.759 with Him. I'm believing for marriages that agree 00:19:03.059 --> 00:19:05.200 together that say, hey, we're going to go after 00:19:05.200 --> 00:19:08.339 God with all of our heart. We're going to lift 00:19:08.339 --> 00:19:10.839 one another up to the Lord. We're going to stand 00:19:10.839 --> 00:19:16.200 together in Jesus' name. Friendships in the house. 00:19:16.319 --> 00:19:20.420 We stand together in Jesus' name. There's too 00:19:20.420 --> 00:19:23.500 many people that are carnal and just dragging 00:19:23.500 --> 00:19:25.200 each other around.
